AWFUL

Avoid using this company as I purchased a bathroom extractor fan and the adjustment knob for the humidity broke on the first use.
Since I contacted them they’ve conveniently changed their returns policy and I cannot return it as am currently trying to sell my house and what do they expect me to do, leave a 4” square hole on view.
They also take ages to respond and basically wasted my money. Can actually get one just as good for half the price elsewhere. A very expensive lesson learnt. Do not use this company!

This review page is for electricpoint, but they have changed their name to Electrical Transformers Online to deceive customers.

Absolutely appalling service. Ordered an appliance with a promised 4-day delivery, but after 9 days of complete silence, we had to chase them for an update. Instead of any explanation, they simply issued a refund the next day, no apology, no communication, nothing. A total waste of time.

Tried calling, but their so-called "customer service" number is just for show, it’s email-only, and even then, they don’t bother replying. So why display a number at all?

Also, be aware: they only showcase Feefo reviews, which means only invited buyers can leave feedback. Conveniently, happy customers get the invite, while disappointed ones are ignored.

However, if you’ve had a bad experience, you can submit your invoice or order screenshot to Feefo after 28 days and request approval to leave a review. Don’t let them get away with filtering out honest feedback.

Complete waste of time as I required the item for a job booked in a week ahead .

Terrible service...

I ordered a consumer unit from these clowns, next day delivery turned into a week and still no correspondence. I've received half of my order and nothing else. Avoid. Last time I will deal with them because the few pounds you save isn't worth the stress.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

I ordered over £400 of materials on this website on the 25.11.25.
At no point during ordering were the materials shown as "not in stock".
After taking my payment I received an email that the materials were out of stock, I have attempted to call everyday only to get transferred to an answer machine. I have also emailed and had no reply.
To date 2.12.24 (a week later)I have only received £43.49 worth of my materials, this has delayed two projects that were due to be finished. I have two very unhappy clients, no materials, no correspondence and no ETA.

Customer service.

First, the price for the lamp was the best we could find. Secondly, the delivery courier managed to break the lamp shade. Electricpoint arranged for it to be collected, at their cost, and returned. They sent another, courier broke that, back it went. They then offered a full refund or a third try, we now have a working lamp. I believe they are looking for a new courier. Customer service second to none!

Electricpoint ignoring me

I had 3 Rointe radiators finally delivered on 4 Nov 24, I was unable to check at the time. However, on checking found 1 radiator was outwardly twisted, thought to be a manufacturer's flaw as packaging wasn't damaged. I've contacted Electricpoint twice as a replacement radiator is required urgently before all 3 can be fitted but am being ignored.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service; the team lacks knowledge. They cancelled half of my order while I was at work. Overall, this wholesaler cannot be trusted. The lack of knowledge from Electripoint can cause anyone a loss.
I highly advise the Sparks to avoid electric points at all cost

Rubbish delivery service

Rubbish delivery service, waiting all day for the driver to arrive with the heaters I ordered and when I step out for 10 minutes the driver rings me to tell me he's arrived at my property. Zero warning or planning ahead - how incompetent in the digital age when every other delivery company uses a 2-hour window and delivers in that timeframe - rubbish!

The courier did not help my mother…

The courier did not help my mother bring the heavy pallet with the heater inside and deliberately unloaded it farther from her residence.

As noted on our delivery information page, storage heaters are delivered via kerbside pallet service, which means delivery is to the nearest hardstanding at the property and not inside. This should have been clearly communicated via a phone call from the courier prior to delivery, and we apologise if this wasn’t made clear or handled properly. Great pricing & excellent service!

Great pricing and great customer service - some items damaged in transit (the courier seems to have football with them), very quickly and easily resolved by their customer service team, can't recommend highly enough.

Electricpoint.com quote was a rip off

I asked electricpoint.com for a quote for 16 Hamilton Sheer plugs and sockets and was quoted £828.35 (£690.29 + VAT). I went to another electrical supplier and asked for the same quote for the 16 Hamilton Sheer plugs and sockets and was quoted £341.05 (£284.21+VAT). That’s a difference of 143% or £487 more. In other words I found Electricpoint to be an absolute rip off so unless you have money to burn you should stay away and use a more reasonably priced electrical supplier.

Very Happy

Very surprised at bad reviews. I have now used a few times with no problems. This time ordered a Zinc up and down light. Easy website to navigate, easy ordering and a good price for what i wanted. On day of ordering received text from Parcelforce, "We have your Electricpoint order". 2 days later text in morning with delivery slot. Item delivered in time slot. Well packaged in box, plastic bag and bubble wrap. All good, very happy and definitely recommend and i will be using again.

Click and collect works well.

I have made two click and collect orders with Electricpoint and been very pleased with the results. Both items were available in the local branch in Ipswich and were available for collection as indicated.
