Scam company stole £14, then £89 to renue a driving licence. Absolutley disgusting shouldnt be allowed to happen.

Had the same problem, phoned dvla and they know about them and are looking into it. Bank wouldnt refund as they are a registered company, no company name and two companies using the same website, one charges £89 every three months the other is £81 a year, but you are not offered a choice as to which one you want, as you dont know about these charges. I have emailed my local MP, explained it all, and have asked him to raise it in parliament. I advise you all do the same, or else this company will continue to rip people off. If we cant get our money back, Lets at least try and get them closed down,

Only ordered a provisional licence. Thought it was a legit company. Paid £44 then yesterday the company took a further £89 out off my account stated it was for a membership. That I did definitely not sign up for. They've refused to refund my money. This is a scam company do not use
I very much doubt I will even get my provisional licence. I'm not very good with all this technology. So please if your unsure about things your doing online applying for anything get sone help from a trusted family member or friend. As these companies are rufeless.

My son just got scammed.

Class stole my identity and lost 90 quid the customer service was worth the loss. Thank you to mr. Sir who helped me and if you need it contact me for my PIN number. This company is not a scam and as long as Rishi sunak the real criminal Dosent get it I’m a ok #thetorysareworsethenhitler

Used the service to renew my licence. Agreed to pay for that service. Did not use DR admin.co.uk website shown in small print at an additional £89. Charged for using this after the opt out for free period had passed. Company now say I used that service & did not opt of it in time to avoid the extra £89 fee. Have reported them to Trading Standards. Avoid at all costs

I filled out the form from this company thinking they were DVLA, I realised it was a scam just prior to completing the payment details. I used DVLA and received my licence. A few days later I had message that my payment details were unsuccessful, so I filled in my details. and pressed the send button. Instantly I realised this was LICENCE ASSISTANCE not DVLA. They would not refund as they processed. They could not have processed it as I already had my Licence from DVLA. I let it go then on 16/01/23 they took £89 from my account. I totally did not authorize this transaction so I have just requested new cards and informed the bank. I am not sure if I will be refunded for this action? Looking at all these reviews, how the hell is this company still selling?

Just got sucked in like everyone else, trying to get money back through the bank not hopeful.. tried to cancel the 'subscription ' lost £123.. hoping they don't try and take another £89 next month 🤬

If I could give zero stars, I would, these are absolute scam artists, charge you £20 to renew your drivers license , then suddenly take £89 with no explanation, then I got an email saying I need to send a cheque !!!

It can be improved by being prosecuted by fraudulent use of credit cards I did not authorize the payment of £89 and have asked my bank to stop the payment.

Can't believe i fell for this. Wanted to get a provisional licence for my daughter so typed it into google and this site was up the top and looked so much like an official DVLA site. Was so upset to see after completing my application and being charged £40 that a couple days later i had another £89 taken off my card. Have tried contacting them begging for a refund but they wont help or do anything. Feel incredibly stupid. There are over 400 bad reviews on here, each person being charge £89 thats not a bad earner at £35'600!!!! Shouldn't be allowed.

EDIT: Under no circumstances do these people give refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WAITING ON THE PHONE.Spoke to them today. Plain rude and uninterested. Have gone to the bank and hopefully will get money back that way.

Charged £24 initially and then a further £89. Seems pointless at this point to call them in the morning from what everyone else is saying. I may need to, just to vent!

Absolute scum!

After being notified by DVLA.that my driving licence was about to expire i went online to renew it. After a long tiring day i went into 'Licence Assist'{ renew your licence online}. All very official looking ,it appears to be something to do with the DVLA. Not so. i agreed to pay £14 to renew licence and gave all my bank card details. I overlooked the small faded print on the right that said i was signing up to have £89 taken from my account for the next 3 months for administrative/legal services, though what these are is never stated. I have Barclays bank to thank for contacting me to advise me of the consequences of signing up to this nonsense and was able to stop it within the 3 days you are able to do so losing only £14 instead of £267.I also had the inconvenience of cancelling my bank card.. I don't know who the people behind Licence Assist are but the people working for them should be thoroughly ashamed to be doing so. The site is a clear deception aimed at misleading people out of their money.

This company is manipulative & unscrupulous. Like many others, I believe they prey on inexperienced and gullible kids who are applying for their first licence & who don’t quite grasp the extent, or recurrence, of an extortionate and unjustified fee. Despite an hour on the phone to request a refund, they were unwavering & unapologetic. It’s despicable these types of companies are allowed to continue trading. They have a 3 day ‘trial period’ & do not make clear, in my view at least, that this is a subscription service.

I have towrite another review I got a phone call from this company as I tried to call them however they did call back and I more than gave them an angry response. What I feel if we could all get together to lobby the MPs in the area regarding these scammers that the loophole in the law should be changed that they cannot scam people out of their money by using the DVLA website. I also feel that if their website is being used shouldn’t they try to stop this from happing after all they are the government?

I must admit i was the same as everyone, but going back and reading the material it does inform you that you are signing up for a subscription with a three day cooling off period. I tried a couple of times to call them and they did call me back a girl called mixy (i think) was very helpful and cancelled mine and ii go confirmation email today.
yes I do agree that the site is very misleading as you do believe you are in the DVLA website.

My 16 yr old son got led to their website while just trying to get his provisional Driving licence. They charged him to get his licence, but then in the small print set up and ongoing payment of £89 every 3 months to some kind of admin services that he did no want. Refused to refund us. Have reported them to the bank and Action Fraud

Thief Robber criminal are these license support.

Absolutely thieving scum! I applied for my sons first provisional licence online, using the .gov website, paid the £34, only to have a further £89 stolen from my account 3 days later. I rang my bank who gave me a number for this "company" to try and find out why they had charged me the extra £89. I was told it was for some subscription, which I have no idea what the subscription was for and she couldn't/wouldn't give me an answer. She said it was in the disclaimer about this subscription charge. (No it wasn't, nowhere did it state any more money would be taken) I told her they are nothing but disgusting thieves and scammers. I phoned the DVLA number and she said it's happening to so many people. She also confirmed my sons provisional is being processed and has been paid for, so i know I know I used the genuine site to apply. My bank have said once the payment clears I can raise a dispute with the fraud team to try and get the money back, they have also put a block on any further payments being allowed out to these scum!
