So...I'm driving 2022 Golf GTE PHEV, the battery range isnt huge, only max 39 miles per charge, charges in around 4 hours. I also regen power to the battery through driving. I have looked at having a wall charger fitted, however I have initially opted for wottz 3 pin, 30 meter granny charger, as im only plugging in to charge twice a week. The charger is run from my external sockets installed for lazy spa. Ordering was simple, and by adding my vehicle reg, the website directed me to the compatible cables. Items was delivered within 2 days, and came very well packaged. Set up was so simple, effectively just plug and play after running the excess cable along the wall with cable clips. EV cable has a clear bright and easy to read digital display, and comes with a waterproof cable bag. Purchase of this cable has probably saved me around £700 from having a wall charger fitted and is much safer than using my VW charger running off an extension lead from indoor 3 pin plug. Excellent purchase and would highly recommend.

Charger came super quick with delivery updates being provided frequently. The charger itself feels very sturdy and reliable. Highly recommend this company for EV chargers.

What a sham! I have received two emails to rate EV cables before Ibhave even received my item!! Despite contacting the company and having a tracking number! I have not received anything from DHL or EV cables. The package tracker on the DHL website has not updated in over a week .

Tried a V2L Hyundai/Kia long cable with twin AC sockets. Plugged it in to the car, pressed the button on the cable to car connector and the car messaged me to say that V2L/X was active. Everything I tried plugging in worked. I’ll probably get another short one with the outdoor camping socket. It’s great when stuff just works.

Cable was spot on thanks to the simple guide matching your car and charger. With hindsight I should have ordered a slightly longer cable but that’s my fault!

Purchased the type 2 to type 2 cable to replace original that was supplied with our car in 2022.
The new cable is lighter, more flexible and with choice of two bright colour options as alternative to black, so I purchased the blue one, which is more visible to pedestrians than black when laying on the drive.
It's British made, so even more a bonus!

il y a beaucoup de choix, il est juste dommage que la compatibilité entre marque pour certains produit (moi c'est un câble V2L) ne soit pas mentionnée cela rendrait les recherches plus simples. Le produit semble de qualité

Placed order 27/06, dispatched on 30/06 to ROI and it still hasn’t arrived. I contacted EV & was told I selected standard delivery at the checkout which can take 4-10 business days for delivery. At checkout it says free ‘express’ delivery. Bitterly disappointed it still hasn’t arrived. Had I know it would take this long for something to be sent from the UK to ROI I would have purchased elsewhere. Hopefully it’s worth the wait whenever it arrives. I do have to add though that the chat function was great as I was able to chat with someone to get advise on what cable was best for my car.
Just disappointed that the shipping advise on website was a bit misleading however I do look forward to receiving my cable.
