IF I COULD GIVE ZERO I WOULD. Absolute scam. We booked a young sexy male stripper for my friends hen do. And got a 5ft pot bellied 50 year old bald man. Please be aware the images online do not represent what you will get. They wouldn't refund us because in the T&C's it states that the images 'indicate' what you may have. Only thing our stripper had in common with the pictures online was that he was the same species. AVOID

I have no complaints! Reliable and great service

Seeing all the negative reviews I was really worried booking, I emailed Karen direct and she explained why there are sometimes cancellations etc but assured the area we was in (bath) there would be no problems!

Stripper contacted me 2 hours before as advised be would and was fantastic entertainment for my friends hen!

I think for piece of mind it might be better for some contact earlier than two hours before the event but please don’t take all the negative reviews to heart as this company were very reliable for me!

Had a dwarf hired that cancelled the night before the stag do. Given another option of a drag who cancelled an hour before we were meant to meet. Beware booking in the Norwich area horrendous service.

Ordered a stripper & drag act for a…

Ordered a stripper & drag act for a stag. Stripper that turned up was not the one we order. The drag that turned up was a 21 year old GIRL dressed to look like drag! Unbelievable.
Complained, told not getting a refund due to their T&C's. Had their T&C's review by a solicitor. Turns out they're illegal! Have contacted trading standards & commencing small claims court. AVOID !

Please do not part with your money!!

Update today (29/04/25) on the review below which was left on 08/04/25): I received the company reply quickly after leaving the main review which asks me to get in touch with Gemma so that the matter could be given 'the attention it deserves'

I forwarded on the evidence and attachments that I had originally sent which included booking reference so that they could easily find my booking and tie it up with the original complaint made under the name of Elaine Stones.

It would appear their reply to me on here, was just for Trustpilot. I have not heard a thing. Chased up again last week, and to date, nothing. I shouldn't be surprised really, given how I've been treated and ignored and this proves my original review.

I'll add this to the Trading Standards case and other bodies.
I have been contacted by a couple of people already who were considering booking and will continue to answer any questions as I really wish I had looked at the reviews beforehand. Lesson learned!!

Utter scam!
Paid £50 deposit online. The remaining £150 was to be paid in cash to the entertainer on the night.
I chose outfit and booked the time as requested.
The entertainer turned up, severely disabled (not his fault but we did not feel comfortable asking him to strip as it really did not seem acceptable and not the vibe we were looking for - all very awkward. He turned up in the wrong outfit and far too early.
He did not have any plan, any dance or routine so we the whole thing became very cringey and awkward very quickly. It seemed he had no idea of what to do.
I complained via email later that evening as it was so upsetting and not anything of what was booked or intended.
I received very vague response saying 'we usually have good feedback' (I highly doubt that) yet what had that got to do with our experience? The excuse for the wrong outfit was that 'some outfits get damaged!!!'
Nothing else was addressed and they advised that the complaint could not be upheld. They just did not care in the slightest, not the least bit interested.
Once they have your money that's it. Horrendous company.
The website and photos are nothing like the reality so please be aware and save your money.
They will no doubt deny this but I am willing to send footage, supply my complaint and the shocking responses to anyone who wishes to see them. I am unable to use email in here but if you wish to contact me: Elaine Stones Scunthorpe on Messenger. (this account is in my husbands name).
I don't know what else could have gone wrong for me to have qualified for a full refund, honestly, but not offered a penny, just an offer of a £30 voucher toward any future bookings.... really??

They should do - stars for this company,they are disgusting!
I booked a stripper for a friends 40th Birthday and the whole day had been planned around that I had communication with the guy up until the time he was meant to show.
He ignored me messages and my phone calls I left him an voicemail asking where he was and that I wasn't happy.
He never showed and I had to wait until the Monday to speak to someone via email I did this and was told that the guy had told them that he told me about a safety issue with our venue(this was a house) but I hadn't had anything from him so that there is a LIE!
I was then told that he had received a abusive voicemail which ner happened so another LIE!
I have been told I am not getting a refund and then they put the T&C's in the email.
Please stay away from this company there is no customer service and they take your money with no intention of giving a refund.

1 star is still too much for this business. The way they do business is utterly appalling and I advise any one looking to book to STAY AWAY. They cancelled our stripper on the morning of the event and I couldn’t get in touch with anybody. They are refusing to give me my deposit back and ignoring all my emails. The way they can take people money in times as they are is disgusting. Find someone else!!!!! Do not use!!!!

Don't waste your time

Only putting 1 as it ismt letting me put zero. Company seemed great to begin with but the day before the event I was told they couldnt do the time wanted so would be later, I then get a message from the performer saying he wouldn't be there for newly arranged time and he didn't have the outfit we required. he said the company would send me someone else. company confirmed that night ir wasnt a problem and i would have a new performer, I asked for a photo and heard nothing back. woke up the following morning (day of the event) to a cancellation email due to covid/ performer illness and nothing else. It completly ruined our event as I wasn't able to source a new performer despite another company trying tirelessly for the whole day (for zero fee, we have since rebooked a new date with party strip andthey are amazing) it seems from previous reviews that this is the normal procedure for this company I just wish I had read these before booking. STEER CLEAR

Do not book the male stripper in Manchester via Evengo.co.uk

Here are the specific issues we encountered:

1.
Incorrect Performer: The performer who arrived was not the one we had booked. Instead, an older gentleman who was giving weird cringe dance, who did not match the description or style we were expecting, was sent.
2.
Poor Quality Performance: The performance was disappointingly brief, lasting only about 14 minutes. It felt rushed and was far from the quality we had anticipated.
3.
Outfit Mix-up: The performer arrived in an army outfit, despite our request for a fireman outfit, as indicated in the booking. This miscommunication further contributed to our dissatisfaction.
4.
Unprofessional Conduct: The performer arrived 15 minutes early and, after finishing his brief performance, mentioned that he had several other bookings that evening, including in Burnley and Manchester. This left us feeling like our event was not given the proper attention or care.

I wish I could give 0! Hired a dwarf for hen party, had message 2 days before to say that due to illness I would have to choose alternative act, went with drag act who turned up brought absolutely nothing to the day, drunk our drinks, and the went off with another group! When I complained was basically told - they have done everything they had told us they would do, replied saying I wasn’t happy and haven’t heard anything back! Some serious CS issues that need resolving if they are looking for repeat custom! I would never use again

AVOID! HARASSING AND INTIMIDATION

AVOID!! INTIMIDATION and HARASSMENT!

I can’t believe I’m writing this as I always write positive reviews but I genuinely feel sick to the stomach.

I’ve raised a complaint to the complaints email and to their general email. Tried calling their number but every option is automated.

I paid for a stripper for an upcoming event. Required to pay the £60 deposit and £95 to the stripper on the day.

I then get texts from the stripper asking the preferences for the event which was fine and expected as per their website.

Then few days later I am being asked to transfer him £40 EXTRA in advance. I asked him, so deduct this from from the £95 on the day. He said no needs it because he’s 2 hours away! Then I sent him a screenshot of my order to advise that it was £60 deposit and £95 to him in cash (which I already have withdrawn and actually took out £100 ready for him) from the ATM. Then after my screenshot he then said ok how about £15/20! And that he prefers something if not don’t worry.

The stripper then tries to backtrack and won’t stop messaging me and I now feel harassed and intimidated. Because if I was to continue the service I would feel intimidated as I have refused to pay extra than what was advertised.

So I’ve complained to the company and explicitly asked them to cancel this service and to refund me first before informing the stripper so I can block his number to stop being harassed. They completely ignored my concerns and keep saying everything is proceeding as normal!

Well as expected I then get another message from the stripper about my complaint and now he’s not happy and wants me to reassure this company that it was all wrong!

The stripper won’t stop harassing me, I feel intimidated as he has my address and the company Evengo are not addressing my concerns just that you only need to pay £95. Completely ignoring on how this experience has made and continue to make me feel and now I’m anxious about what should be a fun day celebrating a hen do of him arriving on my doorstep!

As per the terms and conditions I can’t cancel this service without forfeiting the £60 despite I’m the victim! So I’ve asked repeatedly for them to cancel and refund me the £60.

This review will be published everywhere so others don’t have to experience the anxiety, intimidation and harassment I am currently experiencing.

I am now going to contact the police about the harassment and then report to trading standards as despite I have offered a simple resolution, they rather give me anxiety all week and keep £60 like it’s £60,000!

Now I’m fully expecting a reply of please reach out to me via complaints email or phone us so we can resolve this. Well I have done this already hence this review.

Evengo, please read this in full as my emails are not being fully acknowledged and you seem to find me feeling harassed, intimidated and anxious as a confusion on my part and it’s ok for this to continue!

Isn’t it funny you reply on here then via the emails and complaint procedure!

Also this is the first time I’m hearing now this is the reason? When did I say I wanted extra services? Also if you read the text messages as you clearly haven’t read the text messages in full and have gone on his word you see he wanted to stay on for free as he has nothing else to do and fancied the bride!

Also how can I speak to the booking team when the booking, complaint or any so called team on Evengo won’t reply but you’ve told the stripper that you have now cancelled him (great) but haven’t told me because you don’t want to forfeit the £60 and potentially the whole £155 as if we cancel we have to pay the full amount!

So I now have written proof you have cancelled the event and more as your stripper won’t stop texting and harassing me despite you cancelled him, it’s now been reported to the police and my bank. So you can explain to the police and soon the trading standards (as they’re will also receive a complaint).

Please note that the standard service includes only what is listed on the website. Any additional services would require extra payment.

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company.
Hired a dwarf for 6pm for a party. I was contacted 3 days before asking if the dwarf could come at 1pm instead. After refusing the 1pm I then got a message 1 night before saying that unfortunately they have to cancel due to illness. It was very obvious that there was another job offered to them.
You have to pay the £90 deposit instantly but apparently it take 7-10 working days to get your money back.

We tried to change the time to 1pm, but since that didn’t work for you, we unfortunately had no option but to cancel the booking. We acknowledge that entertainers can sometimes face unexpected issues such as illness hence why we may have tried to attempt to get another entertainer at a different time (as they might have been booked at the time you originally booked)

We also offer other services similar (handcuffed related) but completely understand that you did not want to proceed with this.

S C A M!!!!

On the 24th March I booked a dwarf stripper for a hen party on the 2nd of August. £90 deposit was taken immediately, the remaining was due to be taken in person on the night. I emailed the week before to confirm timings and that everything was ok for the night and the emailed back reassuring it was all going ahead. Then on the 31st July (2 days before) I had an email to say that the entertainer had cancelled due to illness. There was the option to have 2 alternatives, “a funny stripper” or “a sexy stripper”. I chose the funny stripper and then received a confirmation email. On the 2nd of August, the day of the event, I received a text message to say that the other entertainer had cancelled. This was 4 hours before he was supposed to turn up. No explanation! It looks like this a recurring theme. Wish I had seen these awful reviews before booking.
You can’t actually speak to anyone when you ring, it’s all an automated voice recording. I would avoid this company at all costs and don’t waste your money like we did!

Scam avoid !!

Booked weeks ago a dwalf for my friends hen party paid £90 deposit they cancelled in the day said the dwalf was ill offered me a stripper which I did not want, the other option was to cancel that I was forced into, I received an email saying they was keeping the deposit since then be been ignored you can’t speak to anyone one big scam avoid
Edit just had a reply now I’ve left a review so if the dwalf was unavailable then I should get a refund?
No refund been offered !!!

Our goal is to provide alternative solutions in such situations, though I understand that a stripper was not a suitable replacement for your event. It is our responsibility to communicate any changes or delays effectively, and I regret it seems this was not your experience.

Please note, we do not operate scams - when you select an alternative which we give you the options either to cancel with a full refund or proceed with another option. However, if you proceed with another option then cancel you would not receive a refund as all terms are transferred over.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Just a shame I had to give this so called company a 1 star is well above there experience&capability of running a scam of a business ROSY HOLDING FUNERAL SERVICE AND CREMATORIUM (EVENGO) I would AVOID this company like the plague no stripper no replacement had a stripper booked since march got all the confirmation txts emails your stripper is booked and he cancelled 3 hour before the party on sat just gone tried to ring 02038805753 automatic line for my £90 deposit back nothing tried ringing the number the stripper cancelled on only to be put back onto the crappy automated landline dont even bother wasting your time with emails as they dont reply to them either get intouch with your bank thankfully I got my refund back threw my bank .ROSY HOLDING then tried to take another £90 from my bank today until the bank stopped it and have a cheek to hide behind a funeral service when your services are hen,stag party,strippers etc please avoid this company nothing but a headache totally scamming scheming individual......GEMMA PLEASE DONT REPLY ON HERE AS YOU COULD OF DONE IT SOONER BY EMAIL

Seems like a scam

Seems like a scam! We booked a dwarf stripper as the website advertised full availability, paid the £90 deposit and then they cancelled last minute. I have since tried calling and sending 3 emails asking for my deposit back, but of course they have ignored me. It’s strange how they ignore emails but reply to reviews with repeated generic answers. Maybe “Gemma” who answers reviews could help by answering emails and paying my deposit back?

Stay away, save your money

Picked the dwarf I wanted and selected the costume. Closer to the date a female dwarf contacted me to say that she was attending and asked what costume I wanted her in. Told her I wanted a male dwarf. Got in touch with Evengo and apparently they only had Zita available yet you could still book 4 male dwarfs for that day. From reading these reviews I doubt even Zita would of turned up. What an absolute con and stay away. Go elsewhere otherwise your day will be ruined. I have contacted the bank and they named the transaction before id told them the amount of date id paid, the name for the transaction is ROSY H so how would they know it's dwarf hire? Obviously got red flags all over this company!!

What a joke

What a joke, booked a stripper well in advance, paid deposit, had confirmation stripper rang on the morning to say all is good, but my original stripper wasn’t available, ok went on then was demanding another £100 so we went with ok, I hired a room and everything, 9.45 he was due at 9.43 I received a message to say he couldn’t make it, it rewind the night, what a bloody joke. I emailed the company no apologies just going to send my deposit that’s it, never mind all the extra money iv paid out for the room then trying to find someone last minute, do not use this company, joke
