Prompt service some quality issues
The cable supplied came fairly quickly, but is not completely compatible with my car. I think the manufacturing of the locking slots in the connector which are not within the expected tolerances. It took some wiggling and three attempts to get the car to lock the cable in place.

Easy ordering and delivered within 2 days. Cable and unit are running a lot cooler than one i had from another company which ran too hot and cracked the socket before failing.
Charging at just over 2kw which is ideal as 18kw battery. Great so far.

I purchased an ev granny charger it is a great peice of kit, it works a treat and it's easy to use. Manufactured in the uk and you can easily buy an extended warranty cheaply for peace of mind.

Great customer service from EV Cables…
Great customer service from EV Cables less so from Royal Mail who delivered the cable to the wrong District Office. However, EV Cables found out when it would be delivered to let me know.

EV Cables supplied a new 10m cable for…
EV Cables supplied a new 10m cable for our home charger, and it has been used now a few times with no issues. It is surprisingly much lighter than the 5m cable supplied with the car but has no problem supplying 7kW whilst being easier to handle. Ordering and delivery were dealt with quickly and without any fuss - also good to know that the cable was made in the UK.

I ordered a 5 metre cable to replace a heavy Volvo cable
I ordered a 5 metre cable to replace the supplied Volvo cable for my Volvo EX30, as it was too thick, heavy and bulky. Easy to order and quick delivery. The new cable is much better, more flexible and easy to pack in the car.

High quality cable
The cable received appears to be of a high quality, just the length I needed to reach from my charge point to the front of the vehicle, means I can park up in my normal spot and be able to charge the car.
Delivery was okay, dispatch of the cable took a few days.

Excellent support after initial delivery problem
The first attempt to send the cable by DHL got lost enroute somehow. The response from EV Cables was excellent and a new one arrived a few days later. Thank you.

It was lovely speaking to you on the phone and as discussed on the call, our shipment was unfortunately lost by our delivery partner, the moment we became aware, we made it our priority to get things right for you as quickly as possible. We have sent a replacement straight away via DHL Express.
I'm so pleased to let you know that when I checked the tracking this morning, it's out for delivery, so it should be with you today!
We are so sorry you had to go through this. Experiences like yours are pushing us to work even more closely with our delivery partners to make sure this simply doesn't happen again.

The service from this company is outstanding
The service from this company is absolutely first class. I ordered a charging cable and, in my haste, managed to order the wrong length, something that I only realised once the cable was delivered.
I called evcables on a Friday afternoon to explain the situation, and they couldn't have been more helpful. They made a new cable up that afternoon and it was delivered to me the following morning, Saturday.
They helped me with organising the return, even providing discounted P&P, and within five days they had the old cable and I received a full refund.
An outstanding performance and one I won't forget. I have no hesitation in recommending these guy's to anyone.

If you're charging your EV from an ordinary 3 pin plug you need the proper extension lead. Look on the evacables website and choose the right one for you. That's exactly what I did, and I now charge my EV safely.

EVCables extender is really useful
EVCables extender is really useful. It adds the length needed for my granny charger for when we're staying places without a faster, installed charger. It also makes charging from the house safer as cables can be laid straight and then covered this becoming less of a trip hazard and charged out of the letterbox so the home can remain secure. Delivery from EVCables was efficient and communicative. Royal Mail was another story, but that's not EVCables' fault.
