Cant send invoices and interface with Mac office not great
I have had a really poor experience with managing multiple accounts for a business. Invoices don't get emailed, you have to raise a ticket for a VAT invoice and they have to email their sub processors to get one which takes days and even a few phone calls. Doing our VAT return is a massive pain. It would be nice if proper invoices were emailed and or you could log into your account to get them. Ditto payment options.
Also, if you have 6 users but only say, 4 licenses - none of them work properly.
The Mac/office interface is, as far as I can tell, not there, which is also a real shame. Im sure that bit is particularly hard, but the payment/account management stuff -come on folks!!
A Little Expensive But Does What It Says On The Tin
I was initially sceptical before purchasing an Individual Licence, but once I was up and running, I found it really easy to deploy to the rest of my Management Team and am now happier that emails can be sent securely.
The Sales Team were excellent and during our initial online meeting, they really put me at ease at how their Egress Protect could be deployed.
The only downside is the cost, however, it's a case of offsetting the financial cost against the potential damage that could be caused to my organisation.
I would still highly recommend the software.

My hospital now uses this set up to send emails which I cannot get into..I registered, created an account & it locks me out. I have reset my password 9 times & it still won’t recognize my security questions. The NHS are using this awful egress platform & the hassle is seriously bad for your health causing high anxiety & upset .. a 32 digit reset is ridiculous especially when it doesn’t work. Too complicated & inaccesible for ordinary people
Useless!
We had to register with "Egress" so we could order Covid testing kits for our business. The system is not fit for purpose. Every time we log in it asks for verification but the only options it gives for this are designed for mobile phones! There is no option for normal telephone or email authentication and the code times out far too quickly so we cannot access the system.

Got told to use this for referral to a long Covid clinic. They sent a thirty two digit password to get a large questionaire. One of the first questions on it was “Do you suffer from brain fog or confusion? Not until you sent the 32 digit password that is not possible to cut and paste on my mobile. And to think they are using this to communicate with pensioners. Not a tool fit for purpose.

The software doesnt even work, Kept erroring, I had to paste in the code from the original email to access a document.
Why the GP couldnt send me a secure pdf I do not know.
Egress is a very useful tool
Egress is a very useful tool. My only gripe is that I have to keep entering my password even though I have ticked the 'remember me' box so not sure if there's a glitch. Note that it's not software that remembers past email addresses.

Its good, particularly for sending large documents. Not all of my clients find it easy to use unfortunately. For some strange reason it has started causing my Microsoft Outlook 365 Business Edition to crash, so I have docked a star.

Longevity of retaining messages
It would be useful if the messages were available to be viewed for longer, especially for those users, like myself, who use this helpful facility, but on a more sporadic basis.

Secure email service. The only gripe is that there is no auto-filling of frequently used email addresses which can make it a lengthy process.

Provides an encrypted email service. But emails older than about 6 weeks are automatically deleted with no ability to extend this time frame. Cost for the service is high.

Really useful piece of software for sending emails securely. Some issues with emails printing correctly but generally this can be solved by closing and reopening the email
Problem with subscription renewal
I paid my renewal subscription on 11 Dec 2020 when I received notification by email though my annual membership was due for renewal on 8th January 2021. I understood despite paying in advance, the renewal date would be the actual expiry date of previous year's subscription. I sent emails to request clarification and to highlight that the service was invoicing me twice for the same month but received no reply at all. Notification for renewal of subscription should be clearer and customers should not be charged twice for the same period. The date of expire of previous subscription should be honour at renewal point when payment is given in advance. You are actually punishing existing customers which is poor customer retention policy. Given that this is the system used by social care, this service has to continue using it though it would be helpful for your customer care policies to be revised in view of this feedback.
On another note, my incoming emails sometimes arrive in my inbox with 3 or 4 hours of delay which is having an impact on the external communication with other providers and commissioners. Given the nature of this service ( mental health provider), communication of confidential data is crucial and needs to be timely.
