I’ve recently relocated from UK to Ireland bringing my car with me.
I initially asked for a customs declaration and the company reached out immediately to say I could apply for exemption instead, I said no because I naively believed the tax would be small enough to pay and I wanted it sorted , then the tax quote came through five times higher than I thought. So I had to call and ask to do the exemption instead. The company (Norma) was really kind and understanding, they processed the exemption document quickly and it was successful saving me thousands of euro.
Norma was amazing, responsive and knowledgeable I can’t thank her and the company enough for their help. It was also great value for money and took the stress off me.
