Such a great shop and a wonderful experience. I was totally out of my depth chosing a dress for an event and the team were so helpful and helped me chose the perfect one!

I loved my afternoon at the Dress Studio - I was waited on helpfully & warmly from the moment I arrived by a very helpful young lady. She explained all the sizing of the dresses and the layout of the store
to me and then she did the most important thing - she left me to browse; she didn’t swamp me or fuss over me unnecessarily. She checked in on me a few times helpfully & was close by when I needed help with zips etc. I left with the most beautiful dress, confident that no one else would be wearing the same gown at the event I attended. The dresses are stunning, sensibly priced with lots of options for various sizes and ages (it’s not just for beauty pageants & school balls - I’m in my 40s and there were plenty of options). My experience at the Dress Studio was 10/10.

I’ve been to the dress studio several times and I can’t wait to visit again this week!

It’s the only dress shop I’ve ever been to where the staff are friendly and you don’t feel pressured to buy even after trying on. The staff genuinely want what’s best for you and couldn’t do enough to help.

The selection of dresses is unbelievable and I’ve always found one (if not more) dresses that I adore. I can’t wait to come home with one later this week 😍

We came in on Sunday to pick a prom dress, it was quite busy but at no time where we made to feel pressured or rushed. My daughter tried several dresses on with the assistant getting her more if she needed them. When we finally chose a dress, the refund and deposit policy was made clear to us. The dress was steamed while we waited and checked to make sure it was in a perfect condition. The lady on front of us was given the option to change the dress when they found a minor pluck in the hem, so I felt confident they were checking them properly. I would recommend dress studio to anyone.

The dress studio is the best place to find your dream dress for special events or competitions.

I found my gorgeous green ball gown for a pageant i was competing in and which I am going to wear for prom (it was like love at first sight)

The staff were funny, friendly & lovely and they couldn't do enough for me.

They took the dress into the changing room and i tried it on and came out to look in the mirror I knew it was for me.

When buying the dress the staff checked it over to make sure everything was perfect and suitable to buy.

For anyone thinking about going to look for prom/pageant dresses that are comfortable and affordable for all price ranges and also are suitable for anyone who are any size I definitely recommend the dress studio.

We have visited this shop on a couple of occasions and both times we have purchased dresses, there is a ‘Wow factor’ when entering the Studio, with rows of amazing dresses in a section of colours, prices are from budget to premium also various sizes. The staff are approachable and friendly, offering advice on sizing and styles, we travel from Mid Wales to go to this amazing shop and the location is ideal with plenty of parking.

The dress studio is an immensly supportive shop which not only provides budget friendly, stunning dresses which cater to all your desires, the incredible staff ensure every girl leaves feeling inspired and excited for whatever occasion their purchase is for.

The dresses are remarkable with all colours imaginable available AND at varied price points. There is a team ready to dedicate as long as necessary to help you find your dream dress.

The environment is family-like, empowering, and kind! In my opinion, no other dress store remotely compares. If you are looking for a positively memorable experience whilst dress hunting, I would 1000% recommend The Dress Studio! :)

We have always had the very best personalised bespoke service when picking a dress at The dress Studio.
Nothing is ever to much for the girls and they will cater to your every need. You have a vast area of changing rooms, the most instagramable back drops, with pics taken for FREE !! you literally do not lift a finger.
The kindess most helpful girls are based here, if you have no idea what you are looking for they will guide you through their vast selection of unreal gowns.
This experience is almost definately fit for a QUEEN.

I’ve been shopping with The Dress Studio since 2014 and their customer service has only got better. It’s never an issue sourcing me the correct size or dealing with my changing of mind. I’m forever grateful for Holly and the team. There is always so many options in store for all body shapes and this is so important to me as a customer.

The team here are truly amazing! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, there are so many dresses to choose from - literally hundreds! Cant recommend enough.

Beware overpriced samples! I took my daughter to look for a dress, she picked a beautiful dress, I went to pay and thought they would order me a new dress but no you get the sample dress, which had a dirty and pulled hem. My daughter is adopted and suffers with high anxiety and became completely overwhelmed, so to not upset her I paid the deposit, as I had seen they have a price promise. The cost of the dress was £595, I have found the same dress with free delivery on mydressline.com for £418:50 and it would be a brand new clean dress. I have contacted the shop and explained this. I was unfortunately told in a very patronising way that I could purchase the dress from the cheaper site if I wanted, but they would only give me 50% of my deposit back (£100). I listened politely to the manager, as she tried to validate the price difference (pay postage etc) but when I spoke I was spoken down to, and told I was being unfair. I feel ripped off!!! please look elsewhere before you purchase, as there are lots of shops that will order you a new dress or you can by the sample dress for a discount. Lovely shop but not worth almost £200:00 more for a sample dress.

On entering the Dress Studio today we were made to feel really welcome by the assistant who explained to us the process - you choose the dresses then hand to the assistants who take your name/school then take them upto the fitting rooms ready for you to try.

My daughter looked around and picked out two dresses, she handed them to one of the assistants who took my daughters name and the school that she attends.. she said they will be waiting for you to try when your ready.

After approx 5 minutes we went upstairs to the fitting rooms excited to see how they would look and both the dresses were missing

She then asked several more assistants where the dresses had gone from the rail - they were searching round for the dresses for a while when finally we were given the reason that one of the dresses had already been purchased by the school my daughter attends (assistant was unsure of the school when we asked so wasn’t convinced by this at all) the other dress nobody knew where it was!!

I went back down stairs to look for the dress and saw one of the assistants with it over her arm.. I thought great she’s found it and was bringing it up for my daughter to try but when I approached her she said ‘sorry it has been picked by somebody else’

What an absolute joke!!

I drove from Stockport especially to let my daughter have an ‘experience’ to remember when choosing her prom dress

It was a shambles!!!

Disappointing, upsetting and a complete waste of time!

What was supposed to be a lovely experience was anything but!
I will NEVER recommend Dress Studio to anyone

Getting it just right!
Took my 16 Yr old to look for a prom dress - warm welcome at the door, quick efficient run thru of how they work…choose 3/4 dresses to try - none were right. Sensing our unease, Hannah stepped in to offer a little support & guidance. No pressure whatsoever to buy today, really friendly assistants & great ability to boost my daughter’s confidence & guide us to the right choice for her. Thanks to all, especially lovely Hannah who went above & beyond. Thank you 😊 x
