I made the decision to upgrade to the annual plan in order to avoid the usage limits imposed by the free version of the service. However, much to my disappointment, after paying upfront for the annual plan, I discovered that there were still limitations on usage. What's worse, if you exceed these limits by editing too much, your account is suspended, albeit "temporarily." Well, it has been two days and counting, and there's no sign of reactivation.

This situation raises serious concerns about the ethical practices of the company. They should have been upfront and transparent about the limits on the number of edits allowed in the paid version. By doing so, customers could have made an informed decision about whether or not to subscribe. Instead, the company implied that there were no such limits in the paid version, enticing customers to subscribe.

Suspending an account "temporarily" and blaming it on server busyness and excessive activity is not only poor customer service but also an unethical practice. It gives the impression that there are no limits with the paid version, which is misleading and deceptive.

My recommendation to the company is to adopt a more transparent approach. Clearly state the number of edits or tokens available per month in the subscription plan. This would prevent paying customers from feeling deceived and frustrated. Transparency is a quality that customers greatly appreciate, and it should be a priority for any reputable vendor.

Edit: Considering the abundance of one-star reviews, it is evident that this company holds paying customers in low regard. As such, it is strongly advised to steer clear of their services to avoid disappointment and frustration.

Very Bad customer services. I paid full one year subscription. I'm not sure how they managed to change my subscription to monthly. After collecting £30. They blocked me. I wrote to them. Even their reply does not make sense. And it's going to one month now. They still hv not sort it out. Very unreliable and dubious site. Keep check of your account if u buy a package as they can trick you to buy yearly and change your payment to monthly so they can rob u of 6 solid month, and spoil your business. Be very careful

FaceApp won't let me use any of the free filters because it says it couldn't verify that my phone is certified. Now every single filter is locked behind a "Pro" paywall. Convenient for them, eh?

It will not detect a face on any of my pictures. I used to use it all the time but now you have to pay for what seems to be a far inferior app than it used to be.

Absolute garbage. Every time I try it out the app puts a large picture of what I originally looked like over the filtered picture so I can't see it! This obviously completely misses the point of using the app in the first place. So, will now be uninstalling and looking for a better app and it is suggested everyone saves their time and does the same

Disgusting app, downloaded this app for a joke one weekend! they have now taken out hundreds of pounds out of my account! stay away. Im in the process of reporting you to trading standards.

The app is wonderful but the customer is the absolute WORST ever and this is the 1st review in my life negative so that should speak volumes!

Purchased one year subscription because I dont do monthly payments on anything because I have money.

Bought a new phone and have new number due to personal issues with stalker and CANNOT in anyway shape or form retrieve my one year subscription in order to use this app.

I’ve spent hours attempting to resume my paid app resulting in ZERO response or actions to restore my service.

This is theft of service and illegal. Basically without allowing users to gain access to change number and device you’re held hostage to free trail mode or pay AGAIN!

For me this isn’t a money thing but a principle thing!

I own a business and CANNOT IMAGINE allowing a person who paid my computer for NOTHING!

I had the app one month before I HAD to change phone and number.

So for two months now while wasting my tone trying to figure out how to get back I paid for NOTHING but aggregation.

When I posted comments on their FB page they blocked me from warning others. Yet cannot make right on my purchase.

FaceApp is fun. This app allows you to change faces in regards to hair, gender, makeup, obesity. There are many options and best thing is the quality of them comes out fantastic, amazingly automatically photoshopped. It is free, you can choose to pay and get a pro monthly subscription or one time $50 payment, however I believe this is too high of a price as this is an app you use for fun which you will only use a handful of times.

Faceapp is a good application with very good results when it comes to editing your face, I think that many media have classified it as a virus because it comes from Russia but it is safe to use, I consider that you should only use the application to touch up some detail or it will create a false image of you which is very easy to get used to seeing it as something real.

I have a lot of fun with this app, change my heir and gender with my girl friends and all, I just love it.

Cool app, but be aware, heard that they sell your personal data

I am a bit surprised that so popular app simply do not have any reviews here, basically for some people it's sort of snapchat killer and was invented long before it anyway. And it's continue to gain it's popularity anyway. What do you here ? Install it;)
