Do not use!

Do not use! They emailed us 5 hours before our booking saying the stripper is unwell but they can get us another but we have to pay an extra £150 for them to get to us. I text the stripper and he said they told him to go to a different job and wasn’t unwell. SCAM

We manage around 110–160 bookings most weekends with roughly a 97% attendance rate, and when cancellations do happen it’s most commonly due to genuine illness. That said, we’re not perfect, and we admit we occasionally get things wrong.

To be completely clear, we do not run scams — and we strongly refute that suggestion. If an entertainer becomes unavailable close to the booking time, we’ll always try to source a replacement, but depending on where the booking is located and how last-minute the change is, additional travel costs can sometimes apply. However, this should be explained clearly, handled professionally, and never feel like pressure or a surprise.

Because no town/city is mentioned in your review, it’s also worth noting that in some rural areas we experience higher cancellation rates due to the limited availability of entertainers — and that can make last-minute replacements more challenging and travel-heavy.

We’d really like to look into the exact booking, the messages sent, and what was said to you versus the entertainer, as that doesn’t sound right. Please email us with the booking name/date and any screenshots you have, and we’ll investigate properly and come back to you directly.

Same as all the other reviews, cancelled tonight when the booking is tomorrow due to illness. No offer of a refund just replacement services which aren’t of interest. I’m sure they will attempt to deny any knowledge of my booking but my booking number is 9874 & I have the emails. It’s a shame you can’t add photos to reviews so they can’t deny bookings are legit. Absolutely disgusting what they do, taking money & giving false hope & letting people down when it is too late to make other arrangements.

Avoid this company at all costs, booked this 3 months in advance for my nans 60th who is obsessed with midgets and this would have made her night. Got an email along with a text the night beforehand saying there was a problem with the booking. Claiming the midget was ill but they could offer us a stripper instead. £120 deposit paid to pay £200 cash on the night, absolute scam, please do not fall for it like we did!!! They also claim they will not accept reviews on Trust Pilot as their official page is reviews.io where they of course are all 5 star, cant even write an official review on this page!

Advertised 25 minutes, delivered just 6

We booked a male stripper for a leaving party and were very disappointed. He arrived an hour late and the show lasted only 6 minutes, confirmed by CCTV, despite the website advertising a 25-minute immersive performance with routines and props.
At £145 this was extremely poor value. When I asked for a partial refund, the company showed little concern. Overall, the service did not match the description and I would not recommend.

UPDATE / Reply to Management:
I want to clarify that I did book directly with Evengo (booking reference 9710), name Charles Hall, £145). CCTV confirms the performance lasted 6 minutes, not the 25 minutes advertised on the website. The entertainer was also 1 hour late, despite repeated calls claiming he was “3 minutes away.”
This is not about “expectations” — it is about services not delivered as advertised. I also have email correspondence from Evengo acknowledging lateness. My review is genuine and verifiable.

I do wish I had found these reviews…

I do wish I had found these reviews before booking with this awful company. I booked months in advance. Chose a male stripper/butler to the liking of my bestfriend (for her hen) a black man, dressed as a fireman. Sadly, this is far from what arrived. And to make it worse, the stripper that did arrive brought no props, I had to provide a blindfold and stickers for games. The stripper could clearly see that he wasn’t what the party were expecting. He told me to complain. Which I have done, to only receive a email asking me to read the t&c’s that I’d agreed too - these state “minor changes to performers” - I’m sorry but asking for a black man and a white man turning up in the wrong outfit and highly unprepared and unprofessional is not a “minor” change.
Terrible company.

I'm actually sat hear waiting for the…

I'm actually sat hear waiting for the stripper that should of arrived at 7 o'clock.. we got a cancellation as the dwaf stripper was ill so had to request someone different and now a no show... no one to contact... and have paid a deposit. My sister 30th birthday ruined.. still waiting on a update to why it was cancelled and hopefully get a refund on my deposit. Honestly if I was you I would avoid this company all together.

Let down last min

Booked well in advance as I wanted a dwarf dressed up as a leprechaun got email and text to say he was sick and no longer available 5 hours before the event then I choose and alternative funny stripper (was for a 70th) to end up getting a text of someone totally different (who did a great job this is not a negative review on him) who I had to go with in the end as it was so last min and had already told everyone, Would never use them again

I had a txt from them on the same day as the performance 4 hours before to be exact saying who i originally booked was not available that someone else will fill in i asked for a picture of who will be doing it instead was not satisfied as it was complete opposite to what i originally booked! Then he said no ine was available so i fine still want you to come he said hes no longer available hope you have a good night. Absolute joke so overall 2 stripper cancelled no shows I've emailed asking for a refund and karen from evengo has stated im not entitled yo a refund!??? Avoid at All Costs – Terrible Customer Service and Shady Practices

I booked a dwarf for a stag do through Evengo and later contacted the company to ask about options for cancelling the event and whether the deposit was refundable. Instead of responding to my enquiry, they immediately went ahead and cancelled my booking without any communication or confirmation from me.

When I followed up, they told me that since the booking had already been cancelled, it couldn’t be reinstated – and that I would need to rebook and pay another deposit. No explanation, no support, and no accountability.

They do not offer a customer service phone line, clearly to avoid dealing with issues like this, and their email responses are dismissive at best. I never received a reasonable explanation as to why the booking was cancelled.

After checking other reviews, I’ve found this seems to be a pattern – poor service, undelivered bookings, and non-refundable deposits being kept.

Absolutely disgraceful customer experience. Avoid this company at all costs.

Avoid. Our event was cancelled the evening before leaving us with not enough time to use another company. Not only this communication was awful. We weren't even called this was cancelled by test message and there was no number to contact them. A large sum or money had also been paid as the deposit. Very poor service

Don't book with these I booked a dwarf…

Don't book with these I booked a dwarf on the morning of the 26th April for that evening in Newcastle to recive a phone call telling me they didn't have one available and to cancel my booking. I cancelled my booking to be told I will not receive my deposit back of £90. After numerous email sent they now say they had one as they had passed my booking around. My argument is I was told to cancel send screen shot of messages from the number they told me that would contact me now I have no reply I've ask for them to phone me still no reply in over a month. So basically they just rob me of £90 and dident provide a service.

Cancelled on the morning of the hen do! after reading the bad reviews I contacted the company expressing my concerns and I was reassured of course by the trustworthy KAREN that our entertainer would 100% be available as it was not a rural area! BIRMINGHAM! She told me that bookings only get cancelled in rural areas. Do not use will ruin your plans! It's funny how often the entertainers get ill, why even bother wasting peoples time u must have a lot of time of your hands KAREN!

DO NOT BOOK WITH EVENGO(B.Holding). Had an absolutely horrific experience. Strippers booked for a ladies night well in advance. Had a text on the day to say both strippers could not attend due to illness/ COVID/ travel issues etc. Apparently their was no alternative. This left me having to cancel my event, refunding tickets & loosing a significant amount of money for deposits paid to Drag Queen/ Security/ Venue/ DJ. Now leaving customers I actually value extremely disappointed! Avoid at all costs! Have saw many other reviews with people that have had a similar issue. If cancellations are more frequent in rural areas due to travel maybe your services shouldn’t be available in those areas to prevent this from happening! I would give 0 stars I could! Horrible experience & apart from a meaningless apology & being told I will get my deposit back, their has been no resolution, no offer to compensate my losses or even an offer for a discounted service in future (not that I would ever book through EVENGO again). EDIT: Rather than just using reviews from Review.IO from the few customers that actually received services they had paid and booked for that had the option of leaving a review of making it on to your website, why don’t you find a way to verify me(&others) as customers that have left honest reviews on TrustPilot & include them too! Atleast they will know what to expect! Might save some disappointment for your future customers!

We genuinely understand how upsetting and frustrating it must have been to face a cancellation on the day of your event. As a team that works hard to ensure everything runs smoothly, we know how disappointing it can be when things go wrong — and we admit we are not perfect and occasionally fall short.

We’d like to clarify that in some areas, we experience higher cancellation rates due to the limited availability of entertainers. While we always aim to deliver the exact acts as booked, unforeseen illnesses or travel issues can sometimes disrupt plans with very little notice, despite our best efforts.

It’s truly unfortunate that this situation led to the cancellation of your event and impacted other services you had arranged. That’s never the experience we want any of our clients to have.

Shocking - Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs!! Paid our deposit for a booking months ago, then had a email the day before the booking to say the stripper was ‘unwell’ so they re-arranged for a different type of stripper. We agreed to this, even though it wasn’t what we wanted, then on the day of the event they cancel the whole booking due to their words ‘COVID, Illness, Acts/entertainers no longer available and Major Travel issues’. Absolute disgrace of a company, they never had any intention of ever sending anyone out. Do not book here, please listen to the other 1star reviews on here! Shocking.

Update - if the ‘IO reviews’ is legit then how come I am not able to add a review onto there? Looks very fake to me!

We completely understand your frustration — especially after agreeing to a replacement act and then being let down on the day.

While every effort is made to ensure an entertainer attends as planned, unforeseen illnesses and travel issues can unfortunately disrupt even the best-laid plans.
We’re not perfect, and we admit we occasionally get things wrong, but it’s simply not true that we have no intention of sending someone — we are absolutely committed to fulfilling every booking.

In some rural areas, we do experience higher cancellation rates due to the limited availability of entertainers, and this can sadly impact bookings at short notice.
