I had an ultrasound scan at home with Dr Shazia and the experience was excellent from start to finish. She was very warm, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the appointment. She explained everything clearly, gave helpful advice, and answered my questions patiently. I really appreciated how reassuring and knowledgeable she was. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a comfortable and professional scan experience.

Dr. Shazia is extremely competent and professional in her approach. She is incredibly thorough but also so kind, caring and incredibly patient. She took the time to explain everything and made the patient feel relaxed and reassured.

What an excellent experience. I am housebound and suffer with severe anxiety, so was very nervous arranging this. From the moment I picked up the phone to check with Dr Shahid that the appointment I was booking was convenient, bearing in mind the distance from Milton Keynes up to Yorkshire, I was treated with respect, Dr Shahid said she would ring me back to confirm within a couple of minutes and she did. For someone who currently cannot attend such an appointment at a hospital, Comfort Scan is providing an invaluable service.

Dr Shahid, and chaperone, arrived on time and professionally set up their equipment, all the while reassuring me and explaining what would happen. I had booked an upper abdominal scan, and I was given a very comprehensive examination. There was no rush and images were thoroughly explained. Dr Shahid was calm, kind, empathetic, extremely competent and demonstrated excellent knowledge and expertise. I feel she understood my anxiety issues and did all she could to settle my nerves.

Within twenty-four hours I had received a comprehensive report, together with multiple images and video clips.

It was a refreshing change to interact with a medical professional who was caring, had time for me, listened, and treated me like one of her family. I would have no hesitation in recommending this service to others.

I cannot recommend Shazia Shahid highly enough. Having been through a complex and emotionally challenging fertility treatment cycle, I needed a same-day home visit scan at very short notice. Shazia and the Comfort Scan team were exceptional from start to finish.

I have had many scans over the years as part of my fertility journey, and this was without doubt the best experience I have ever had. Shazia was thorough, methodical and incredibly skilled — she identified findings that had not been picked up in previous clinical scans, which finally explained symptoms I had been experiencing for years.

But beyond her clinical expertise, what truly set Shazia apart was her warmth, kindness and ability to provide genuine reassurance during what was an anxious/uncertain time. She took the time to explain every finding clearly, answered all my questions patiently, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire examination.

The detail of her report was outstanding — of the highest clinical standard. The fact that she could bring this level of expertise directly to my home on the same day was remarkable.

I chose comfort scan as they offered a home service and I can certainly say that I was very pleased with the service. Dr Shazia was very professional in her approach, during the scan she explained everything in much depth and really put my mind at ease. I had been for a similar scan with the NHS and was in and out of the scan room in about five minutes, Dr Shazia however really took her time to make sure everything was thoroughly checked and some findings were made and explained. I received a very detailed report within 24 hours which I will be able to present to my consultant. I have already recommended Dr Shazia to my family/friends. If you’re on a waiting list with the NHS and stuck with no answers I would fully recommend this service you will not be disappointed.

This is an excellent service with a highly professional sonographer
She knows what she’s doing and does a very thorough check. In my case, she probably picked up some abnormalities which may not have materialised for a couple of years yet.

My experience was very good, it was a very thorough scan with clearly a lot of expertise backing it up and very professional.

They are great. They arrived the same day. Finally someone took my pain seriously. Thanks to them I found out that it was caused by gall stones and gallblader inflamation. With documents from them, NHS was no longer able to ignore me.
I am very grateful for great service and care They have provided to me.

I booked a scan with Comfort Scan because of some abdominal pain and I was very surprised about the knowledge Dr Shazia has! She was very professional and in the same time she made me feeling very comfortable. She explained to me everything and reassured me. Also I saw her efforts and passion for this job, she listened to me very carefully and was very helpful .

I was really anxious after discovering a lump in my groin, and I couldn’t wait for my NHS appointment. I called Comfort Scan at 5:15pm, and by 8pm I’d already had my scan and the reassurance I needed. I also chose to have my kidneys checked because I’d been dealing with back pain. If you struggle with health anxiety like I do and find waiting unbearable, I’d highly recommend them. Dr Shasif was patient, reassuring, and talked me through every step of the process.

Dr Shazia was amazing. From the get go she was calm, kind and explained everything she was doing. My daughter had a large lump on her neck and after going back and forth my local GPs a number of times and not getting any clear diagnosis I came across comfort scans. They were so professional and they have given me the reassurance I needed for my daughter. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

Absolutely amazing ,affordable and accessible service in a comfort of my own house. It would take me months to get NHS scan to solve my problem and other companies are more expensive. Dr Shazia is very thorough,patient with caring caring attitude. I would highly recommend .

As somebody booking in an abdominal scan for potential liver (and other abdominal) issues, at age 28, I was nervous at the start with what to expect (no health concerns prior to 'letting myself go' and drinking heavily from mid to late 20s).

Shahzia and her husband were very polite and respectful in my home. The key here is that they drove all the way from Milton Keynes (granted, included within the price) at very short notice to address issues that I wanted to have clarity on as soon as possible; partially for practically and partially for mental peace of mind.

Shahzia was very informative. When I asked questions (I have no medical background) she always paused and took time to answer them.

Shahzia's responses and reassurances were proportionate to how my health 'realistically' stands vs the general narrative. Eg. If you search your symptoms / issues on Google or ChatGPT then it will tell you the worst. I was assured that certain aspects were not 'ideal' but that where I stood with my health was fully reversible with immediate lifestyle changes.

The key here is that most Doctors will tell you the generic script: 'this and that is bad for you'; which we all know. Shahzia put my scan into perspective that regardless of my lifestyle and practices, that (1) all was reversible; and (2) there was no serious or permanent concerns.

I would highly recommend Comfort Scans for their availability at short notice if you are worried about anything, their ability to make you 'feel at home' (ironically in your own home), and most importantly due to the informative nature in which Comfort Scan conducts their medical services.
