HALEY, THE REPERSENTATIVE I SPOKE TO WAS WONDERFUL. THE PRODUCT WAS MUCH THE SAME AS OTHERS, I FELT GOOD VALUE. HALEY WAS THE REASON I CHOSE DIRECT GAP, HELPFUL, OPEN AND FUNNY. I HAD ALSO SPOKEN WITH ANOTHER COLLEAGUE BEFOR THEY WERE ALSO VERY PATIENT WHICH IS WHY I CALLED BACK.

Spoke with Haley, the GAP Insurance advisor today. Very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining my options. Haley had a very nice manner and was extremely polite and courteous. If you need GAP insurance these are the people to speak to.

So far not a good experience. Both days over the W/E when I asked for a quote I got a 404 notice saying the page wasn’t available. Today I can get an online quote but the example and the policy wording seem to contradict each other. Rang at 5.15pm to get clarification but the answer machine said they are closed but also said their opening hours are 9am to 6pm and the website says their same. Not sure what is going on.

Has anyone had to claim from this company? If so is the claims handling like this too? Any comments would be much appreciated.

Very helpful staff, made an initial enquiry on line but wished to clarify a few details. So I telephoned and was able to talk to an actual person who gave clear explanations and provided me with the cover I needed easily and quickly over the phone. My policy was in my inbox all in less than 15 minutes, excellent.

I purchased a new vehicle where the manufacturer does not provide a GAP insurance. I am already an existing customer with Direct GAP and purchased a new policy. Website straight forward to understand and when I rang up I was connected straight away to a helpful advisor. If you buy a car on finance worth having a GAP insurance. A close family member had a GAP policy and a week before the expiry date their car was written off as a result of a car accident. Their GAP policy paid out.
