purchased an adding machine which turned out to be inadequate for our needs. We required a faster more substantial machine. After contacting them, they refused point blank to accept return of the machine because the box had been opened. How else could we have tested it? They even stooped to using Covid-19 as a reason for being unable to take it back. So we have bought the bigger machine we wanted elsewhere. Won't be using Ruffles again.

I have ordered 2 Kobra shredding machines from this company.

They may be the only company that supplies them in the UK.

After using countless other shredding machines that were not up to the job I would thoroughly recommend this machine as a fantastic workhorse.

Service has always been excellent in terms of delivery times / additional invoices.

Would highly recommend the shredding machine & supplier.

Ordered through office machines only to find after placing order that their website is run by Don Ruffles Ltd.
Called company today to speak about warranty, the man was extremely rude and abrupt and put the phone down on me because i dared to be as abrupt with him, sure his mother must be super proud of him.would AVOID this company and any links to it

AVOID!!! We had an autofeed shredder from Don Ruffles. There was an issue with it and as it was under a year old it should have been a warranty claim.
They flat out refused it was a warranty claim and said it was down to misuse. The gear had broken, They said we had over filled it.... There is a fill line which can't be overloaded or the lid wouldn't shut. They also said it was clogged with paper dust, However, If we had been able to actually get to the inner we could clear it but this machine was all encased and we would have to unscrew the thing to actually get to it which would have voided the warranty anyway.

They have several companies so be careful who you choose.

Refused to deal with a faulty laminator less then 6 months old. Said consumer law didn't apply business to business.. never heard so much rubbish in my life. as a result lost our future business.. as per the reviews below customer service is just awful!

Purchased a laminator through this company. The laminator was not suitable for our use as this machine needed to be attended the whole time. No where on the specification does it state this. We required a machine that fed A3/A4 paper through and then waited until we were ready to input the next sheet. We sent the item back and requested a credit note so we could purchase a more suitable laminator from them but they have declined any refund or exchange, as the box was slightly damaged in transit and they say that they can not resell this product. The manual has a slight rip in but this is how this came to us. The company sent through some more suitable laminators for us to view and purchase but due to the non helpful staff I will not purchase another item from this company. I would think twice before purchasing from this company because if there is an issue it probably will not get resolved.

Ordered a competitively priced Fellowes 62MC Deskside Shredder plus shredder oil, waste bags and sharpening / lubrication sheets.

Shredder arrived just a few days later via a parcel delivery and the oil and bags via Royal Mail shortly after that.

As the sharpening / lubrication sheets not in the Royal Mail delivery and didn't arrive in the days afterwards I rang up Don Ruffles, explained the situation and immediately got an apology and told the lubrication sheets would be sent out in the post. They duly arrived a few working day later.

Products that are in-stock for 1-2 working days delivery are actually out of stock. I've placed an order on Sunday, no one contacted me back. I called on Tuesday to see what's going on. First person promised to call back. I didn't picked up the call, I called back, I was hanged up on, I called once again and I was told that this item will be dispatched within _A MONTH_.

Ridiculous. I will never place an order again and if you are looking for a good service and timely delivery you should not do it to!
