Customer service

Spoke to a very helpful customer advisor who provided excellent advice and was very reassuring .
He listened to my concerns and reassured me that the cover I took out was appropriate for my needs.

Online Travel Policy

Purchased a travel insurance policy online, very straightforward. Very competitive price to cover a number of pre existing conditions for an older person.
Then made some slight changes over the phone, answered the phone promptly and agent very helpful.
So far very pleased but yet to make a claim!!!

Great deal for a single trip .

Great deal for a single trip for a young 69 years of age , looking forward to my holiday in August with my Co-Op travel insurance ,only £19 who can ask for a better deal.

Straightforward to access and search for quotations. After reviewing and comparing quotes CoOp was by far the cheapest and provided the cover I needed.

Revised contents cover for my 96 year…

Revised contents cover for my 96 year old mother who needed premium reduced. Very helpful person (Niki I think) who answered and help us achieve that.

Mum passed away - they cancelled buildings insurance with a few hours notice - Disgusting

My Mum passed away and I am next of kin and was dealing with funeral arrangements etc. I phoned them as the buildings insurance had been with them for many years. I explained that she had passed away and I wanted to ensure the insurance was ok. They immediately said that the underwriters they were using would not insure an unoccupied property and it would be cancelled from midnight that day. I then had to spend valuable time finding a suitable insurer in the middle of everything else.
Co op used to be ethical until they sold this business to an American Company in 2020. Do not be fooled into thinking this is the old Co-op, they are just using the name as part of the deal. Disgusting service, only interested in profits!!
Contents insurance was with Saga and they just continued it as they appreciated the situation.

I can see we tried to update the occupancy to unoccupied which was a decline with the underwriter and a new quote was offered to you. Unfortunately not every underwriter covers unoccupied properties, we will call you to discuss your concerns further.
