Bugiardi e ladri!!!!!!!

Bugiardi!! Non ho pagato con carta di debito, ma di credito come testimoniano tutti i miei documenti che purtroppo qui non posso allegare. Nel contratto c'è scritto chiaramente bloccati, non sottratti!!. Impossibile parlare con voi, non rispondete mai. Dove sono i miei soldi??? È da tre mesi che dovete ridarmeli!!! Perché rubate i soldi alle persone???? Chi vi autorizza a rubare e rimanere impuniti???

Hello,

My booking was under Ben K.
Under similar circumstances to previous reviews this company is trying to steal our deposit. We returned the car at the end of June and STILL have not been reimbursed for our 900 euro deposit. Why is this taking so long? It has now been nearly 3 months. The next step will be contacting local police. Please return our money! This is awful treatment and not how you treat customers. We still have all the singed documents stating we should be receiving out money!

Security deposit of 900 euros stolen

Dear Drive 365,

It has now been over two months since you charged €900 to my card as a deposit, and despite multiple reminders, the amount has not been refunded. This is unacceptable and a clear breach of contract. My booking was D010991988. Athens Airport, with OtoQ.

If the full refund is not credited to my account within 24 hours, I will proceed tomorrow to file an official police report and open a formal dispute with my bank. In addition, I will escalate the matter to the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net) and take all necessary legal steps to recover the funds.

This is your final opportunity to resolve the situation amicably.

You get what you pay for

I booked a hire car through Drive365 who then reserved the car with OtoQ at Orlando International Airport. I ordered a 7 seater Toyota Highlander or similar. I was allocated a 5 seater SUV and was told that there was nothing OtoQ could do about it apart from cancel my reservation. I had paid extra for a larger car. I was sent correspondence with 4 different company names on: discover cars, drive365, Next cars and OtQ which was really confusing. I was sent a text saying that the shuttle arrives every 10 minutes to collect from MCO which is completely untrue. We waited 40 mins and OtoQ didn't answer their phone when I called. The excess was an enormous $5,500 despite the paperwork saying that it was meant to be $1000. Michael, the man that dealt with our car hire, was entirely unapologetic and took no accountability for the mistake. He was even quite put out that I was cross about the situation and told me I was just tired!! The value of the car was amazing and the car I received was actually a very nice car. But I would use with extreme caution.

By far the worst rental company

By far the worst rental company I have ever dealt with. At Sarajevo Airport they refused to give me a car because their system kept rejecting my credit cards – both of which work everywhere else. They didn’t allow me to insert the card, offered no real alternatives, and even refused cash. In the end I was left with no car and no refund.

Even worse, their damage policy is pure fraud: they charge €1,400 no matter what – whether it’s a tiny scratch or even if the damage wasn’t your fault. You pay anyway. This company are nothing but scammers and cheats. Avoid them at all costs.

In order to avoid any misunderstanding, I would like to provide a few clarifications.
First of all, based on our Terms & Conditions, one of the mandatory requirements in order to finalize the rental, is the deposit amount in order to protect the vehicle for any possible issues. We use a secure online pre-authorization system requiring 3D Secure authentication.
After spending over 90 minutes attempting to process your deposit using multiple cards, unfortunately, all attempts were unsuccessful. Additionally, we offered a compliant cash deposit alternative through a travel package, which was also declined.
Overall, we have made avery possible action in order to assist you accordingly though all attemts were either unsuccessful or declined.

We regret any inconvenience caused and remain at your disposal for further clarifications.

Stealing my deposit

We used VIP cars website to book a car rental with drive365 car rental. They demanded thst we had to pay a £800 pound deposit. This was taken out of our account on the 16th of June and they have not returned the deposit despite the car returning just as good as we left it and promises that we will have the money returned it has been 2 months wish no sight of the money. Absolutely outrageous.. a scam company. DO NOT USE!

À FUIR ABSOLUMENT : AGENCE VOLEUSE ET ESCROQUERIE ORGANISÉE

Comme de nombreux autres clients, mon dépôt de garantie de 1 400 €, censé être une simple empreinte bancaire, a été directement prélevé.
Le véhicule a pourtant été restitué en parfait état, avec un état des lieux validé.

Résultat : plus de 2 mois sans remboursement, malgré des dizaines d’appels ignorés et des centaines de mails restés sans réponse.

Aujourd’hui, une procédure judiciaire est en cours pour récupérer mon argent.

Cette agence ne se contente pas d’être négligente : elle pratique des méthodes qui s’apparentent à du vol pur et simple.

To help clarify and avoid any confusion, we’d like to note that, in line with international car rental standards, security deposits can only be held (pre-authorized) on credit cards. Unfortunately, this is not possible with debit cards, which is why the deposit must be charged directly when a debit card is used.
While our official policy requires a credit card, we sometimes make exceptions and accept debit cards as a courtesy, to support customers who may not be aware of this requirement and to help them avoid being left without a vehicle. However, in such cases, the refund process can take longer due to banking limitations that are beyond our control.

Avoid Drive365 – €900 Deposit Not Refunded

I rented a car from Next Deal E.E. (Drive365) in Athens (June 25–28, 2025) via DiscoverCars.com. A €900 deposit was taken with the clear agreement that it would be refunded within 30 days. That deadline passed, and despite multiple follow-ups, I received no refund and no proof of payment.

The car was returned in pristine condition and with a full tank — even though it was handed over to me with less than half a tank. Despite this, the company withheld my deposit.

They blamed a “system error,” requested my IBAN/SWIFT details (which I provided on August 11), and then claimed they had forwarded the matter to accounting. As of today, nothing has been refunded.

I am not alone — other reviews show similar complaints about unreturned deposits.
This is not a company I would ever trust again. Avoid at all costs.

THEY SCAMMED US FOR DAMAGE

As soon as we returned the car they pointed underneither the car saying we scratched a plastic bumper. It was an absolute joke, they wearn't even subtle about it. They made us pay 205 euro while threatening it could be 1000 euro. They then kept my $2000AUD bond for 2 months.

There was indeed damage caused to the vehicle upon its return, specifically to the plastic bumper, which is why the charge was applied. All relevant documentation regarding the damage was provided to you in writing, and we also shared this information with your insurance company to support the claim.
As per the rental agreement and our Terms & Conditions, which are accepted by all clients before completing their reservation, any damage caused during the rental period is the renter’s responsibility.
We followed our policy accordingly in this case.

A FUIR!!!!!

Nous avions réservé via Vip cars une petite voiture type corsa pour 150 euros 7 jours.mais,sur place,l'employé nous dit que,en laissant le contrat tel quel,à la moindre griffe,on perdra notre caution de 900 euros!!Nous devons donc prendre leur assurance fullprotection à un prix prohibitif de 50 euros par jour!Total 520 euros pour 7 jours voiture type corsa car en plus ils vous roulent sur le change!A fuir impérativement

Still waiting on deposit £1200 refund!!!

I rented a car with Drive365 in July. The return inspection report was confirmed clear, and I was told my £1,200 deposit would be refunded within 30 days. It’s now well past that timeframe and I still haven’t received the refund. I’ve contacted the company but have not been given a clear resolution.

A rental company should process deposit returns promptly and transparently — this experience has been frustrating and disappointing.

Terrible company

Terrible company. I rented a car June 1st and still have not received my deposit back. I was charged a €1400 deposit which was charged to my credit card. They will tell you that you will see the money back after 30 days. It’s now been almost 3 months. This is a fraud and you should not book with them. They’ve stopped responding to my emails as well.
We’re attempting to dispute the charge with our credit card company so hopefully we’ll get our money back

drive365 ........mai più!!

ho noleggiato un auto con drive365 all'aeroporto di Heraklion, il giorno della riconsegna dell'auto, il personale incaricato non si è fatto trovare sul posto per riconsegnare l'auto. ho chiamato diverse volte e mandato messaggi su whatzzap, avvisandoli che avrei dovuto anticipare l'ora della consegna per un volo in partenza. non si è presentato nessuno, sono stato costretto a lasciare l'auto nel parcheggio di fronte l'aeroporto ed a portare con me, in Italia, le chiavi dell'auto, in quanto non vi era una apposita cassetta dedicata alla drive365 dove lasciarle.
Spero non si inventino danni o altro all'auto e che non mi addebitino delle spese, perchè ho tutta una completa documentazione fotografica e video, sia al ritiro che dopo la consegna dell'auto.
attendo la restituzione della cauzione!!

Unfortunately, no written notice of an earlier return was received and our representative was not informed of any such change upon delivery of the vehicle.
Additionally, as also clearly stated in our rental agreement, the vehicle keys must be returned on time and in person. In cases where keys are taken abroad or lost, penalties may apply.

Very unserious company ! Avoid at all !

I got a pre paid voucher for this company (rent a car) in Heraklion , and guess what , nobody showed up to pick me up. They did not respond to any calls or e-mail. I waited for almost 2 hours and at the and i understood nobody is coming. At the end i got the luggage and find a car in front of airport.

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company, they corner you into taking out their extra insurance at a cost of €600+ and if you don’t they will tell you your credit card doesn’t work as they refuse to use the chip and pin machine. If you pay for the extra insurance they will use the chip and pin so then it will work. They left 2 families stranded at night with children in the airport.

Caution non restituée (avec preuves)

J’ai réservé un véhicule chez drive 365 qui m’ont prélevé une caution de 900€. Au moment de rendre le véhicule le monsieur nous affirme que tout est bon. Nous demandons ensuite par message comment se déroule la restitution de la caution. Le monsieur nous répond que ça peut prendre quelques temps mais qu’il n’y aucun soucis la voiture est en parfait état (nous avons les preuves). Cela fait 2 mois que nous tentons de joindre l’agence pour qu’ils nous restituent la caution, aucune réponse.

Je me suis fait passer pour un autre client et magiquement ils ont répondu tout de suite, puis m’ont raccroché au nez après avoir entendu le mot caution.

Après une centaine de relance aucun retour (nous avons toutes les preuves photos, enregistrement téléphoniques, relevé) et avons entamer une procédure.

Jusqu’à preuve du contraire, ce sont des voleurs
Je mets une étoile car je ne peux pas en mettre 0. Au début tout s’était bien passé, le jour de la réception du véhicule ils m’ont pris 900€ de dépôt de garantie qu’ils ont prélevé, ce n’est pas simplement une empreinte. J’ai rendu le véhicule le 14 juin sans aucun litige et nous somme le 01/08 je n’ai toujours pas vu la couleur de mon argent. Après les avoir harcelé le 8 juillet ils m’ont confirmé que le virement de leur part allait être émis mais je n’ai toujours rien à croire que mon argent s’est volatilisé.
Inadmissible.

I would never use Drive365 Tivat…

I would never use Drive365 Tivat Airport again.
I booked fully comprehensive insurance online whilst booking via vipcars.com
When I arrived in Montenegro I was told any UK insurance was invalid and asked for €80 per day to insure the car which I refused. I was told any damage would be charged, along with any breakdowns and that if I wrote off the car it would cost €50000.
This was a joke as the car had done 124000 km already, had scratches all over and the interior was a mess.
Worse still when taking back they went over the car in detail asking for evidence the scratches were there before I picked the car up.
Luckily I did a detailed review when picking it up.
Do not use!!!!
