Terrible trying to get thru on the phone as interactive voice system difficult to navigate and unclear. long wait times and no real alternative.

I made an enquiry just to gather an email address to send a query to. Instead Sushruthi said that she could help me on the phone and within 10 minutes had sorted something I thought was going to take at least a couple of hours. Great service.

Dreadful absolutely dreadful. would not recommend. i paid £85 for a new share certificate as well as registed post £10 not certificate came. infirmer them 3 x hard to get through call centre isn’t in uk ( seems not anyway)
share certicate cancelled asked to pay again!!!!! i made a complaint so they sending another form and then it appeared 6 weeks later on post so now trying to get through to get it not cancelled

I've been trying to deal with the bereavement of both my parents. They had a number of different (fairly small) share holdings administered by Equinity. I've wanted an tried to discuss with a member of staff on numerous occasions to explain the situation as despite informing them of the bereavement on line, they won't link you the various share accounts. That results in them still writing to my deceased parents at their old address.

I've been unable to speak to a member of staff who is willing to help. The offshore call centre insisted on trying to give me the number for the help line I'd just called and refused to transfer me. The 'bereavement team' seems non-existent and I keep being channelled back to an on-line service that is ineffective for this purpose.

Update

Equinity has asked for further details in order to help. The catch? If they don't get further details within three days, they won't help. Hmmm, when is help not help at all?

Kishaws help was superb. Particularly as I am profoundly deaf. He spoke very clearly and explained everything well.
I wish all helpline people could learn from him.

Sareth was very helpful but I had difficulty getting onto EQ Boost Account (probably my fault), which I found very frustrating. The letter I received earlier in the day from the Sevice Operations Team was very confusing.

I struggled to register my account due to having to call and confirm my details. There has to be another way.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with this company; I'm sorry I invested because this call center is the worst ever; I've called in many times for help but some have attitudes and don't seem to understand or care. My account is missing after I sent in paperwork Certified Mail and I can't get this resolved no matter who I talk to; there is no one in upper management to talk to. . I am missing my account after I made a name change. I may have to get legal help.
