Excellent service from Joel last week. Easy to organise the appointment, turned up within the time slot, took less than 30 mins, polite and helpful, no hassle, and agreed actions before he left.
The follow up is still to happen so fingers crossed that is as good.

am extremely disappointed with my experience with Control Flow.
A representative arrived at my door unannounced and told me that communication had supposedly been sent to me regarding an upcoming visit. I had received no such communication.

I was told that my property may have a leak because of high water usage and was asked to allow an inspection. The representative was very pushy and put me under considerable pressure. After walking around my property, I was told that a new flow control device would be installed within a couple of days. At the time, I initially agreed.

However, after reflecting on the way the visit had been conducted and the fact that I had been approached without prior notice, I changed my mind. I sent an email clearly stating that I did not consent to the installation.

Despite this, just one hour later my Ring doorbell captured them returning to my property and installing the flow control device. A card was then pushed through my door stating that the installation had been completed.

I am extremely annoyed that this was carried out after I had explicitly withdrawn my consent. The installation has also reduced the water flow into my property, which is causing further inconvenience.

I will now be contacting United Utilities to raise this matter and request that the device is removed.

In my view, the whole experience was unacceptable — from the unannounced visit and high-pressure approach to proceeding with an installation after I had clearly stated that I did not consent.

Joel was very friendly and informative and helpful. Arranged for future work to lessen my water bills.

Stuart Leek was my auditor and he was polite and chatty. The appointment lasted 20-25 mins and he checked all the taps and loos. Found 2 leaks and suggested an attachment for my meter. Very easy. Leaks to be fixed without charge. Could not fault him.

The visit was quick, easy and hassle-free. The engineer came to my home and explained the process, then quickly installed the device. It was done before I knew it. I can't see any difference in water pressure. Thank you Control Flow for saving water and money.

We received a visit from this company unbeknown to us that they would be attending. Apparently 2 SMS 1 Email were sent to us and i can honestly say we received nothing. After talking to the company who were rude and said do you not want to save money, which to be honest was not the point. Myself and husband were not in when your employee arrived and my 84 year old Mother was in the property. She was told it was to read the meter and from United Utilities. They had not got our permission to come in and start changing other things in the house. I had to ring home after seeing on our ring doorbell that you were in my house much longer than just taking a meter reading. You changed things in our taps that made when we turned off a tap it ran for a while after (how is that saving me money?) This is cold calling at its best

I really recommend booking with Control Flow. The water audit was offered to me for free and was no hassle whatsoever. I look forward to seeing my bills decrease and helping save water.

You've come round telling us we might have a leak, messed about with the water and now left us with no water at all and we have 3 children.

Now I cant get through to any phones.

No this has not been sorted.
Who ever came out that day from your company causes a leak on my pipe, and united utilities are now saying they need to rip my drive up to fix the leak and they will not be able to put the drive back the way the found it.
Between you and united utilities you are and an absolute shambles
