Great little files. I found these are quite ergonomic for the task of both the jobs of initially profiling "out of the factory" frets and also a light resurface. Turned up quickly, with a lot of... Ver mais

Great Fret file
Fret file. Lovely tool and seems to have done a good job! The first time I have levelled and crowned frets so any errors will be mine!
My only comment is that a slightly finer diamond grit could be used as it takes metal off very quickly but leaves quite extreme grooves.
Nicely made grip, great value.

Resposta da Chris Alsop Guitar
Hi, Thanks for choosing our leveler and crowning tools- the grit is fairly fine and the fret can be quickly brought to a mirror finish by using the abrasive papers and the protector strip (see instructions for the sequence of this) included. Also, the fret finish after filing (not sanded yet) gets better if you apply less pressure on the file and do a few more passes - you'll get used to this with use. Just a couple of passes with the file and same with the papers and you're done. Thanks,Chris
