I chose eTravelsim because of their local US number and competitive pricing, but my experience was disappointing.

1 The setup was complicated and only worked after contacting customer support (who did help me well).
2 The local number I received was clearly problematic: I was called almost daily by spam callers, and the number was even flagged as spam for others, which made communication difficult.
3 Coverage was poor compared to Saily (data-only), which my family members used without issues.

Overall: attractive pricing, but due to the spam calls, poor coverage, and difficult setup I cannot recommend this provider.

Best esim I ve ever used...it works perfect and they provide the best support...well done...

Have used their services in the US for years now - never had any problems. eSIM delivered within minutes, perfect coverage, no isssues whatsoever.

Hardly worked. Got an e sim for Morocco, the internet worked at the airport at the way to the hotel, great! We went to the waterfalls and it was so patchy, we went to the desert and it was non existent, even on the travelling there and back in the coach. We went to the markets today and the internet was non existent! Which was stressful as the markets are so big and needed to navigate back to our coach, luckily we were with a couple that a good working e sim that guided us back. Can’t say I’d use again

J’ai pris une esim 5gb au Maroc, les données se sont écoulés en 3 jours sans que je puisse les utiliser correctement. La connexion était très très lente donc je ne recommande pas du tout, j’ai pris une esim chez un concurrent moins cher et la connexion est top!

Update: le service client est très réactif et a trouvé une solution à mon problème, ce qui fait de moi un client satisfait

The tech support helped me and the esim started to work.

The customer service always replies as fast as possible, even late at night, when I had questions. And they were very friendly as well. They try everything they can to resolve your issues. eTravelSim has by far the best customer service. Thank you very much 🙌🏼

It's great that you can choose a product providing internet access in both Canada and USA. It's esas to install. Remember, when the phone asks for a PIN code, press 0000. eTravel SIM is a lot cheaper than using your own subscription for roaming outside EU:

This is a super slow and non customer oriented service. Their app won't show if you've any eSim available. I did mine from the website and I got the esim QR code after good one hour. Now that a month has passed for the service I availed, there was no formal intimation about it. Although I recharged my account (again from the website)
To my surprise, the same thing happened. Now, they don't respond at all, neither on chats nor on their whatsapp helpline.
Moreover, I did a blunder recommending this service to my other friends who are here on trip with me. All of them had to avail other services and they rather bought other ones and also got no response.

Sorry for my previous review. My eSIM is best thing to have when travelling. I’m always connected and able to reach my kids at home. Thanks a lot. Asante sana

Stay away! One-time QR code doesn’t work twice – and no help from support

I bought an eSIM for Turkey (10 days unlimited data), but it didn’t work – no mobile data, no APN settings, no 4G/5G.
I deleted the eSIM to try reinstalling it (as their own instructions suggest), but after that, the activation code was invalid.
I contacted support and they just sent me the same useless QR code again.

No refund, no solution. Just generic copy-paste replies.
Don’t waste your money. Terrible service.

Ich habe 10 Tage unlimited gebucht. Nach 2 Tagen hatte ich kein Empfang mehr. Der Verkäufer antwortete nicht und eine Rückerstattung gab es auch nicht. Falls ihr E-SIM sucht dann lieber Holafly.

Best service ever. This is my second year with ETravelSim. I use it in USA for months long stays. I prefer their service while they offer tons of options for different needs. Also there was not a single problem during my months long travels. I had 5 star experience, and at this very moment, I’m also using the service to get online.
It’s so easy to set up, only a few mins. Then all set and ready when you are landed. I recommend it to my friends who ask me how I handle internet while I travel long and a lot.

Very poor service. We relied on it for travel across Europe, but experienced multiple issues with connectivity, resulting in getting lost several times due to the inability to access maps. Both my wife and child were understandably frustrated by the lack of internet access. Overall, it was a disappointing and regrettable purchase. I really should’ve looked at the Trustpilot reviews before I bought it.

Betaling is gelukt, maar site geeft melding van een probleem. Geen enkel order nummer ontvangen.
2 maal geprobeerd, zelfde fout.

Intussen is het geld van de rekening en heb ik geen simkaarten ontvangen voor die betalingen.

Support geeft als reactie, het komt in orde we baten je terug.

Maanden later geen terugbetaling.
Claim bij paypal wordt geweigerd, ze geven valse informatie waardoor de claim niet ontvankelijk wordt verklaard.

De simkaarten die we ontvingen bij andere betalingen werkte goed!
4 werkende kaarten ontvangen, maar 6 keer van de rekening gegaan.

Let op met paypal betalingen op de site, het bezorgde ons een hoop ellende.
Sinds april ons geld proberen terug te krijgen, nog niets van terug gezien.

Bovenstaande reeds meerdere malen op mail gezet, met alle transactie ID's en nog steeds geen oplossing.

I purchased esim but found out after not compatible with my phone.Talk about being honest you stole my money

Great customer support experience. Team was very responsive to fix an issue that I had with validity. Also another instance they issues a new esim when my phone reset.
