Since leaving the review below, cass art reached out and I sent pics of the problem, lack of pigment. They assured me they would be in touch with the manufacturer and sent me a new set which I'm happy to say are all beautifully black. Thank you cass arts for the no quibble reply and resolution.

I bought the artists pigment fineliners pack and yes you do get what you pay for. These are terrible, initially they seemed fine but a few weeks later the pigment is now coming out much weaker, grey rather than black. I thought maybe shaking the pen would help, which it did but although it came out black it also came out in a big pool and ruined what I was drawing. If I could return I would but I had them a while before using them.
Also it seems there's no way of writing a review on their website

From ordering to delivery the service is fast and efficient. There are no art shops in this area so I rely on you to provide a wide range of quality material . I have never been let down .

Disappointed in the sale price disappearing without due notice, or information of when the sale would end. 1 day the item was £105, the next it cost me £140. Both times the price was classed as a sale price - so no discounts could be added.

Cass Art, I feel, give that 'personal' touch. They are very reasonably priced and their platform is very well laid out. I always use Cass Art and thoroughly recommend their pan pastels!

The experience was successful as I am a bit disabled and don't drive. So much more relaxing for me to order online instead of either having to go in person on the tube
to Charing Cross tube station or two buses to Hampstead
