I have a life long friend that was a carer who went to domestic in a care home ,, I contacted these guys personally to try to help my friend about the standard of care. They did not seem too interested further more a lot of the staff are not interested in care work only the next paycheque . Shame on the ppl

I got told of cqc to report Torbay hospital and corner place surgery for tampering with my medical records to make it like I wasn't on a heart ward last February for severe heart failure the reason because they are covering up for themselves and the police for being responsible for my 76 year old mother's suicide I also I told them that them that I called the doctors up to tell them because of there lies I will take all my heart medication then they will see I'm on heart medication the receptionist at the doctor's told she didn't care and do what you want so instead of cqc investigating this they I stead sent to to the local NHS to try and get me sectioned well that didn't work did it because I record everything I've even got the doctors and my heart nurse telling me I don't need to take my heart medication and that I'm of sound mind so your a bunch of criminals just like the people ice reported to you along with evidence of my discharge papers that proves I'm telling the truth all the recordings are with proper Investigators now you will all be able to read all about when they have done with there investigations and I've also reported everything to 101 from the NHS tampering with my medical records because they and the police are responsible for my mum's death to them using a year old blood they took to frame me to the police when they do frame me stealing my money and my evidence to the me tal health team telling me they won't stop me with suicide to the receptionist telling my to go kill myself to alot of others things and all those recordings are with investigators

What a joke C Q C is my old Care company lexrae it was really rubbish and poor I have experienced poor care of Care is not doing anything falling asleep management of rubbish. I made a complaint against a hospital and although I was given a reference number and the hospital was required to investigate my complaint, when I sent the response to the CQC because the hospital admitted many mistakes, the CQC said that it cannot take any action against the hospital. So they are just pretending to investigate, and if there are serious issues, they either do not reply to you or they reply vaguely. Another institution paid for by taxpayers’ money that supports hospitals that are not in order. I am not surprised they have a 1.5-star rating considering how corrupt they are.

I have been a patient of Westfield road surgery for some 35 years+ despite initial problems,once the Canthaboo team took over services have only gone from strength to strength.the nurses Emma to mention a name has been so helpful since diagnosed with diabetes l don't think l have ever really thanked her. Emma & Mandy have always sorted out any problems that have come up.looking forward to the new build.

25.05.26:Full Disclosure of Gov scandal & MO/scam method of how staff are forging/cloning x3 sets of gov/customer records/accounts, complaints & identities -by CQC staff & rogue members of multi police, gov agencies-contact staff/officers/Doctors/GP's/x3 safeguarding teams (in person- at branches/stations- linked to my stolen home/title deeds/fraud addresses/HMCTS -inside scams) by phone/online & via x3 gov call centers for 101/999, IOPC/OPCC, x3 Council's, x3 Ombudsman, x2 Banks, x2 energy suppliers & NHS/ICB; for x3 HIOW GP's/x3 Hospitals: using 2 "complaint" email addresses from 2 different departments/systems- "Concerns & Enquires at cqc" & with&without the "hsi" in title for ICB; to cancel all formal complaints against rogue staff, starve the customer/victim of all gov public services/legal & political support networks, & assist with/aiding & abetting- to cover up (a family related/Neighbour) "20+ Multi Agency Public Services- community tag team- Organised Crime Group/Firm" /Money laundering, criminal misconduct/corruption, fraud, organised murders with police/GP cover up's, & Embezzlement against both- the targeted victims/customers (parent & child from birth born with mild Brain/Neuro-divergency)scammed/defrauded through their home, work, forged cloned bank accounts, HMRC, DWP & 20+ public services, & against the public services with forged multi gov funding & debt & loan- theft/scams to the rotating -fraud/cloned customer addresses & accounts; using the victims as subjects & scapegoats.

1) Staff (in person) CQC by phone- pretending to log case details & then refusing to confirm them a week later- telling you there is no report/complaint logged & to request a FOI/RTA in writing, & 2)using - x2 different email addresses with only one registered on the official gov website & refusing to validate the 2nd., forging x2 altered case numbers with x3 different Refs/CRM's for one case, & contacting the customer from the 2 emails/ x2 different complaint departments (creating x3 different email threads/records with one joint email) the other email add/case & CRM - refuses to log further details, evidence, investigate & gives false info; claiming that cqc do not log or investigate formal complaints, they only log reports of concerns for their own use & training purposes.(Gaslighting & fraud), the other email address with x2 Case numbers- asking for more info from you; they refuse to respond/confirm the advise from other email/staff; with all 3 accounts being used to cover up the "one" complaint by you & all details/evidence against rogue staff- causing the complaint to disappear, making it look like you refused to supply additional information within one set of records &/or they are being logged with forged details/addresses against our consent/knowledge & put through the court system against our stolen identities: portraying the perpetrators/gov staff with alias names of being the victims: I am being blackmailed by rogue HMCTS/Police/Council with x2 forged warrants against me- registered to 2 different accounts both without court stamp/staff name/signatures (01.10.25 & 14.04.26) when I was abducted from my home twice that has x14 forged addres's/accounts for the one Flat (& threatened with a third, & death threats against my family/arson to my home/x4-5 buildings if I continue to seek MP/LLP support networks) and 4 decades of illegal civil/criminal court cases with x3 sets of altered case details/names/addres's with forged daily debt charges (to my/family's- stolen home/altered title deeds) for each case number; with the perpetrators stealing homes, forging/cloning addresses, records, identities & cancelling my bills., conducting henious crimes-experiments/cell harvesting (& blocking GP/NHS treatment/forging Diagnosis) during repeated organised burglaries, & cloning, forging/erasing/replacing the police-crime reports using x3 sets of records/police company names after merger: HCIOW/HIOWC/HC.

CQC Staff pretended to log a complaint against a HIOW Hospital Doctors & x3 safeguarding Teams run by NHS/ICB on 09.10.25 & 16.10.25 who claims no records logged; & refuse to log 1 Hospital using two postcodes to forge patients records/signatures for forged Tribunal Court Cases, staff injury insurance scam claims, & blackmail/torture me with x3 sets of vilified medical records, treatment,abuse/erased cctv, x2 NHS Numbers/DOB & x3 of 14 fraud Addres's.

What else can you say about this organisation that hasn't been said already. Basically waste of time and money and worse thing is people are suffering and there's nowhere to go for help. The public just has to accept it.

Absolutely useless waste of time and space.....The CQC should be closed down as it serves no useful purpose.....
I made a complaint about St John's Hospice who cruelly put my Father on end of life care without our knowledge or consent as we only sent him there to give us two weeks financial respite as we had been self funding his private care...... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE.....
My Mother recently died horrifically after an unsafe discharge from the Wellington Hospital and bled to death less than a month of her discharge....... Reported to the CQC and again ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE!!.....Why does this sham of an organisation exist......I see mostly 1 star reviews which speaks volumes....

The CQC are not interested in investigating concerns regarding the quality or care of patients. It is certainly not independent/impartial as it is funded by the care providers themselves. The CQC is toothless government organisation that does nothing. The British public deserve a proper regulator.

BAD BAD BAD BAD incompetence incompetence in competence and competence absolutely Wasted Time useless people the wilderness spoke to about as miserable with anything bloody armous out you absolutely one out of a miserable woman.. CQC basically nothing but nothing really don't mean nothing on your side absolutely scan this useless blooming CQC just like the government..

How does this body manage to be paid for doing very little? The last reviews we have for our surgery are from 2019 and described as good. Really? With serious delays getting blood tests, seeing a GP, getting help with chronic conditions, how could that be possible?

CQC seems another toothless regulator and is not helping patients. It's a waste of tax payer DoH grants and what is the point having a body who is funded by the institutions they allegedly investigate? Only in neo-liberal Britain could this be so.

Very poor and dangerous outfit.

Pathetic tick box exercise. Five might turn up and not see abuse right under their noses. Not noticing residents had been in the lounge all day and not a single person was toileted all day. Not noticing that facilities were not appropriate for a nursing home. Not noticing that staff levels were inadequate but will hyperfocus on tiny details of medication administration. Jobsworths the lot of them.

CQC in my opinion are NOT working to protect the public, it fails to recognise peoples safety and issues raised by the public, there are no duty to the public, they do not communicate with the public, and do not follow up on any issues concerned.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is supposed to protect the public from unsafe and negligent health and social care services. My experience proves the opposite.

I reported serious negligence by my community mental health team, including the fact I had video evidence of failings. The CQC never asked to see it. How can a regulator investigate properly without requesting or reviewing evidence?

I also raised concerns about Chris Badger, formerly with Hertfordshire County Council Adult Care Services, where my mum was neglected to the point of suffering two hip fractures. Despite this track record, he is now part of the CQC, regulating the very kinds of services he worked for. This is a blatant conflict of interest — how can he be impartial when regulating former colleagues and departments?

This is not just poor regulation, it is systemic negligence. In my opinion, the CQC has breached its duty under:

The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 – particularly Regulation 12 (safe care and treatment) and Regulation 17 (good governance).

The Care Act 2014 – duty to protect adults at risk of harm and neglect.

When the CQC fails to regulate adequately, it puts lives at risk. Vulnerable people are left without protection, and families are left fighting legal battles to get justice. This should be classed as criminal negligence, not just “service failings.”

One more absolutely useless Government body: I got a call and an answer from them in a year! This organisation was listed as an addressee for a complaint procedure of "CastleView Dental", but after 350 days they answered me "We can help you in the Court". Why I am in the Court? Because the Dentistry used Portuguese team of Paulo Malo, when they had a hard time back home and their Institute changed hands. I came to them to get a service, paid substation amount of money and did not know it is illegal! But after Covid and Brexit everything changed, even the owner of CastleView Dental, who thinks he is not responsible for work of his associates. And I must prove my right of gettin a refund for not providing service in the Court. How can I prove, that I needed 4 visits to dentistry but not 40 (it is even logically unbearable). Yes, I am not suicidal, but I am almost died in 2021 and can't effectively communicate, especially during the Court hearing, where owners of Dentistry put the best barristers who dictated to Court what to do! Unbelievable!

How they get their ratings is a mystery. They rated my GP practice as "good", yet the reviews for the practice are anything but good. Personally, I've complained several times without any noticeable improvement.
The CQC are there to simply prop up the reputation of failing healthcare providers.

I reported serious concerns to the CQC, concerns which were well evidenced.

These regarding the CQCs failings as a regulator, the CQC marked their own homework and refused to investigate themselves.

Passing me off to the equally phoney PHSO. After looking at my concerns, remarkably, the PHSO handed me back to the CQC.

The CQC don't regulate or investigate concerns, they investigate those who make them.

Their job is to protect the NHS, by being complicit in their lies. Reputations first, patient safety is secondary.

Read the review on here, most are very accurate and mirror my experiences. In my opinion, you'd be better off making disclosures to the press or via social media.
