The guys at City Rez have been absolutely brilliant from very beginning - looking for a property to moving out! As a tenant and a landlord i know it is very rare to be able to say that about an agency! Any repairs or issues i had were sorted quickly and without any problems. Very friendly and good service, next time im looking for a property i will definitely be back!

CityRez are useless, avoid like the plague. I have been using them to let my flat for a while now. I have to remind them every single month to pay me the rent. It got better for a while after I filed a formal complaint with the regulatory body, but is now back to usual.

Tony was always on hand to help during the 4 years I’ve rented. I also had an amazing landlord, so it was a very positive experience overall

For properties in the local area, and particularly OneSE8, you cannot beat the experience and local knowledge of CityRez! They are a real part of the community and having bought and sold property with them, I would not choose anyone else. Working with Mark and Tony they are professional, courteous, hard working and were instrumental in getting my deal over the line after a very challenging transaction. Highly recommended!

A very friendly agency. Three years of cooperation with zero problems. They respond to emails very quickly. Repairs were done on time. We ended our cooperation because I bought a house. When moving out, they were very helpful with the organization. I highly recommend them 100%.

Tony and his team have been dealing with the rental of my two properties in Deals Gateway for twelve years. During that time they have found new tenants quickly and managed the properties very efficiently. Communication is good and any issue is dealt with promptly. Replacement items are costed and sent to me for approval. Prices seem reasonable. My only negative comment would be that the monthly rental can sometimes take time to appear in my back account.

I had an unsatisfactory experience with CityRez during the time they managed my property rental. Here are some specific issues I encountered:

Overcharging for Repairs: There were several instances where I was overcharged for appliance breakdowns. For example, a minor fridge issue resulted in a charge of £900, which seemed excessive. I told them that I would have bought a new fridge for less than that amount.

Tenant Screening Process: I had concerns regarding the tenant screening process. On one occasion, a tenant was allowed to rent the property where it became clear that the agency did not conduct a thorough background check as claimed.

Irregular Financial Transactions: The agency's handling of payments was also concerning. They accepted rent from the tenant in cash and then remitted it to me at their discretion, which was inconvenient and lacked transparency.

In summary, my experience with this agency was far from satisfactory. If you value your property and seek a reliable property management service, I would recommend considering other options.

Added 21-Feb-2024 in response to City Rez response: I have all the documentation from my interactions with this agency, including the charge of £940 for a new fridge freezer.

I am not surprised at the response from them.

The actual experience occured a few years ago. But other than that, all of the experiences we had are truthful.

Perhaps this agency has improved in the time since this occured, perhaps not. Not sure if you want to take the risk.

I lost a lot of money and had to deal with a tenant who was borderline criminal , thanks to the dereliction of this agency.

Cityrez stayed in constant contact throughout the renting and move-in process. When things needed to be fixed in the apartment after moving in they were on top of it immediately and arranged everything ASAP.

City Rez have been letting and managing my property for 16 years. Tony and his colleagues have been most efficient and helpful throughout, and there have been no problems. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm.

We have been using the services of Cityrez since 2016, both as tenants and landlords, and we can only speak highly about the team. Tony, Mark, and the most welcome recent addition Laura have been able to create a friendly environment where business is conducted in a competent and professional manner.
Most of the steps have been conveniently moved online, however the team continues to be very present, approachable, and make you feel considered throughout the entire process. Laura has been great at progressing the file, and responsive to us and the tenants at each stage.
