I cannot recommend the Dawn Practice enough.
The care and understanding I recieved was first class.
And the treatment has help so very much.

We recently arranged an educational psychology assessment for our son through The Dawn Practice, and we were extremely pleased with the service provided by Sabella throughout the entire process.

From the outset, the process was efficient and well organised. Sabella was able to accommodate multiple appointments during the school holiday period, allowing the assessment to be completed quickly without compromising on quality. This was greatly appreciated, as it enabled us to gain clarity and support much sooner than we had anticipated.

One of the aspects that stood out most was Sabella’s engagement with our son. Although some of the assessment tasks were challenging for him, he genuinely enjoyed the process and looked forward to attending. This speaks volumes about the welcoming, supportive and child-friendly environment that Sabella created, helping him feel comfortable and confident throughout.

Communication was excellent at every stage. Sabella kept both myself and my partner fully informed throughout the assessment process and produced a comprehensive draft report very promptly. The findings were explained in a clear and accessible way, and we were given plenty of opportunity to ask questions and discuss both the outcomes and potential next steps.

The report has already had a meaningful impact. It has helped us better understand our son’s needs, make adjustments to our approach at home, and advocate for additional support and adjustments within school as he prepares to transition into high school.

We have also been grateful for Sabella’s ongoing support after the assessment was completed. When further external assessments were being considered, she was quick to provide additional documentation and a supporting letter outlining the rationale for these investigations, which was extremely helpful.

Overall, we have been delighted with the service provided by Sabella and The Dawn Practice. The assessment process was professional, thorough, efficient and supportive throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend The Dawn Practice to other families seeking educational psychology assessment and support for their children.

I contacted The Dawn Practice following a late ADHD diagnosis, seeking support to process the impact of living for decades with undiagnosed ADHD. I wanted help understanding how my brain works, addressing the trauma associated with years of being misunderstood and developing practical strategies to manage the challenges of everyday life as a neurodivergent person.
From the very beginning, Laura provided a compassionate, supportive, and non-judgemental space where I felt truly heard. Through our sessions and the additional assessments I undertook, I have gained invaluable insight into how my mind works. I had a great experience with using the resources that the dawn practice offer highly recommend it if you and or your child is is seeking a diagnosis of adhd or autism or if your need counselling there great also for that too.

We looked very carefully at several clinics before choosing this clinic to assess our son for Autism and ADHD. From the very first chat over the telephone before our appointment, to the final discussion the staff were fabulous. Vicki was so kind caring and professional and it was obvious that her knowledge of ASD/ADHD was second to none. Both the GP and school commented that the report was the best they had seen for this type of assessment.
I can thank herself and Camilla for the support they gave to my son and ourselves and I would highly recommend this clinic for assessment.

I have had a few years of really great experiences here. Firstly with my two audhd childrens assesments and diagnosis that has led onto them getting the educational and health support that they need.
Laterly I have been assesed and diagnosed in 2024 with Dr Roy for my own adhd and finally with Dr Laura Brougham this month for my ASD assesment and diagnosis.
All of the team are very thorough and proffesional, experienced and very kind.

Its a daunting journey made all the better with their care and attention.

Dr Brougham has went on to provide an in depth anyalisis of me that will help me understand why certain things are very hard for me.. she has also recommened a specialist therapist who specilaises in the areas of support that will benefit me the most in months and years to come.

I would highly recommend Dawn Practise and all of the team there.
The admin team are very helpfull and kind too.
