not environmentally friendly
This company claims it offers products which are safe and environmentally friendly. This is not true. I tried the bacteria based Natural Pond Klear but still had a blanketweed problem, so as suggested on the Natural Pond Klear web page bought the Algae Klear Extra. Only after adding it to my pond did I realise it is copper sulphate 'toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects'. I have ruined my wildlife pond and I am heartbroken.

Just to confirm, when using as recommended on the bottle, Algae Klear Xtra is safe to use in a wildlife pond. Where possible we recommend to not use this in a pond with aquatic snails, all other wildlife is fine to use this with.
