Awful bereavement service
Their bereavement service is just appalling. Really clunky, complex, not thought through at all. Try to channel you back on line or on to chat bot. Avoid talking to you to resolve the issues their poor system creates.

Excellent service
Excellent service - fast - decisive and the problem resolved efficiently. The only negative was waiting for 20 minutes to have my phone call answered which s not the operators fault!

I had a query with some share certificates that I couldn't solve online.
I used the phone help desk and the gentleman I spoke with (Sarath Kumar) was very helpful, I have a strong Scottish accent which he understood and I also have defective hearing so he spoke slowly and clearly so that I could understand him which I did.
He also managed to answer my queries very quickly and efficiently which I am really pleased about. An excellent representative of the company !

The worst of the worst stock transfer…
The worst of the worst stock transfer agents. My brother had to resubmit a request to transfer stocks three times. Each time, he got a different reason why his previous request had been rejected. After the second time, EQ should have elevated this to someone competent. But they did no such thing. So you're left with follow the instructions on the form and hope for the best. Or, keep submitting the same forms until someone at EQ believes it to be right. The customer service reps are hostile and incompetent. If you're a business looking for a stock transfer agent, DO NOT use these bozos or your shareholders will complain loudly to you at your poor choice.

Update on review .Been on the phone for over an hour this has to be the worst of the worst experience ever .Equiniti have the lowest level of non service ever .They couldn’t care less , not interested,DO NOT deal with this company … I did BIG mistake !!

Equiniti couldn’t care less .. Appalling Service..useless..
My wife had a dividend from Aberdeen PLC , verified by email 10 days ago. My bank ,up to today’s date have not received it. According to the Aberdeen portal the account number and sort code are correct. After making 7 phone calls and hours on the phone waiting, and Equiniti saying they have sent dividend ,they asked for a bank statement to prove this has not been received. This was sent five days ago, recorded delivery , certified arrival a day later. Still nothing , no acknowledgment. The advisors are useless , they are like robots repeating that thr dividend has been sent, it hasn’t ! My only recourse is the County Court . DO NOT deal with this company they are completely unhelpful , uncaring and totally useless. They are keeping our money. You have been warned … and obviously I am not the only one.

My reason for contacting this company was to chase my shares dividends
Equiniti were able to locate my shares and inform me how best to procure the dividends from them.
All the information in my query in September was not fully understood, but we got there in the end.
They were polite, patient, good listeners. They even went the extra mile in giving me advice on how to go about obtaining the verifications needed to have my dividends released to me, as I had gotten married, and this needed to be verified.
