A very good requalification course covering a wide range of topics with additional detail when required or requested in a safe and friendly environment.

Absolutely fantastic and comprehensive training with Pete. I've completed a number of first aid training programmes in the past but this was by far the best.
Repeated discussions and (covid safe) practice for CPR etc which was really helpful in consolidating what we had learnt. Plenty of real-life examples, media clips to demonstrate and a well taught training programme.

First aid training was great. Trainer was knowledgeable, friendly and empathetic.

I attended the 3 day first aid course at West Denton. Thoroughly enjoyed the 3 days and made me far more confident to be able to deal with any first aid situations. Malcolm, the course leader, made everything straight forward and easy to follow and as a result I would be far more inclined to attempt first aid.

Was very interesting and well presented.
All questions were answered with no troubles and everything was explained clearly.

This was an update. The educator was friendly and helpful. We are working under difficult circumstances so it was good to know the current changes and how they affect the response we give.

Fantastic course to learn tony was a top class instructor,gained alot of confidence to be able to give first aid to people who may need it would highly recommend this 3 day course to anyone

The trainer was excellent, he was sympathetic and helped me realised that after carrying out CPR on my neighbour we had done everything we could, and come to terms with the traumatic event.

The trainer was incredibly engaging and not only made us feel at ease but was also helpful in explaining and demonstrating the concepts. I learned a lot of information in such a short amount of time. It helped that he made it very entertaining as well and I truly enjoyed the experience, felt very comfortable, and learned a lot. Thank you for the experience!

I attended the First Aid Training at West Denton Fire Station across 3 days, with the sessions being led by paramedic Phil Brewis. Phil was fantastic at giving clear explanations on not only how to treat a wide range of injuries, but on the scientific processes behind why the body reacts in certain ways. This helped me to understand the logic behind the treatments all the better, which I believe will greatly aid me in remembering the correct procedures should I ever have to use them in a real-life situation. Overall the content was interesting, engaging and very clear, and I feel far more confident in my ability to deliver first aid. Thank you Phil and NEAS!

I completed the 3 day first aid at work course through my workplace. From the first minute I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. As I had never done a first aid related course before this was very reassuring. In addition to this, the information taught on the course was of the highest degree and despite Covid-19 restrictions limiting the hands on tasks we could complete, I felt like everything was made very clear and easily understood. Although being a serious educational course, the tutor Robin made the 3 days incredible and very enjoyable while ensuring we were all very competent in giving first aid.

The NEAS Emergency First Aid at Work course was excellent. The learning was delivered in a well explained and organised manner with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent session with Steve, took the time to identify my learning needs and worked through them together. Made the session very enjoyable and relevant to working during the current pandemic.

Valuable knowledge and very good delivered bls course

I found the training at West Denton training centre extremely thorough yet enjoyable. I was very impressed the training was managed with Covid restrictions observed at all times.
The trainer Pete was amazing and gave us all some top tips from his long experience in the medical profession.
He made the whole two day course a joy.

We have just had the best CPR training session in the practice we can remember. Mark, the paramedic and trainer was excellent. He pitched his training at exactly the right level for the experienced staff and gave our trainee more attention. He was professional yet friendly, calm and thorough. Will book him for next years training session.

First aid training was well delivered and informative.
