I was politely and patiently helped log on to a website - the complexity and plethora of confusing options and multiple websites I was directed to by the search engines caused me to need help!

The first call was no use at all as I was directed to the wrong person, she was unable to connect me to the relevant person so I had to start the call again, the second call made up for this because Gokul was very helpful and sorted my issue immediately without any fuss, he exemplified customer service and common sense!

I was having a great deal of trouble changing my address online and combining two Shareview portfolios into one. My requests kept being rejected (probably because I had 2 accounts).
I phoned and spoke to a HUMAN BEING!! Wonderful! A Customer Experience Representative, Kishore. He guided me very patiently through the whole process and now I have an account with all my shareholdings in it, and my new address.

Clear explanation of what was required.
The online/website info is not all that clear and the process of trying to sell a deceased's shares is not too easy to follow.

The gentleman I spoke to was very helpful and we sorted out what I required very quickly.

Trying to sort out access to my portfolio where the system did not recognise password. EQ staff member was very helpful and talked me through the multiple screen procedure. Many Many thanks.

28/8/26 - Editing my review:
After being told the issues had been resolved on 18/08/2026, on a follow up call today with the Customer Service helpline I've been told nothing has been resolved and there's no sign of the call to me on 18/8/26. (Funny how someone sent me a link to complete a review on 18/8/26 when there's no record of contact on that date.)
Being told an issue is resolved when it hasn't been, is even worse than knowing there are issues.
I have been trying to sell shares for months via this company and I'm just going round in circles.
Since I'm getting nowhere with Customer Service helpline and Service Operations Team "have no contact numbers" according to CS, my only option seems to be a complaint to FCA.

My experience with the Service Operations Team was poor. They requested information already sent and acknowledged during a difficult time making the situation even more stressful.
I called the Customer Service helpline and although Pitoka could not resolve my issue on the call, he followed up with the Service Operations Team, resolved the issue and contacted me to let me know.

After a lot of messing about - system down, go back online, get a reference, etc., I was eventually able to trade on line and the person dealing with me was very helpful.
The young lady who gave me the assistance is called Vathsala. She isn’t English, but dealt very patiently with me when I mis-heard the occasional word. The males of the species were not at all helpful!

I'm not the best on phones/computers but I got excellent guidance to download the form I needed.

Kishore explained everything thoroughly and was very patient

I am currently trying to sell some shares online, I sent in my share certificates so I can sell shares online the quick and easy way but the sell box on my share portal is greyed out so I cannot sell shares online. I have contacted the help desk to see if this can be rectified and they cannot resolve it so I have to contact the sales group who said they would charge me at the same rates as the online service. I am trying to contact sales to do this and it has taken approx 90mins so far on 3 separate calls and still no one has answered. I don't like waiting 30mins at a time and then being cut off. Your service is terrible ! I wish I had never placed my shares in your company.

I had quite a few issues that I needed help navigating and found the experience very helpful and useful to helping me sort out what I needed.

Kathiravan was honestly so patient and helpful with our queries setting our account up and locating and helping us add the investments to the portfolio I'd highly recommend. I now have to locate another account but once I get all the paperwork together I'll be calling them again,
