Very thorough review of my tax return…
Very thorough review of my tax return before lodgement. The accountant identified additional deductions that saved me more than AUD $1,000, which I greatly appreciated. Communication was excellent, with quick responses to messages throughout the process.
There were a few minor issues with file attachments on the platform, but I was able to find a workaround without too much trouble. Overall, the service was professional, efficient, and delivered great results. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable tax accountant.

The EtaxSupport form was simple and straight forward . I’d rather pay EtaxSupport fee rather than the $600 I was paying to a tax preparer who I don’t believe was an accountant .

USED TO BE GOOD BUT NOT ANY MORE
I was with them 10years and never had any issues and then for some reason this year 2026 they have gone down the toilet - I started sole trading so needed to make sure all correct this year put in questions for my tax return and they didnt answer and if they did it wasnt to that question and then wanted me to pay for return before answering questions and it was done way to quick for me to trust it had been done correctly - i mess and emailed but no one responded - i did the chat and i swear person didnt understand english as replies made no sense - i called and person didnt understand what i saying and then told me they have multiple tax agents who touch my tax return and then hung up- I didnt let it go any further and have now found a proper local accountant who asked all the questions before even looking at my tax return - I also noticed other reviews this year saying same thing
if you want simple straight forward single person tax retun then do it

Hi Kylie,
Firstly, thank you for your loyalty over the years - ten years means a lot to us and we're truly sorry your experience this year fell short of what you were used to.
We reached out a number of times to apologise and do our best to make things right, and it's a shame we weren't able to reach a resolution together. We completely understand your decision and we wish you all the best going forward.
Kind regards,

Screwed up my return.
I was making great money and paying a small fortune in tax so I didn't question my hefty return. Accountant screwed up my return and I have to pay $1700 back. When I contacted them about it they didn't even acknowledge or apologise for their mistake.

Hi Anthony,
We're sorry to hear about the change in your refund amount and we completely understand how frustrating that must have been.
As soon as we received your review, one of our senior accountants tried to reach you personally to explain what happened and address your concerns. As they weren't able to get you on the phone for long, they sent you a comprehensive email on Monday outlining the changes the ATO made to your return months after lodgement and why.
We'd really appreciate it if you could take a moment to read through that email and reply with any questions. We're confident it will help clarify things and we're happy to discuss further over the phone or via feedback@etax.com.au.
Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope to hear from you.
Kind regards,
Etax Accountants
