I have to say that Mark Hanson is the go to man to find you a decent place to rent.
Our whole process with Mark took less than a week to complete and we moved in the following week due to a few touch up with the flat we are renting.
The whole time kept us in formed and sped whatever he could to make the it as easy as possible.

Cityrez has been recommended to me by a work colleague. In the first instance 2.3 stars on Google generated many question marks. I believe those awful feedbacks are addressed to the members who are no longer employed with this company, as my own experience with the current staff could not be rated lower than 10/10. I would like to give a personal thank you to Tony as he is always prompt with replying and very helpful in fixing all maintenance issues in a timely manner. At the same time I would like to express my gratitude to Laura and Mark, who always helped me throughout the entire process of moving. Nowadays, positive experience with lettings agents became a rarity, so I have to say that I am very satisfied with the customer service I received. Thank you guys!

I’ve been using CityRez for over 3 years to rent out my flat and I’ve always been really impressed with all the team. Mark has sourced excellent, reliable tenants and always goes out of his way to help with any maintenance work or questions I may have. From the moment I called to view the property to the final stages of securing the flat I have been impressed by the professionalism and care shown by the agents at Cityrez, especially by Mark Hanson (who showed me the flat) and Laura Farmery (who helped me with the paperwork). Really such a lovely bunch of people who were not pushy in any way and I really felt as though they had my back throughout the process.

I contacted CityRez before arriving back in London to secure a rental. The same day I arrived I popped in at CityRez offices without an appointment and met Mark Hanson who arranged an apartment viewing for me within an hour or two. After viewing a few other apartments as well I contacted Mark and put in an offer to secure the CityRez apartment he had taken me to. The process was quick and easy and well taken care of by Mark. Within a few days Mark had the apartment ready for me to move in. I can definitely recommend Mark. With CityRez having offices on-site at the development I often bump into Mark taking people for viewings at all times of the day and evenings. I will often pass the offices and Mark will be working late on a Saturday evening taking care of business. Thanks Mark for the professional service. We have been in our flat for 3 years and had nothing but positive experiences with City Rez.
We have had some awful letting agents/landlords in the past. Especially in London. Thankfully City Rez are an exception to them

Moved in recently in August into our two bedroom apartment. Enjoying the on-site facilities.
The agency was very helpful, made the complete transaction easy and smooth. So glad the agency is on site, makes it easier to communicate with them if and when we have issues.

What a bunch of incompetent idiots. They fixed my window, but actually made it too loose...tried to tell them about it, was ignored, ended up damaging the hanger that holds the curtains because window basically almost fell out, had to fix myself. Then they take off money from the deposit because of a damaged hanger hahahaha. Getting the security deposit has been one hell of a fight, even once it was agreed upon howmuch we'd get back from the deposit (which took 2 weeks longer then was promised) After the agreement, one agent has 'gone on leave'. Then I was assured the paperwork has been processed and would take a few days to receive, once I asked for proof..NO MORE ANSWERS HAHA... OH YEA ONE MORE THING...the last tenants left a huge!! huge ink mark (looks like a few pens just exploded under the bed) They deducted it from their deposit but never replaced the mattress for us hahaha. Seemed like we'd get a new mattress, but once rent was paid, we never heard back from the landlord in all 12 months, agency would just ignore us completely. (hoping to receive our deposit sometime in this lifetime)

We have lived in a property that they manage for almost two years and they have failed to addressed various issues including a severe mice infestation which they felt they had nothing to do with until we had to call environmental health and get the holes in the brick walls blocked ourselves , at our own cost, as I am pregnant and we have a young child and we couldn't wait to be fobbed any longer!
We have a long list of issues outstanding, including a heavy chandelier which doesn't appear to be safely secured and could fall off and impaled on of us at any point. Last month we were given notice that the Landlord wants his property back which is absolutely fine, but now the agency is basically making threats that we have to use the cleaning company that THEY recommend or if there are any issues with the cleaning they will take the money off the deposit. I am absolutely disgusted and baffled that they would even resort to make such threats as having always paid the rent on time, and having worked in the industry myself in the past, I know rightly that we only need to hand the property back in the same condition it was given to us initially minus wear and tear. Should they wish to claim otherwise, I am more than happy to take my dispute to the deposit scheme as and when!
As a tenant, I would stay clear of this agency just for the sheer amount of unnecessary stress and their basic lack of understanding of how basic renting laws work.
As a landlord, I would stay clear of this agency as they have little regard for your property and I have no doubt will take a massive percentage of your monthly rent whilst disrepecting good tenants off and not taking care of your property.

Dealing with Cityrez has been fuss free and straightforward with no hidden fees. It was our first time renting. Claire, Andy and Tony were very welcoming and honest. The customer service at Cityrez is 10 out of 10, the team were so approachable and was on hand to answer any questions we had. We are very happy with the service from Cityrez. Thanks Guys.
