I was sent money from Canada on Thursday, it stated in the website that the money would be here by 7pm on a weekday but if it’s a weekend I can only get my money on Monday during upcoming week. This is BS because I needed the money ASAP that’s why I did everything on Thursday but this website is making me wait from Thursday to Monday, am I a f#*@king fool or do you not see me as a potential customer?! This is False Advertising
Appalling service
Appalling service, the claim to be able to send to Macau but cant. They then refuse to repay me until I send sensitive information ie my bank statement. That is not required when the money is going back from a Uk account to the Uk Account which sent It.

I've used Exchange 4 Free for around 10 years to transfer from UK to South Africa. Once you're setup with them it all works well. It takes a few days for the transfer to reflect but I haven't come across a company that does it any faster.
They are also helpful over email or phone to resolve any issues.

If used Ex4Free for three years to send money to Malawi, some funds have got to my beneficiary in three or four days, other payment have not been as fast but Ex4Free have always resolved the problem quickly. I would recommend them for sending money abroad from the UK.

I have used exhchange4free for a few years now. But the last 2 years i could not log in . Changed my telephone number 5 times before it was changed. i was recently told another person has the same email and name as mine, but a different address and telephone. they will sort it out. i made a transfer to south Africa 6 weeks ago and discovered the money is received but not paid out. i contacted them and was told the recipient has not signed the tax declaration for 2019. i have asked for a refund and since then get no response from the, they start to chat but then go offline? ignore my emails.

Do not use this company- It was given to me as the portal for making a payment to Wild Dog Safaris in Namibia.
It says that you can make payment vis credit card and that it is processed in your home currency (Australian) with no fees attached (apart from the +2.5% cc fee).
what actually happened is that it is processed (via CBA anyway) as a cash withdrawal in a foreign currency and so there are multiple fees attached plus you start paying interest on your whole cc balance immediately as it is processed as a cash withdrawal. Also there is a "service fee" attached to Exchange4free! So I have encountered 5 lots of fees plus ongoing interest charges for using this company. I have reviewed their platform for payment on Wild Dog Safaris payment page in case i missed any of this in their terms and conditions but nowhere is any of this indicated. Avoid

Exchange4free was recommended to me by a friend who works with them through Airbnb,which is in itself a credit to them.The reviews were really offputting, until I rang them and Andre explained about bulking up small payments as well as undeveloped and third world countries plus other factors,which delay the process.His explanations put the reviews into perspective.I had a reasonably large amount of money to change ,had never moved money internationally before and had also done some research.Without a doubt Xchange4free offered the best rates.Having spoken to them and had my fears allayed, I went ahead and used them.They were on hand for me right through the process, giving expert advice on a really difficult and urgent deal.I can honestly say it was a pleasure dealing with them and above all, at no time did I feel worried that the money was in jeopardy, as they are open and transparent.I cannot recommend them enough and it is a really good feeling to know that there is a company that you can trust with your hard earned funds.

very slow in making money transfers , normally 3 to 5 working days , occasionally on same day, payments to China at least 7 days. South Africa average 3 days!
Very unprofessional!
Very unprofessional!! Do not use!!! This was my second time using exchange4free, my first time was sending airtime to another country, that seemed to go fine but only my credit card was accepted so I paid a lot for that transaction.
This time, just yesterday I used their service to send money to another country, they asked me for verification after sending an EFT to EFT. It seemed very sketchy and I thought carefully about sending my bank details and passport information to some company I know nothing of. So I took a screenshot of my payment from my bank account, and ensured my bank details showed. I sent them a copy of their text to me that my payment was in process. I kept sending emails responding to all their questions for my refund but no one responded. I called their customer service, they told me that it takes 2-3 working days to process. The lady said it has gone through the payment (really? but compliance team says they can't process my payment without my personal information sent to them and a guarantor's letter)... Right now, I am so scared that they've technically stolen my money. I'll send this review everywhere so people stay clear

Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever. Wouldn't trust them with my money. First I wanted to send money to my wife in Philippines. They say on the website that they have hundreds of cash pick-up points in the country. However I can't find where exactly I can find their partner or branch. So I asked in life-chat about it. First the guy chatting with me was probably stupid or something because when I asked him about place to pick-up cash in our city he gave me place about 1000km away from it with even different name of the city so it wasn't confusing! Then when I repeated which city I am interested in it took him an hour to find it. And he probably would never send it to me if I didn't remind him that I'm still waiting..after an hour of waiting I asked him "are you still there" - he replied "how can I help you" so I wrote him that I'm still waiting for his answer then he repeated again that you have points nationwide AGAIN the same answer. After over hour I got an answer but I will not use it because I don't trust company who is so slow and not intelligent in their customer service. His name Jared French.

If you care about your personal information, DO NOT deal with this company. Here is my story. I wanted to buy bitcoins online, nothing in the process says I can not do so. So the account was created successfully. After my first transaction, my account was locked and the payment was not canceled. My process is the funds were moved from my bank's line of credit to a savings account which I use only to transfer funds. When I saw my account is locked, I went right away and moved the money back to line of credit thinking that the issue is solved and transaction was cancelled. Now Exchange4free still tried to process the transaction after my account is locked and now my account is in overdraft mode (and I don't even have overdraft protection). I talked to my bank and they fixed it by charging me 45$ NSF fee. All of this because Exchange4free wanted me to send them personal documents through EMAIL, yes EMAIL? I refused completely. And I asked them to use alternative method to exchange personal information which they don't get. I have email thread to share if you guys are interested in this. Stay away from this company, it's a joke. You will loose your identity documents.
