Purchased a piece of furniture from Their Auction which was not described as ‘Built In’. I had to send two restorers with cutting gear to remove it as it was fixed in-place to the wall and floor. We emailed video and picture evidence of the removal. I was promised a proceedure response, however this was not provided, the only thing provided was a verbal and written unprofessional response of denial.

They will ignore you for years

I own a rental property which is managed by Eddisons. Over the years the property has had significant water damage and leaks due to a lack of required maintenance by Eddisons to the roof and gutters. They only stepped in and accepted responsibility when water was pouring into the flat and was a safety hazard to my tenants. They never ever reply...to get a response from Mark or Jason you must ring or email several times a day, for weeks on end. But they will ignore you for months. Every single action or simple request is like getting blood from a stone.

They are the least professional or reliable company I have ever dealt with. They still owe me several promised tasks in the flat like sorting the rotting windows and I know many other owners in the development have been chasing them for years too. It is routine how often we have to discuss their incompetence in our owners forum.

If you can - avoid them at all costs.

We do want to clarify that the water ingress was fully resolved, an insurance claim was secured to cover internal redecoration costs, and regular gutter inspections are now in place. Standard, easy, and straight forward

Now a tenant at one of Eddisons' properties. Process was very straight forward - viewed, accepted, and moved in. The letting agent was incredibly helpful and professional.

Renting Privately in Lincoln

I'm privately renting my apartment with Eddisons in Lincoln and have had the best experience with Amy, who led me through the entire process. She's been incredibly responsive to my queries, proactive and friendly throughout, which makes renting on my own for the first time so much less scary. Be that a janky letterbox, adjustments to the (very detailed!) inventory or queries about meters - she's been super helpful and was able to resolve all questions I've had so far within a very short time frame. Super happy with my experience, thank you Amy! :)

Eddisons Transport Morally Redundant

Eddisons Transport provided a mislabelled plan claiming a mini-roundabout in Maids Moreton met safety standards. It did not. I have raised with Mark Foster and Phil Wooliscroft and they had zero interest in correcting this. A morally redundant company

Further to Eddisons response there is nothing on the public record showing that Buckinghamshire Council have confirmed the mini-roundabout conforms to CD116 safety standards. I’m giving Eddisons the opportunity here to provide that evidence. It seems Eddisons believes it can submit mislabelled plans and drawings and it’s the Council’s fault if they don’t meet safety standards. That is a morally deficient position for a company to adopt.

absolutely mean , they have valuated our commercial unit about £80k under market price , such a waste of money , absolutely rubbish , reading the rest of reviews shows how mean are these people , i worked with Richard Bliss , stay away

Total waste of time

Total waste of time. Spend 3 days emailing Alex regarding a property I was selling n Facebook.
Getting told no sale no fee at auction lol. Then the extremely long contract arrived and it stated fees if it sold or not.
I found Alex to be totally untrustworthy and I have forwarded the emails and contract to trading standards for them to look into.
Bee very careful using this firm.

Really bad experience dealing with Mark…

Really bad experience dealing with Mark Belsham regarding a unit in Chiswick. He didn’t reply to emails, texts, or calls. I went to the place twice to take measurements and was told I’d get an update by the end of the day — it’s now been over two weeks and I’ve heard nothing. Feels like he just decided to ignore me, maybe thought I couldn’t afford the place or something. Either way, super unprofessional.

The surveyor was ridiculously expensive and then only did half the job, asked to finish the job he was ridiculously expensive and greedy , on top of this he was slow the report took weeks and even now the job is still unfinished and more money is demanded , take heed and avoid this firm

I dont normally warrant a few minutes…

I don't normally warrant a few minutes of my day to write reviews, BUT, this company for a London estate agent, really needs to hire some staff to answer their phones!! 3 days I have been calling to enquire on one of their listings, nothing! I ended up speaking to their other branches in the midlands and the response was to put me through to their main office again, the same one I had been calling for the last 3 days. Absolutely shocking!!

Would not recommend, go elsewhere.

These guys will massively undervalue your property - I would not recommend them at all.

We have had two valuations completed, Eddison's Liverpool came in £100,000 LESS than the other valuation, which equates to -21%.

The surveyor, David Baker, was rude and had a very unprofessional manner on email and telephone, when we simply asked for an update. He expressed to us that he was doing us a favour by doing our survey before Christmas! Even though we paid a handsome fee of £2,400 for the service... Not really a way to treat paying customers.

The actual report lacked detail and appeared basic, with a very poor layout compared to all other surveys which I have received in the past.

Would not recommend, go elsewhere.
