Useless boiler cover
I have the most expensive boiler cover that they do and you would think this would be their bread and butter. But no. My boiler has been leaking now for over a month and they seem to not be able either get parts for it or send somebody to fix it. Useless service and I will be cancelling my contract with them.

Underhand Overcharging
After a survey, my quote on 25 January included the installation of a new boiler and a 7 day programmable room thermostat; the quote also specified they would "commission electrical work as required" to complete the installation. My new boiler was fitted on 24 February and I noticed there was no new thermostat; the fitter stated it was not included in the job he had been tasked to complete. I contacted the Head of Sales who initially stated a new thermostat was not included in the job and also created a separate bogus narrative about the pre-existing electrics associated with my old boiler, none of which was identified as an issue during the survey. To rectify Clever Energy Boilers mistake I was charged an extra £140 for an electrian to attend three days later to fit the new thermostat. The electrician had no issue with the electrics and fitted and tested the thermostat inside an hour. For a company that, according to reviews, is generally regarded so highly, I was very disappointed that they passed the blame (and cost) for their mistake on to me as the customer, certainly not the actions of a reputable company.
