My Dremel would turn off after 10…

My Dremel would turn off after 10 seconds. It was a gift over a year ago. When I contacted them, they responded right away. I sent them a video of what it was doing and they replaced it. I couldn't be happier. Shout-out to Taylor ...the one who helped me. I definitely recommend this Dremel. It's perfect. Sandi

Great customer service.

Today I received my replacement engraving tool in the Netherlands. I very much appreciate Clara following through on her promise to send me a new engraver, after the first replacement tool got lost in the delivery process.

I had an issue with my Customizer engraving pen. Reached out to customer support and even though I was outside of my warranty I was promptly issued a replacement. Great company, great customer service! Thank you Culiau!

I am beyond measure satisfied with the…

I am beyond measure satisfied with the treatment I received from Carla, when I first ordered my Engraver I was not able to begin using it right away, finally my schedule settled down and I had time to return to the stuff I love to do "create art" I opened my Engraver and it didn't turn on😕, so I charged it overnight and still nothing.
I then followed the instructions on how to contact and connected with Carla😁she is so professional and kind that I am now holding my "New Replacement"🤩I truly am sharing my experience with friends and family.

Great customer support

I recently purchased a custom engraver and after I used it to engrave and finish a project on soapstone, it no longer worked. I tried everything I could to make sure i wasn't doing something wrong, before i contacted customer support. Clara replied immediatly. I requested that i didn't want my money back, but would like the custom engraver replaced. Clara asked me to send a video of the engraver and it's issues, and if they decided to replace it she would let me know. I sent the video, and imediately Clara from support, contacted me, and let me know they would replace the engraver. A few days later I recieved the replacement. In a world where customer service, or support doesn't exist, Clara was a godsend. I can't thank her enough for her professionalism in resolving my issue. And the timely manner for which it was done.

I'm pretty underwhelmed.

I'm pretty underwhelmed.
The pen is fine, however not really as powerful as the ads make it seem, and though the battery might last for about 2 hours, the pen loses significant power about 40 minutes in and then it takes forever for it to charge.
I'm very disappointed in their customer service. One of the bits I received was dull, it has no texture at all so obviously it doesn't work, also there were missing a hex key and carbide burr from the box.
I got no response when I contacted them through their website, it took several days before I got a response when I contacted them through their facebook, and by then I had finally found their e-mail address. The woman I then spoke with told me the bit wasn't suitable for wood, which was false, I called her out and she then apologised and said that she had then checked in with the product team. Why she didn't ask the product team before providing me with misinformation, makes it seem to me like she just wanted to make me stop complaining and/or that she doesn't even know the product. Even though I had sent videos and pictures of the bit she just dismissed it as being because of the surfaced I used it on. By then I gave up trying to get help as she clearly didn't care nor listened to me.

Not worth it

1- The promotional videos don't clearly specify that most of the bits shown in action (like the mini angle-grinder for stones) are sold separately. No disclaimer shown on that.

2- The extra bit set was nearly as expensive as the pen itself.

3- The extra bit set looked like it came from AliExpress. The same cheap bubble-wrap bag, no branding visible anywhere, the address sticker telling me it came from Shanghai.

4- Bad quality. After only a few days of use, the bits became rusty.

5- The batery only lasts for a few minutes.

6- After complaining to the customer service about all the above, they gave me a refund... of €8,33! That didn't even cover the shipping costs.

UPDATE:
After this review, they did offer me a full refund, and for that reason I'm now raising my review to 2 stars. My experience with the Customer Service team was positive, with quick replies and empathy from their part. However, if the product itself is subpar, Customer Service alone is not enough to make Culiau stand on its two feet.

Super Customer Support

I had some issues with an order for my engraving pen, and Culiao was “Johnny on the spot” with responding to me AND making everything right! Super impressed with this AMAZING customer service! I highly recommend them!

I purchased (2) engraving pens for…

I purchased (2) engraving pens for crafting and misc. then we noticed that one of the two devices would not power on. So after more than the 60 days past the purchase date had passed but Culiau rep notified me that they would replace the device free of charge. Customer service is something the public deals with daily throughout their lives and this is one of the top experiences i have ever had. I am and will be a customer for life....

The battery stopped working - replacement.

Sadly the battery stopped working. I used it once when I first received it then was on the move, and 6 months later it won’t turn on or fully charge and it’s out of warranty…so I thought it was essentially a disposable one use item and I was excited to play more.

However Culiau offered to send me a new unit, which I'm very happy about! Thank you!

Arrived promptly and with all the…

Arrived promptly and with all the extras I had ordered BUT I charged it up TO FULL and worked with it testing out different surfaces Plastic, paper, rubber for about 10 mins total, then the battery ran out. If the pen cannot hold a charge for more than 10 minutes of very light use then its no use to me. I have to say I'm very disappointed.

Culiau is an excellent partner

I've made a peculiar parkour with Culiau: after ordering 4 crucial items for our company's creative workshops, the package was lost by an external delivery company. The Culiau crew has directly engaged in investigating what happened within the delivery process - they also immediately sent another package with all 4 items of my order to meet my expectations as soon as possible. My interaction with the team was always very efficient, kind, understanding and extremely friendly. I'm looking forward to working with my new, artistic tools Xxx
