I realised very quickly what my daughter had done, so emailed them explaining I was using my rights to the 3 day trial period and expressed that I didn't wish to subscribe to their services.
They have emailed back saying they have changed their email address, so I don't believe they will uphold the 3 day trial period and will ge trying to take my money.
If anyone can help it would be appreciated

Fraudulent company. I was duped into believing they were a DVLA approved site. They charged me 89 pounds to change my address on my drivers license a service I thought I was applying to the DVLA directly to because of their copycat website and deceptive marketing. It is such a shame that this has been allowed to go on for so long

Do not use this company!!! I was under the impression that I was on the official government website but it then turned out I was charged £89 3 days after I renewed my license. Unbeknown to me I had apparently subscribed to this company’s service. When I contacted them and asked for a refund they refused and now they’ve blocked my email. They are scammers pretending to be legitimate.
Their website looks just like the gov.uk site so be really careful you are on the right site.

These people are devious and deceitful. I have been stung for £89 like so many others. They are nothing short of a scam.

I was shocked also like many others. I noticed money from account days later. I contact my bank who at first said i had to accept the hit. I refused and said that the website was not clear, it had no tick box, no email to confirm "subscription" ...upshot is my bank did a chargeback and Licence assist did refund my money. I dealt with the bank not Licence assist. Stand firm, its a tough lesson but its not right vulnerable people are being tricked, the company should be ashamed and if they made the subscription clear im sure 99.9% of people would not have proceeded further!

I’m afraid I’ve also been duped by them. You can’t see the small print throughout the transaction, and it’s not until you’re outside of a 3 day trial period, which you’re unaware of, that you get a further £89 taken from your account, having already paid £10 for what you think is your DVLA driving licence renewal being fast tracked.
I feel so angry for falling for this scam, but on a positive note, it’s a tough lesson, and I will certainly be more aware in future!

Really upset how my 16 year old son went to do an application after saving for his provisional and ended up on this site by mistake thinking he was on the DVLA site and totally got caught in the trap, now in an overdraft he hasn’t even got and costing him daily until we can afford to put money in to get him out of it, a young 16 year old starting out in life what hope have they got, he’s stressed all weekend about it and don’t bother phoning or emailing them as they really don’t care, hopefully they don’t have children of their own as you wouldn’t expect any parent to allow this. Absolutely sickening and disgusting how they operate and how they take advantage of young people feeling !!!!

Hi I would like to pass on a story which seems to be affecting quite a few people myself included. My husband recently ordered a driving licence through the official DVLA website , once details have been entered and you proceed to the payment option you are not told but are put through to this third party company called licence assistance to make the payment once paid the licence is dispatched however a few days later I was contacted by my bank about an un authorised payment that had been attempted by the same company for £89 which had been blocked by my banks fraud team. I immediately contacted my bank and was assured the payment was not taken and advised this company is a subscription service. Very confused as we had not signed up for a subscription we tried to call the company who do not have a working contact number and was very concerned at the reviews on here. We called the DVLA who are aware of what this company does and basically don't care as they get there money paid. My bank advised us to contact the company and cancel the subscription and also sent me a form to refuse them taking any money from my account which we did. 3 days later they successfully took £89 from my account I called the bank who were shocked as they are NOT allowed to do this! However they did luckily my bank is refunding me and will contact the company again but I have had to cancel my debit card to stop them taking any future money. There is nothing kn there website to explain what this subscription service is and nothing on the payment to suggest you are signing up for a service not sure how this is legal but reporting to trading standards ASAP!

I can’t give less than a star. Scammers. Unless you want to input all details as per dvla and pay £90 more for nothing. Won’t repay. Don’t tell you about the cost. It will be somewhere small. Robbers. Rob you 3 days after initial application.

Total scam company masquerading of the Government website. No idea it wasn't until the payment had been made. I immediately cancelled my card which hopefully means I won't be stung for their subscription fee. If you are reading this you have probably been taken in as well. Not yet received a driving licence either.

Gave £10 though it was DVLA then £89 was taken out of my account only wanted to renew licence over 70 years which is free anyway did not know this till I checked later when fraud team phoned from the bank terrible they have scammed so many people should be removed this is illegal

DO NOT USE THESE, sorry for shouting but it is so frustrating that so called companies like these can work like this. Got stung for £89 asked for money back was told you signed up your problem. I thought I was on the DVLA sight. And there was no where on the sign up showing this charge. But it's on the website. I'll take it as a learning curve but would like to make sure others don't get stung.

Con artists, deliberately sneaking a subscription of £89 onto a provisional driving license application. They don't process this until after the 72 hour cancellation period.

total rip off. Had no idea I was being charged £89 to them- for absolutely nothing. I was applying for my son's provisional licence, & thought I was going through to DVLA direct. SCAM

Yep! Got me good, hope you choke on my money Mr. What goes around comes around, mark my words, it always does eventually with people like this, I take solace in that.

As everyone else, got ripped off with the £89 subscription charge, when my son was applying for a provisional license. I can live with the £44 charge to make the application to DVLA (although it's £34 if you go direct), but taking further money from my account was not on. Wrote an email requesting cancelation and a refund, but no reply (surprise surprise!). Cancelled my payment card in case they tried taking more money, and asked my bank to raise a charge back, which I think is done via Mastercard. Got a refund within 48 hrs, so suggest you try this route if you fall foul of these shysters.
