Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we are genuinely sorry that your second Creative Arcades purchase did not live up to your expectations. We especially understand your disappointment because you chose to purchase from us again in order to upgrade to a machine with the trackball.

We’re sorry for the extended wait for your machine, as well as the issues you encountered once it arrived. A trackball that isn't functioning properly and a damaged cabinet are certainly issues we would want addressed, and we understand how frustrating it must be to have a machine that you aren't able to enjoy.

We are also concerned to hear that you feel you have not received a resolution. Our goal is never for a customer to feel that they are on their own after a purchase. We have a dedicated technical support team, and we want the opportunity to review what happened with your machine and the previous service communications so we can determine what can be done to address the outstanding concerns.

We are very sorry to read about your experience, particularly because this purchase was intended to be a Christmas gift. We understand how disappointing it must have been to have planned around a promised delivery timeframe and then not have the machine arrive when expected.

We also understand your frustration with the communication you received regarding the status of your order. When we provide a customer with a production or shipping update, we need to make sure that information is accurate and that we communicate promptly if circumstances change. Based on what you've described, we clearly did not meet that expectation.

We are especially sorry that the machine was not picked up by the carrier until December 30th after you had been given earlier dates. We recognize that this resulted in a Christmas gift arriving—or potentially still being in transit—well after the date you were planning for.

We realize this review is from 2023, so we understand that the original order is no longer an active situation. That said, we still wanted to respond because we don’t want a customer’s experience to go unacknowledged simply because time has passed.

Waiting more than two months for an order and then not receiving the shipping confirmation you were expecting is understandably frustrating. Even if we can’t change what happened at the time, we can acknowledge that the experience described here was not the level of communication or service we want associated with Creative Arcades.

We recognize that this review is from 2023, but we still want to acknowledge what you experienced. Waiting three months for an order while repeatedly being told “just one more week” would understandably be incredibly frustrating. Most importantly, we’re sorry that you were put in a position where you had to keep reaching out for answers instead of receiving a clear and reliable update.

We’ve grown and changed considerably since 2023, but we don’t dismiss the experiences customers had during that time. Feedback like this is important because it highlights how much communication matters, especially when an order takes longer than expected. A delay is frustrating enough; being given repeated estimates that don’t come through only makes it worse.

We know this review is from 2023, but we still wanted to take the time to respond because the concerns you raised were very specific and understandable. Having approximately $6,000 charged to your card and then going weeks without an update would understandably make anyone nervous, especially after you were told your order was expected to ship within a week and then another three weeks passed without notification.

We especially understand your concern about communication. When a customer has made a significant purchase, they should not have to wonder what is happening with their order or repeatedly reach out just to receive an update. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding the delay, we recognize that the communication described in this review fell short of the experience we want our customers to have.

Although this is an older review and we realize the original order is no longer an active situation, we don't want to dismiss what happened simply because time has passed. Your feedback about billing and communication is something we take seriously, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

We realize this was posted back in 2023, but we still wanted to respond because your feedback was both fair and specific—and we appreciate that you recognized the quality of the cabinet and craftsmanship while also pointing out areas where we could have done better.

We’re especially sorry about the lack of communication and the missing documentation. When someone invests in a custom arcade machine, they shouldn’t have to figure out settings or troubleshooting on their own. The concern you described with the 32” HD display and blurry graphics is also something our team would have wanted the opportunity to troubleshoot with you, particularly since MAME display and filtering settings can affect how classic arcade games appear on modern HD screens.

At the same time, we genuinely appreciate your comments about the construction. Hearing that you found the cabinet professionally executed, with clean wiring, everything properly organized, and the games performing well means a lot to our team. That level of craftsmanship is something we continue to care deeply about.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide such detailed feedback, and although this review is from 2023, we wanted to acknowledge it because you clearly invested significant time trying to work through the issues with us.

We’re especially sorry that, after working with our team and going through multiple replacement cards, we were ultimately unable to get the games performing the way you expected. Having to troubleshoot the same machine repeatedly—only to find that some games still had visual, audio, or language issues—is understandably disappointing.

We also appreciate the distinction you made in your review: you noted that about half of the games worked quite well. However, we understand that doesn’t make the games that didn’t work properly any less frustrating, particularly when those may have been some of the titles you were most looking forward to playing.

One thing we value about your feedback is that you actually worked with our support team over an extended period rather than simply reporting the problem once. We’re glad our team continued sending replacement hardware and attempting different solutions, but we also recognize that ultimately getting a machine to “mostly work” is not the same as resolving the customer’s concerns. We should have done better in finding a satisfactory path forward.
