Preying on young, my daughter fell for their scam completely unaware of how they operate, I would urge anyone else to report to trading standards, they are clearly managing to get away with something which clearly is scamming vulnerable young people

Absolute scam... Looked like the real DVLA website Untill it's too late... Took £144 out of account...

My family have taken some comfort out of the fact these repulsive pieces of excrement are prolific in doing what they do.

Even my bank labelled them scum - which they are. Took my sons money which he doesn’t have to line their already well financially insulated pants.

Disgraceful scam. They need to be shut down. Deliberately misleading and they automatically sign you up for a subscription service and blindly take money from your account whenever they feel like it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Make sure you are in government website only. How are they allowed to get away with this???

Do not use this company! Total scam. My daughter applied for a provisional licence via this website, they took an initial £44 then tried to set up a recurring £89 a month from the card used for the initial payment. Luckily my bank contacted me and we have been able to block the payments by cancelling the debit card. If you have used this company please contact your bank straight away and Google "Licence Assist cancel subscription" which will take you to their refund form to request a refund and also to make sure they delete any personal data.

My daughter (who has some learning difficulties and has just turned 17) told us a few days ago she'd applied for her provisional license. Which we thought was great! She checked her bank yesterday before she left for work to find £89 taken from her account by this scam company. She was in floods of tears. She tried calling them today (9th January) and got absolutely nowhere. I called on her behalf. I was asked to give her email address. Thats it. Nothing asking her address, or proof that I'm her mum. I told the call handler that I want the money returned to my daughters account. I was told that it's a 'non refundable subscription' and I asked what the subscription was for. I'm still waiting on an answer. I've told them to cancel whatever the subscription is, and that we'll get the money returned through the bank. I also told the handler that their company is a scam, a rip off and they're thieves. She said it -clearly stated in their website that there's an £89 subscription fee'. It doesn't. Who wants to pay that amount on a monthly basis just for applying for their first license? No one!

I got a text message from my bank on Friday stating that these scammers had tried to withdraw £89.00 for my son's provisional license. I have now sent an email as they are not answering calls and sending you around in circles. Bank can't refund until it goes out!

I tried to apply for my sons provisional, it was supposed to cost £34. However, they have taken two lots of £89 and a £45 extra within a week. I am fuming as they have basically taken his Christmas money. Spoken to the bank and they said it looks like he has signed up to a subscription which he hasn't. Its obviously a very good, scam website and it doesn't look like we will get the money back 😡😥

Robbing b*stards same as everyone here £89 out my bank due to signing up to some bull? Dont use and go straight to your bank and tell them that theyve given you verbal concent to cancel the transaction

This is a despicable site! I'm a senior and pretty useless with computers so unawares of what to look out for as far as safety! Whilst thinking I was on DVLA they conned me into £14 for my licence and an extra £89 (apparently per month, according to my bank!). Its a legal scam that needs stopping! They won't return the money as the 3 day cooling off period had lapsed..but it took 3 days to notice! Emails from them went to my Spam. I won't rest now until I feel I've done as much as I can to stop them! And stop others making the same mistake! Shame on them!

I have raised a dispute through my bank and will also be reporting to Trading Standards.

I became suspicious when charged £24 instead of the £14 on the renewal letter. Like others I landed on this website through the link given on the DVLA letter. I did a bit of research, read these reviews and managed to get a refund from my bank and stopped any future payments. Easily done, as was cancelling the company subscription, all via webchat. Getting fed up with having to triple check every online payment I make. So many scammers out there.

Like 99% of the other posts on trustpilot I to was fooled and conned out or £89 because their website looked just like the DVLA site. I have reported them to trading standards and written to my bank hoping to get my money back by asking my bank to create a chargeback. Fingers crossed!

Been mugged off by this company, thought I was using dvla to renew my drivers license but was not them and charged me £24 to do it then have taken another £89 out of my account 4 days later. Did not say nothing about charging me this 😡

I was a bit concerned when come across all the bad reviews but since spoken to (Heather) customer service adviser feel more assured, and they were very prompt in order to file the application to DVLA.

Like so many people already, I have also fallen foul of their £89 subscription.

I have managed to log in and cancel the "subscription" and have tried to talk to them through their online web chat, but they are standing by the fact that it was my responsibility to notice that I had signed up to their subscription service.

This means I will not be getting a refund from them, so I will be taking this up with my bank to see if they can do anything to help.

I am also planning on making this known on my social media as it is not right that this is happening.

I would give zero stars but it's not an option. My 16 year old excitedly also completed a form online and I didn't realise she had not used the DVLA website until a message came through saying to check my spam for correspondence. Once I realised her error I contacted them to ask to cancel and did not send a photo or signature to complete her application. After emails back and forth, on 3/1/23 they agreed to refund her £34.(The license fee minus a fast track fee) I thought this was it but then the following day £89 was taken from my account. Despite asking to cancel within hours and definitely within the 3 free days they are refusing to refund the money. They are refusing to send me a copy of her application, a copy of their complaints procedure or the full name and business address of the company. I have contacted the CAB to issue a complaint to Trading Standards about illegal trading practices and will fight the illegal payment through my banks fraud dept.

Cheeky sods robbed me. Had no idea that I was using this service. I was on DVLA gov.uk and filled all info in myself. They need locking up.
