Package arrived with the contents spilled in the box, and when I opened the box the content spilled from the box onto the kitchen floor.
So no idea how much of the content was actually lost during transportation.
DesiMe replied sorry for the inconvenience.
They were supposed to raise this and get back to me. This was around 17th march 2026. Still waiting to hear if I'm getting any sort of compensation.

Nicely packaged and superb quality

I had this as soup years ago while travelling, found it on Desime and it really brought back memories, lovely sauce and dumplings.

"I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent grocery order. While the website showed all items as 'available' at the time of purchase, my delivery was far from complete.
Inside the box, I found a note stating that three of my ordered items were out of stock and would be refunded. This is misleading, as the site confirmed availability , Several other items I ordered were substituted with different products without any prior notification or my consent. I did not agree to these alternatives.
I am entitled to receive the goods as described. Since the order was not fulfilled as agreed, I am claiming a full refund for the three missing items and the unauthorised substitutions. I expect this to be processed immediately."

Shopping online with Desime was excellent, they have nice collection of ‘desi foods’ customers service is very friendly and helpful.

Great experience. I ordered first time, was a bit confused but they delivered the order in time as promised and everything was fresh and packed appropriately, even frozen items. Highly recommended.

This is the second order from Desime that they have fulfilled incorrectly. I am convinced this is not a company that cares about its customers. The meat was delivered without being cut up and so it was impossible to cook the huge chunks. The previous order, a paid for item was completely missed.

Beware this company is a scammer, i bought whole sheep which they mention 26 to 30kg but i received 17 kg so i contacted them so first of all they said because of cleaning and cutting it came to 17kg so i asked how it is possible minus 9 to 13 kg just for cleaning and cutting but they don't accept their fault so I opened dispute with paypay and then they told me we will send you 7 kg mutton if i close the dispute so asked 10kg and they agreed but as soon i close the dispute they never reply to me so i lost almost £80 because of this scammer company. And their meat are not fresh as well so better to buy from other as there are other honest butcher shops who are honest.

Ordered 2nd of Jan for delivery today. No updates whatsoever, nor am I getting any responses from my emails. Don’t order from them.

Unfortunately not the greatest l have not yet received this parcel it’s almost 3 weeks now lm still waiting. I have emailed the seller, and l have not had any response as to what’s happening with my order number 8925.
