Scrivo per dare speranza agli altri clienti. Oggi in data 15/10/2025 mi hanno rimborsato con bonifico istantaneo 900 euro di caparra dopo che ho mandato una valanga di mail sia a vip cars (motore di ricerca che ho usato per la prenotazione), sia a booking. Alla fine mi hanno detto che l'indirizzo a cui scrivere era claims chiocciola driverse punto rent. In bocca al lupo a tutti!

Recently hired a car from Tivat airport, Montenegro. Having read the reviews after booking, I was more than a little concerned but I have to say, the whole process was absolutely fine. The office is in a weird little back room behind some garages and not too easy to find but they sent a helpful whatsapp video of how to get there from the terminal. The man who handed over the keys was nice, spoke very good English and did not try to upsell insurance when I said I'd already purchased some through a third party. Also made sure that the deposit on my credit card was a temporary hold and not an actual charge, so that was fine. The car itself was a bit battered and made a few odd sounds but honestly, who cares. It cost us about €10 per day so I can hardly complain and it got us around for 10 days without issues. Upon return, there was nobody in the office so I had to send a video via whatsapp of the car and leave the keys inside it but got confirmation there and then that it was all ok and that my deposit hold would be returned to my credit card. Upon checking 10 minutes later, it had disappeared from my pending transactions entirely so seems to have been returned immediately. Overall, for the absolute bargain money, it was a surprisingly good experience.

The worst car rental company in Europe!!
They will take your deposit and not return it to you, despite the car you brought back being in perfect condition.

Betrug ist vor Programmiert ziehen die kaution von der Kreditkarte ab anstatt zu blocken. Habe ein Auto vom 31.07.2025 bis 14.08.2025 gemietet und 1200 Euro Kaution bezahlt heute 05.10.2025 noch nicht wieder bekommen. Erspart euch den Ärger lasst es einfach sein. Ach übrigens nach einen Monat scheinen ihn die ausreden auszugehen sie antworten nicht mehr so das ich jetzt Strafanzeige stellen werde.

I am very disappointed with this car rental company. It has been over a month since I returned the car, and I still haven’t received my refund. I have contacted them several times, but nothing has been resolved. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Ribadisco, sono dei ladri..assolutamente da evitare. Il mio deposito di 900€ è sparito e non rispondono più(macchina riconsegnata il 12 luglio). Mi hanno risposto alla recensione precedente ma mi confondono con qualcunaltro, quindi non sanno neanche con chi stanno parlando. Vergogna

We rented a car in Athens on August 1st. They didn't meet us at the airport until we called after waiting half an hour. The car didn't have any gas, even though the reserve was full/full. We had to put in oil because it didn't have any either. Seven weeks later, they haven't returned the deposit of €1,400, nor have they returned the payment for the oil. The contact number isn't available. I'm giving one star because it can't be given a zero.

All went smooth ,nothing to complain ,brand new Peugeot 208 ,with 7000kms on the clock ,used my credit card and money were released after 25 days as indicated in the rental agreement. Our card was credit and we didnt have any issues at all but in any case you have the option to pay a bit more for full insurance and no need to worry about the money blockage .As i said,brand new cars which is the important in a car rental business.

It's a scam. They take 900€ from you, tell you that you will receive them in 30 days. Haven't received anything, they do not respond, they disappeared with the money. Do the right thing and avoid this company at all costs. I'll sue them with the lawyers to receive the 900€ back at this point..

I wish I had seen these reviews before going to this extremely unprofessional car company that treated us like shit. WE ARE 3 MONTHS IN AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY EFFING MONEY!!! They keep giving the bs excuse of “I’ve sent this matter to accounting and waiting for them to send receipt”. Like wtf? A deposit done with a credit card, much better returned they the credit card. They are still in asking to provide an IBAN which is not the form of reterned payment should be. The And actually this was supposed to be an hold not a an actual transaction.

Also, Closer to the end of the trip the window buttons did not work, they said it was my fault and had to pay $300+ euros. The buttons just stopped working!!! It’s not a user error when it’s mechanical.

I want my money!!!! I swear I’m bringing in my lawyer. This is no joke. That’s a big amount of money and I’m not letting this case rest

AVOID the dealer Drive365 (otoQ) in Greece - Scammer and dishonest !!!
The car dealer has not/did not want to refunded the deposit for the deductible!!! I had to wait more than 3 months !!! and send numerous emails.
They didn’t want to refund it, even after several email requests and after I had already sent different (all) documents and they kept asking for more.
They are never reachable by phone and emails are only answered after weeks.

I had booked with Drive365Car Rental in Crete, Greece on 1st August 2025. Its been 45 days since i returned the car in perfect condition and the company agent confirmed the same and said the deposit amount will be refunded in 30 days. All attempts to contact the company executive has failed as they don't pick your calls or respond to messages. I also emailed the company to no avail or response. This is a serious issue now as 900 Euros has been debited from my card instead of just blocking the amount as is the general practice with rental cars. This kind of delay in refunding the deposit amount is totally not acceptable and necessary steps need to be taken by the company to revert the amount at the earliest. Non saprei da dove iniziare:
dopo 30 minuti si sono presentati all'aeroporto, auto con ruote sgonfie e sistema in allarme, alla riconsegna volevamo farmi lasciare l'auto incustodita e li ho aspettati per 30 minuti, correndo poi per non perdere il volo. la cosa peggiore è che ben 1 mese dopo la riconsegna mi hanno addebitato 300€ per la pulizia dell'auto perché sporca di sabbia (cosa normale in un isola). INOLTRE NON RISPONDONO NE ALLE EMAIL NE AL SERVIZIO CLIENTI (CARJET COME INTERMEDIADIO, UN'ALTRA COMPAGNIA TERRIBILE)

PESSIMI, ho iniziato la mia mozione con la mia banca.

Mala experiencia. El contrato no indica que la tarjeta deba ser física ni que la única opción sin ella sea pagar un seguro adicional de 21 €/día. A las 3:30 de la madrugada la oficina no ofreció otra solución ni cancelación gratuita, forzándonos a pagar 189 € extra. El problema fue técnico: el datáfono no tenía contactless, no un incumplimiento por mi parte. Falta de transparencia y trato poco flexible. No repetiría

Hanno dimenticato la nostra prenotazione e soprattutto cosa più grave, sono trascorsi quasi 3 mesi e non abbiamo ancora ricevuto indietro i soldi della cauzione.

Bugiardi!! Non ho pagato con carta di debito, ma di credito come testimoniano tutti i miei documenti che purtroppo qui non posso allegare. Nel contratto c'è scritto chiaramente bloccati, non sottratti!!. Impossibile parlare con voi, non rispondete mai. Dove sono i miei soldi??? È da tre mesi che dovete ridarmeli!!! Perché rubate i soldi alle persone???? Chi vi autorizza a rubare e rimanere impuniti???

My booking was under Ben K.
Under similar circumstances to previous reviews this company is trying to steal our deposit. We returned the car at the end of June and STILL have not been reimbursed for our 900 euro deposit. Why is this taking so long? It has now been nearly 3 months. The next step will be contacting local police. Please return our money! This is awful treatment and not how you treat customers. We still have all the singed documents stating we should be receiving out money!

It has now been over two months since you charged €900 to my card as a deposit, and despite multiple reminders, the amount has not been refunded. This is unacceptable and a clear breach of contract. My booking was D010991988. Athens Airport, with OtoQ.

If the full refund is not credited to my account within 24 hours, I will proceed tomorrow to file an official police report and open a formal dispute with my bank. In addition, I will escalate the matter to the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net) and take all necessary legal steps to recover the funds.

This is your final opportunity to resolve the situation amicably.
