I have been a regular customer of CW menswear for a few years now and have consistently been blown away by the great service.

CW Menswear offer a wide variety of products and really appear to put their customers first. I would highly recommend.

This whole experience made me feel scammed. I don’t usually write reviews like this but wanted to warn fellow customers.

This company deliberately misleads you on their website so be very, very careful!

I did an order for 2 pairs of shoes which were more than £500 and the shipping in my invoice was free. When I returned the shoes, I was shocked to see £25 had been deducted from my refund. When I questioned this, I was told “original postage is deducted as per our terms and conditions”.

Clearly this is incorrect as the postage was ZERO in my bill and the original postage fee was never disclosed anywhere in my original order.

Also, a £25 shipping fee for 2 pairs of shoes seems very high!

I wouldn’t be surprised if they do this to a lot of unwitting customers and make a little profit on the side from this trick they play on customers.

Very disappointing experience and when I wrote to complain the owner of the company stopped replying to my emails. He knows what he’s doing and should be ashamed.

Definitely avoid this company, there are much better places out there nowadays that actually deserve our business!

21st June update: he is now accusing me of lying.. Wow! Really classy owner of a small business. You would think he would pick up the phone and try to resolve these issues the old school way rather than start a mud slinging contest. No thank you, that’s not my style. Just goes to show how careful you need to be when shopping online with unknown sellers.

I hope other shoppers read this and heed my caution.

Rose was amazing. Husband tall and mighty told on Wednesday before Bank Holiday that he had an interview for his dream job. Rose sorted out trousers and jacket and these not only fitted but arrived in time. He got the job Rose in no small part because of you! He felt confident in the outfit and you went above and beyond. A fabulous shopping experience. Can't recommend highly enough.

Ordered a Harris tweed flat cap. Item wasn't in stock. So the lovely rose ordered one in and shipped as soon as it came in stock. Arrived next day. Superb service. Rose was a delight to speak too, helpful informative and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service by Rose and the team. Harris Tweed trousers were perfect and bought to match a jacket and waistcoat I had already purchased from them some time ago. Despite me making a mistake with the order they corrected my mistake and shipped it very promptly. First class.

Dopo 25 giorni dall'ordine (!) mi è stato recapitato quanto acquistato (una coppola).
Devo subito dire che il prodotto lo giudico soddisfacente per la qualità dei materiali impiegati e per la corrispondenza della taglia.
Non posso dire altrettanto riguardo il packaging, consistente in una semplice busta di plastica.
Tuttavia, il vero punto dolente consiste nelle spese di sdoganamento che ho dovuto pagare al postino (20,40 euro, senz'alcuna ricevuta) dopo aver già pagato 15 sterline di spese di spedizione al momento dell'ordine.
Cosa ancor più strana è che pochi giorni prima ho ricevuto una sciarpa acquistata da un'Azienda con sede sempre in Scozia (Edinburgh) pagando soltanto 6,99 euro di spese di spedizione e assolutamente nulla per lo sdoganamento.
Diciamo che difettino chiarezza e certezza e che quindi sia controverso acquistare merce non proveniente dall'Unione Europea: meglio evitare.

Ordered a few times for my grandad and had only good experience with them would recommend, it's a small company so know what to expect, better customer service

they posted my expensive package without paying duties and charges which has delayed my delivery and wont have it for my wedding and not sure if i will ever get it now. worst ever experience

Surprised they have not gone out of business. They are no longer answering emails asking about their mysterious return policy, if indeed they have one.

Just brilliant and timely service. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

I purchased a suit from Colin White on the 08/10/2022 and noticed a quite frankly massive difference between online and instore price, I purchased in store at a cost of £555 where as online due to their retirement sale my cost would have been £456

Check online prices and compare to in store so you dont miss out on a discount

Ordered an 'in stock' size from their dropdown with greyed out unavailable items (sizes).
Order acknowledged.
Order subsequently apologised for (lack of stock) and alternative colours offered.

Complete waste of time.
No refund received yet.
Avoid.

I have ordered 3 tweed suits and two matching coats as well as a pair of Loake brogue boots. Rose has been fantastic sorting the order out, it was as though I was her only customer. I am delighted with the suits, coats and boots. I would dearly have liked matching Peaky Blinder caps, but they may be available soon. Would highly recommend, A* rating

I recently (March 2022) bought a tweed overcoat. Not only did I receive a discount, but it was post free. The coat is of usual Harris tweed quality and is just what I was looking for. I contacted their office to ascertain when it would arrive and it transpired as a day earlier. They were very polite and helpful and I would certainly use their services again.

As regards their returns / postage service, this is clearly stated on their website.

Very, very poor customer service
I ordered a tweed suit from them and they delivered in around a week
It wasn’t the greatest of fits so I e-mailed them about returning it (they had not provided any returns note in the package)
I got not response so I e-mailed them again a week later and another week after that, all with no reply (I have the e-mail server logs so know they were delivered)
Eventually I spoke to them and they promised to look in to it and return my call the same day
4 days later, after no return call, I sent the suit back by Royal Mail, recorded and insured
Now they call me claiming they won’t refund because it took longer than 30 days, even though I had e-mailed them 3 times within a couple of weeks
I feel that they just ignored the e-mails in the hope I wouldn’t return it
I have had to escalate this as a fraudulent payment, thankfully I paid via PayPal so have some protection and cover
If I’d paid by another means I might have been left with no other recourse than the small claims court

Avoid them at all cost, they are very, very poor

Worst company I have ever dealt with.
Absolutely awful customer experience.
Bought shoes online which were too tight but they refused to take them back, despite the fact that they had been worn for 5 minutes ( to try on for size)

Shocking experience with this company. They lie and steal, the person on support Rose asked for a product to returned due to a fault which they agreed and then never returned the money and you guessed it, she stopped replying to emails once received.

Deplorable way to do business, you are an untrustworthy thief!
