Ordered a ring as a birthday present, with an introductory email advertising "free express shipping on orders over £50". My order met this requirement and the checkout also stated "you have free shipping." When paying, had 2 options - pay £3.95 or £5.00. Opted to pay to place the order and decided to raise with customer services, expecting it would be an innocent mistake and easy to resolve. Subsequently told by Ella in customer services that free shipping only applies to orders above £75 and no resolution offered. Questioned this based on what their website states and what they are advertising to potential customers with no reply. I later received a tracking number from the courier and a short while later, received another email cancelling my order, advising that they no longer have stock and didn't know when they would be restocking the ring. Poor advertising, poor customer service and an overall terrible experience!

Edge of Ember is my absolute go to for gifting. This is my third purchase from the brand and I had some questions about a gift for a friend - I contacted the team via WhatsApp and had a very speedy reply from Ella who answered my questions then went above and beyond to ensure my gift was really special. The pieces are all absolutely beautiful, very high quality and arrive in stunning packaging. If you want to buy from a brand that shares your values then I can't recommend Edge of Ember enough!!

I was originally gifted an Initial Necklace Edge of Ember by my sister which I have had for about a year now, I've now placed my own order and starting to fall in love with all the pieces as well as the brand ethos. Quick/free delivery so a very happy customer overall! Chloe is brilliant in the sales team - very helpful when needing assistance with anything.

Had the initial necklace with 2 initial pendants on it in gold, after a few weeks the back of one of the initials plating was peeling off literally so I asked for a refund. I was told I could have it replaced and that they had just changed factories so this was the reasoning behind the dodgy plating. A few months on and the same thing has happened again. Both pieces are tarnished and the plating is coming off in pieces at the back. I'm getting little gold flakes on my chest when I've worn it and even some on my newborns face from having him in the sling. Really disappointed as I love their designs and would have liked to get a new pendant for my little boys initial. Complete waste of money in my eyes unfortunately! X

The hoop earrings are shown enlarged in the shop and are in reality microscopic and completely overpriced.
High return costs from Germany have to be paid by the customer.

I really wanted to like my purchase from Edge of Ember having spotted them in one of the Sunday magazines. I bought a silver initial necklace with some birthday money (£76.50 after introductory discount). It arrived in stylish packaging but the necklace itself was very disappointing. It is a very dull grey compared to my other silver jewellery. Unfortunately I removed the tag so I could try to clean it so will be unable to return it. I thought they might have sent me some old stock which had tarnished. It isn’t tarnished and didn’t improve with cleaning. It’s just an awful dull, cheap looking metal despite being hallmarked. Looks dreadful when I’ve tried it on and I’ll never wear it. Lesson learnt - what a waste of money - I’ve since purchased a similar necklace from another supplier I’ve purchased from previously so I know it will look good.

Have brought 2 necklaces from EoE.
I’ve had one for 13 months and noticed that the gold has tarnished on one of the necklaces. I’ve stored the necklace as directed in the box and not worn everyday.
I emailed asking what they could do about this and was met with an email sending me a link to buy the necklace again…for £135 I don’t think so.
The price of the product is not worth it for the quality won’t be buying from here again. I’ll try Missoma instead.
