Booked a midget stripper months in…

Booked a midget stripper months in advance for today. Paid £70. Emailed this morning to say he couldn’t come due to illness. Asked if we wanted a funny or sexy stripper as an alternative, all confirmed for the same time as originally booked and just 2 hours before they messaged to say he can’t make it until later tonight. We have other plans for the hen and this has completely messed up our day! Never ever book with these as there seems to be an ongoing theme they use to scam people! Absolutely disgusting!

Disgusting

If I could have rated them 0 stars I would have. Booked the male dwarf strippper months in advance for my sisters hen do (yesterday), just to receive an email 4 hours before he was so supposed to arrive saying he can’t because he’s ill. We chose the funny stripper just for him to message us saying he will be here for 12.45am. Tried to ring the company but it’s all automated I have sent them an email asking for my deposit back and for someone to contact me. The stripper then tried to spin it around and say he will tell the company that we cancelled because he wouldn’t drop everything to come straight to us. We rang around for another stripper who came and said what an absolute shambles this company is. DO NOT USE save yourself the stress

DO NOT BOOK A DWARF STRIPPER WITH THIS COMPANY

I booked a dwarf stripper for my friends hen party, months in advance! On the morning of the hen party I got an email to say due to illness the stripper was not available and I have two other options, a funny stripper or a regular stripper!

After speaking with other companies it came to light that dwarf strippers are falsely advertised on these sites, your deposit is taken and then they tell you your stripper is ill and offer you an alternative! This is a SCAM

I chose a funny stripper. In the evening the stripper called me one hour prior and he was a regular stripper! I told him not to come and I’d speak with the company. I soon found out the company is email only and there is nobody available to speak with over the phone!

I sent a few emails asking for a quick response and received an automated email telling me my stripper had been changed and I would get a funny stripper!

At 8.55pm I received a phone call from another stripper, I asked if he was funny n he said no I’m a regular stripper but I can do a bit of a funny dance……SERIOUSLY

I emailed Evengo and included my number asking them to ring me urgently and got no response, I told the stripper not to come and wanted a full IMMEDIATE refund!!

Of course this did not happen I was told it would take 7-10 working days, what a load of nonsense, they could of done a quick bank transfer allowing us to spend the money over the hen weekend we had planned!!

Avoid this company at all costs!! The customer service is shocking and I spent most of what should of been a fun night trying to organise a stripper that I had organised months in advance

Absolutely stealing con artist

Absolutely stealing con artist. Nothing like advertised. Stripper nothing like advertised once they got in contact so I cancelled. No refund. Fast forward a few months and they take a further £110 out my Bank. No contact from them. I am now in contact with my bank and will be phoning the police as they are now just stealing my money. DO NOT USE

EDIT as I can’t reply. So why take deposits? So you are telling me we don’t get the product we ask for so we cancel lose our deposit and then get charged full for something that isn’t even on your website? AVOID THESE SCAMMERS. I will be taking this further and posting this everywhere as you are conning people and it isn’t ok. DO NOT USE
PAID £95 deposit and then charged £110 2 months after I cancelled as the stripper that contacted me was 50/60 and completely not what was expected. TERRIBLE company.

Hired a Dwarf for my pals stag do

Hired a Dwarf for my pals stag do. I had read some of the reviews on here which had me slightly worried. I did receive an email telling me 24hrs before the event the entertainer had pulled out through illness but they could provide strippers, which wasn't a great option for me or the stag do. However I received a message a teatime saying they had found another entertainer in Newcastle who would come up. Which was a fair hike considering we are on the north east coast of Scotland. Luke Phoned me and arranged his visit, he was absolutely brilliant and a great sport. Well done Evengo. Thought I would give you some positive feedback as you deserve it. Thank you.

Ordered a Roly poly for my sons 30 th then to receive a message 2 hrs before saying due to illness she couldn’t make it so they gave us 2 choices of strippers so chose 1 who was coming at 9 pm , at 8.59 I text and asked where she was to be told she wasn’t coming!!! Really !! What an absolute joke £65 deposit probably won’t see that again they should be taken down

Hen night party

As previously stated below. Deposit taken at time of booming, no contact from the company what so ever. Stripper contacted 2 hours before he was due to arrive then. Very vague message. I had to ask the stripper what play list I needed etc. Then 30mins before he was due he called that his tyre was flat and would be another hour.

When he eventually arrived he was nit what I booked. Then he started getting ready. Jogging bottoms and a 'police' outfit when I explained I ordered a cowboy theme he said he told the agency that he didn't have this outfit and asked them to contact me to let me know. Which they never did. For some strange reason my 'policeman' that looked as if he walked off a building site wearing a balaclava 🤷 done some strange strip. Stopped mid way and asked the dj to skip the song. Done some other strange moves then said he was available for photos.

When speaking to the stripper outside after his 'performance' I advised that it wasn't him I booked (he wasn't even on the website) and I showed him the picture of the person I thought I had booked he told me that they do not work for the company, it was old strippers they had advertised.

When I contacted the company and asked for a refund they declined a refund and sent me a list of terms that basically came back and said that they can't guarantee a certain stripper/outfit and they will send a suitable replacement. So it's basically get what they send and not what you book.

The whole party was disappointed with the experience.

Edit as I couldn't reply to the feedback reply I was in Glasgow. So a main area of the city. And also according to the stripper the guys on the website are all old employees so at no time ever would I have received the person I booked. I also did email over feedback and I requested a refund and was told I wasn't entitled to a refund as the T&C state that things change. Yes I understand things change however its not a change if the person no longer works for you. They should be off the site and not advertised to 'perform' and also the stripper made you aware he didn't have the right outfit requested and asked you to call me and explain which never happened.

Scamming False Advertisemers!! Do not use!

Recently helped plan an event using this company as per the below review from Cody, the service from this company is abysmal. If you search their review pictures on google, they’re from Pinterest, a newspaper advert and a random butlers website not related to this. SCAMMING FALSE ADVERTISERS

extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the services provided by your company, specifically in regards to the hiring of a stripper for an event, if you could call her that. I am appalled by the false advertising and the utterly horrific performance delivered by the individual who was sent to entertain our guests.

First and foremost, the “entertainer” who arrived at our event was a far cry from the individual advertised on your website. Not only did they fail to resemble the advertised performer physically, but their attire was entirely inappropriate and unprofessional. Instead of the enticing and professionally dressed entertainer promised, we were presented with someone clad in jogging bottoms and a "nurses" top that looked more akin to a tablecloth than a costume and fluffy socks.

Furthermore, the performance itself was utterly degrading and completely missed the mark of what was expected and discussed beforehand! Instead of providing a fun and entertaining experience for our guests, the individual made everyone present uncomfortable. Liz also told me that the performer I had hired doesn’t exist, what you have done is false advertising and is completely illegal.

It is evident that the services provided by Evengo did not meet the standards outlined on your website, nor did they align with my expectations. As a paying customer, I feel utterly let down and disrespected by the lack of professionalism and the blatant disregard for the advertised services.

I demand a full refund for the services rendered, as they were not only subpar but also completely misrepresented. Additionally, I urge your company to take immediate action to rectify this situation and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. I do not accept that you will not be providing a refund, and I will be reporting to ASA for false advertising and trading standards.

For your reference, Liz who turned up isn’t even advertised on your site at all! Nor was I contacted prior to notify me of any changes to the performer or outfit!

My advice to anyone who is thinking of using evengo is DONT!!! You have no idea who you could be letting into your event!
This website is a complete and utter SCAM AND FALSE

Misrepresentation of Service Availability: My personal experience, along with reports from other customers, indicates that Evengo advertises services that are not actually available. In my case, I booked a dwarf entertainer in Liverpool, a service prominently featured on their website. However, after taking the deposit, they informed me that they do not have any dwarf entertainers available in Liverpool. This bait-and-switch tactic is a classic sign of a scam, where services are advertised to lure customers in, only to reveal later that these services cannot be provided.

Non-Refundable Deposits for Non-Existent Services: The core of the scam lies in the company's handling of deposits. Customers are required to pay a deposit at the time of booking, based on the assumption that the advertised service is available. However, once Evengo reveals the unavailability of the service, they do not refund the deposit. This practice indicates a deliberate strategy to earn money through false advertising.
Automated Phone System and Poor Customer Service: The inability to directly speak with a representative further adds to the problem. When customers try to resolve issues or seek refunds, they are met with an automated phone system, making it nearly impossible to have a meaningful interaction or dispute the service.

Dubious Business Practices and Reputation: The information about the company's operational practices, such as the alleged low pay for staff and the owner's strategy of accepting deposits for bookings that are unlikely to materialize, paint a picture of a business model that is not customer-centric but rather focused on generating income through dubious means.
