Faulty Home Warranty
Faulty Home Warranty, they are actually a limited service repair company. Long waits for repairs or if you want someone contracted to come faster, they charge you anywhere from an extra $75.00 to $275.00 in addition to your service fee and any repairs they don't cover(yes you read that right). I've had individuals contracted with them come to my home and damage my toilet during a plumbing stoppage. After attempts were made to fix the issue on more than one service call, my master bedroom was damaged. So I ask for another company to help and that tech broke my fence and denied it in which I have yet to hear from Fixd about the repair to my fence. I then decided to cancel my service as the year I paid had not termed yet, but was told I may not get a refund because they have to deduct the cost of any repairs done. So you can come to your own conclusion, but thought I'd help the next person from making my same mistake.Also don't cancel your policy if you have filed claim(s) as they will not prorated you and will say your refund exceed the claims. Lesson learned!
Also please refund the prorated amount of my coverage which I termed 2/27, early as it didn't end til June later half.I see you are telling individuals to reach out to the feedback department/email, which I have on numerous occasions and still no reply. If you really want to rectify my bad experience email me and I'm happy to reply with any info needed because calling and chatting through your system is not sufficient. No one ever contacts me back just me constantly contacting you. See now why your terms and conditions were change effective 2/14/2021. I guarantee if you keep doing hardworking individuals like you have you will not be in business much longer as what goes up most come down.

As I myself own a business and understand how it impacts one's business, I never gave any bad review to any business so far. The only reason I am doing this is to educate others on what I went thro' with these guys.
To start, I am giving one star as there is nothing less than that.
I contacted these guys in Jan of 2020 for a 5 ton air-conditioning installation. Sales guy was awesome and he got me a very competitive price. I was really happy to start with. After signing the documents, system was delivered in couple of days and they did basic installation in Feb of 2020. These guys never showed up after that and never completed installation. I did multiple unsuccessful follow-ups until July of 2020. Meanwhile, their accounting department wants me to pay full money and when I told them the situation that the installation was never completed and system never connected, they threatened me that they are going to attach the expenses to my house. I got frustrated with these guys and hired another company to remove the system and install a new system from their company. I sent an email to Fixed Repair folks to come collect the system which they never connected. Fixed folks came and took the system and sent me following message today -
This email confirms we have retrieved our equipment. However, a balance is still due for the labor of the install and removal of the HVAC equipment. The original price for the install and removal of equipment would be $3,000.00. We are discounting half the price for the labor leaving a pending balance of $1,500.00. Please make a payment through the invoice or call me at 469-xxx-xxxx.
Not sure what these guys are thinking about their service. I paid extra to the new company to uninstall and save their system to pick. I am really disappointed with Fixed repair company and I would never ever recommend these guys to anyone. I have complete evidence of what I went thro with these guys.

I wish I saw these reviews before doing business with them. They did a horrible job, it took them all day to do furnace installation, they got black soot all over furniture and walls and didn’t complete the work. I also don’t believe they actually installed a new furnace because it sounds worse than my old one. After I paid they will not respond to requests for someone to come out and complete work.

Can experience long wait times
Overall they get the problem fixed, customer service responds fast too, however, wait times to get a repair person out can be way too long. They wanted to leave me 10 days with no AC, and 2 weeks with no friedge/freezer.

Protect yourself... DO NOT use this company
I have been dealing with this company for a few months now. So far my experience with customer service and their technicians has been the worse; lies from both side, false promises and rudeness. First, my clothes dryer broke down a couple months ago and we are still waiting to hear from them on parts and a potential repair date. Secondly, two weeks ago my washer machine broke down, the tech did not show to my first repair appointment, then when they rescheduled, the guy that came, only looked at it for a couple of minutes and diagnosed it (without doing any trouble shooting whatsoever), I am really hoping the part that he ordered for us the the correct one. On top of that, they committed to schedule my repair after business hours or on the weekend and they keep fighting it stating that the only company they use does not do weekend of after hours repairs, on the other hand, the sub says they can work any date any time for the extra $$ fee. They just keep bouncing the ball all over the place. So sick of them all.

If there ever was a scam for home…
If there ever was a scam for home warranty this company is it. Each individual issue that is found by the technician warrants a separate repair. Take for example a toilet. If that toilet is leaking from the bottom and in the tank with repair tech will only come out for one of the issues and not both. If you would like both issues fixed you have to pay each time for the tech to come out and repair IE:$100 ($50 each charge). That is just your out of pocket charge for a toilet that might not even get fixed. When I tried to speak with someone about the situation it took them almost 3 weeks to get back with me and that is me reaching out to them multiple times via chat and leaving messages on the customer service line. They seem pretty ok with their policies so save yourself the money and go with a more honest warranty company that you can communicate well with. If I had multiple items in the home that needed to be addressed that $500 policy could easily turn into $1500 out of pocket by the time you finish paying for each individual repair for each issue on each item in your home.

Stored Credit Card Info and Charged without Authorization
They invoiced me incorrectly for the complete job and charged my credit card without authorization for the incorrect amount. I received an estimate for a furnace replacement and air conditioner, $8253. They installed the furnace then a week later installed the AC. They invoiced me for $4,698.00 and I paid it using my credit card. After the AC was installed they sent me an incorrect invoice for $9220.50 plus an invoice for $4698. I called immediately and Marvin apologized for the mistake and he would take care of it. Instead they attempted to charge my credit card for $9220.50 several times. With numerous calls and emails they continued to attempt to charge my credit card. I had to suspend my credit card so they could not charge. I paid the initial invoice with my credit card and then they stored the credit card information - without authorization and charged me a signficantly inflated amount than what was due. They only way it was stopped that a customer service rep finally removed the credit card from the system and I suspended my credit card. The situation has been resolved and I have paid the correct amount, $3555.45 vs the $9200 they were charging my card and I have been told the credit card has been removed from their system. I have requested to speak with senior management several times with no response. Storing my credit card without authorization and then charging it, when the invoice was being disputed is unacceptable and should be illegal.

This company is literally the worst
This company is literally the worst! You cannot get in contact with anyone via phone. The system just hangs up on you due to high call volume. The repair company the sent said the called 3 times and emailed and no one got back to them. I finally was able to chat and after 30 minutes finally got through. Just to be told it’s not covered. Do not use this company it is a rip off. Use a local service please. Fixd do not bother to try and reach out, you’ve already said it’s not covered.

If I could put 0 stars I would!! I used this company for 1 year and they never responded in an emergency! They asi did not honor the contract for the new ac unit we bought! Instead they stated that they didn’t have a copy of the contract! Horrible company takes days to get an appointment!!

No response. No Help. Don't use this company!
We're on day 3 in our new home and chose this company trying to stay local and give them a shot and it's been terrible from the start. Unresponsive with an emergency sewage back up - they still haven't returned my call! They don't allow you to schedule the free "rekey" until the first day of the contract then it'll cost you $175 extra to have it done on the first day you own your home. We had to wait 5 days to have our rekey actually be "free." Then don't plan to have anything repaired within a 48 hour time frame or it will cost you $50-$175+ on top of your $50 service fee. This product is not as advertised. On Saturday - day 2 in our new home - the sewage is backing up and Fixd wanted $400 to get an emergency technician out. That's after scouring the internet for their after hours number, leaving a message, and they never returned the call. We called them the next morning! I would give them zero stars if possible. Complaining to customer service does no good. Having our Realtor complain does no good. No response, no help. Don't use this company.

I wanted to be happy with this business, I really did..... but the problems have piled up until they can no longer be ignored. Problem 1: It has been almost two full months since the date of our AC install, and right around the time of the install, I asked the company to give us some basic information to use to fill out a rebate form. Permit Number, AHRI Certficate Number, just a few things. It should be easy to pull up and send over. Heck, we probably should have received this information without having to ask for it. It has now been probably 20 TIMES that I have contacted them again, asking for this information. Text, Chat, Phone Calls, Chat Again, Chat again, Texting, I keep getting told... "You'll get it in the next few days." Lol yeah ok. Almost two months later of asking again and again, THAT'S clearly not happening. I call customer service and get transferred to offices that are closed, special shout out to FIXD employee Ryan Spring for hanging up on me literally mid-sentence, I really appreciated that. Typical of their customer service it seems.
Problem 2: The AC install was shoddy and failed inspection, and the vent they installed is already half falling off the wall.
Problem 3: It took *multiple* phone calls and chats to get them to finally schedule someone to come out to fix the items that failed inspection.
Same thing with the paperwork. "We'll look into it and get back to you."
Do they ever actually get back to you? Nope. Not without multiple contacts over several weeks to finally bother someone enough to respond.
Problem 4: When the repair for the inspection failure was finally scheduled, the technicians showed up about 4 hours late. By the third time they'd sent notice that they were running late but would be there "soon," they just stopped sending updates and finally showed up hours later. You can imagine work was absolutely thrilled with that.
Like most companies, they're nice and professional up front, but as soon as they've taken payment, they can't be bothered anymore. This is the 4th AC install we've had done over the years, and never have encountered such abysmal customer service and shoddy work. Absolutely awful. I am so frustrated I *still* have to deal with them because we have yet to receive the paperwork, and we are still waiting on getting the follow up inspection done. Save yourself the headache and pay the extra money to go with a better company.

My install is going on four months.
Started a double install 8-14-20,installed Downstairs unit. after numerous calls to finish the job. finally started the upstairs install 10-14-20.The tech could not get the upstairs unit to work. Said another tech would be there the next day.its 11-6-20 and still have not heard from anyone. Trane 20i seer.5ton and 4.5 ton. Said both units would be installed same day.

CAVEAT on new HVAC Replacement/Install: Read First
Bought an older home and AC died first day. Long story short, we were out of pocket for the unit. After bidding local for units $9500-12,000, I discovered Fixd. They were able to offer me the same unit as above for less than $7K installed. I read the HVAC reviews and must say I was skeptical about the install. B/c our AC location is in closet on main floor w/easy access, I wasn't as afraid as if I might be on the roof. Here's where the caveat begins :) The initial installers were 3rd party and HORRIBLE (wouldn't give them 1 star). Came out super fast, beautiful Trane unit, but installed the complete air handler without the filter box on the bottom. *They knew this and did it purposely to get job out of the way. After the complete installation (I called them on the carpet), they had to come back and take the air handler all apart- install the furnace filter box, and then re-install all the above. They left 2nd day saying "job complete". That very night, the AC unit clicked on/off repeatedly. They left it leaking freon. We shut down the unit and waited another week (no AC in AZ) for 2nd contractor. He came out and dawdled around for 3 hours in which I think, he soldered a leaky pipe. Supposedly all fixed. The following week, making weird noises & I'm totally NOT comfortable that the unit was installed properly. FYI, I have NOT paid for the unit yet. Called Fixd & asked that they send their BEST tech to review the install, etc. 3rd time was a charm! Sent Jose, who works directly for FIXD. He knew exactly what to do. The air handler had not been connected and the thermostat needed a proper program. He was polite, on time, and knew his business. I hope (fingers crossed) that it's good to go now. Would I use Fixd again? Yes, I would. Customer service was always helpful & genuine. Their downfall are the cheap 3rd party installers. I think it's a crap shoot. If your AC unit is on the roof or in a precarious area...DON'T choose this Co. If it's an easy no-brain install. I think worth the consternatio/toss up for the $3500-4K savings. I'm in Phoenix, AZ. If you decide YES, request Jose who works directly for Fixd. Just my .02

Awful company
I came to Fixd to upgrade my A/C unit, and instead ended up with no A/C and no electricity for 3 weeks during a hot Arizona summer after their new A/C severely damaged my electrical box within 48 hours of install, which Fixd initially took responsibility for, then waited 3 weeks until the day of repairing the electrical box to tell me that they changed their mind. I am still without A/C and electricity thanks to this horrible company.
Oct 6th:
-New A/C System Installed by Fixd.
Oct 8th (New A/C installed by Fixd destroys my electrical box):
-A/C fuse explodes and downs my electrical box, nearly causing a fire. An Independent electrician came to assess the damage and took pictures of the A/C fuse, and notes the A/C was the source of damage and will need full electrical panel replacement.
Oct 13th (Electrician hired by Fixd confirms damage caused by A/C):
-After contacting Fixd multiple times, an electrician hired by Fixd comes to inspect the damage and notes in his report that the cause of damage is from the A/C and that the electrical box needs to be replaced.
-The next day Fixd calls me back and says that they take responsibility and agreed to cover the full repair cost based on the electricians report. The earliest they could schedule was 2 weeks away - so I would remain without A/C and power during the middle of an Arizona summer for two more weeks.
Oct 28th: (day of scheduled electrical box repair)
-Fixd calls me right as the electrical company arrived to cut the power lines to my house, and informs me that they changed their mind and are not going to cover the repair costs.
-Fixd claims that they would never go back on their word to cover the repair costs, and that it was solely because the electrician changed his report - now stating that the A/C was not at fault. After finishing my conversation with Fixd, I contacted the Electrician to ask him about this - and he said he absolutely did not change his report and maintained that the damage was caused by the new A/C.
-I requested to speak again with Fixd, to let them know that their reason for changing their mind about covering the repair contradicted with what the electrician said. They have not returned my request for a return phone call.
Fixd has no regard for their customers or their products and is a nightmare to deal with. I'm filing complaints with the BBB and Register of Contractors against the company.

Fix'd Repair Nightmare
Please listen to me when I say purchase nothing from Fix'd Repair. I gifted a new complete AC System for my mother in April of 2019. By the second month her electric bill surpassed $700.00. I was able to get a Fix'd Technician out after calling for 2 weeks and he informed me that the unit was installed so the AC and Heat turned on simultaneously. Now in June of 2020 my mother's kitchen ceiling caved in due to a leak in the AC System. 6 different technician teams came to assess the damage and to find out what was causing the leak. Fortunately one person was honest and said the entire AC system was installed incorrectly, was a dangerous electrical hazard and needed to be ripped out of the attic and replaced.
So now 4 months later and 6 vacation days spent meeting the Fix'd technicians (not one was licensed) at my mother's home we have A/C!!! But the 5 foot x 6 foot hole in the ceiling still exists. I was told to get an estimate for repairs and Fix'd would send a check for the amount of the lowest estimate. I did this.. my Fix'd support rep approved the cost and said a check was processed and would arrive from the Denver office in 20-30 days. A check never arrived and I'm not getting a response from Fix'd of when to expect it.
My mother has spoken to the Tarrant County clerk and has been instructed to file her claim with Dallas County. We are now getting estimates to have the entire AC System Fix'd installed removed from her home and replaced. This cost will be included in the suit along with the charges for ceiling repairs and increased energy bills from 2019.
All documentation will be submitted to the court on Monday October 5th.
If any of you have had Fix'd Repair install an A/C Unit in your home I would suggest you have it inspected immediatley.

THIS COMPANY DOES NOT OFFER VALUE FOR YOUR PREMIUM PAYMENT. The power went out in my kitchen. I followed instructions and set an appointment on line. Fixd confirmed the appointment. I took time off work to be at home during the two hour service window. The technician never came. Fixd 'customer service' is unreachable. I was able to figure out who the technician was from the 'confirmation' text I received from Fixd. I called the technician. He advised me that he had 'real' clients he had to service and Fixd clients had to wait. He though he could make it by later that day or the next morning (as if I could simply wait at home for 36 hours). I again tried to reach Fixd customer service - no way to penetrate the system. Ultimately, I was without power in my kitchen for 5+ days (until I found and paid for the fix on my own). I think the only reason Fixd customer service ever contacted me was because I put a complaint on the BBB website. What Fixd offered was more paperwork and delay - I had already paid my own money to fix what Fixd failed to repair. In my opinion this company is fraudulent and I will be seeking compensation in court.
Extremely Disappointed
***UPDATE*** I STILL do not have my A/C fixed. When the technician left on Monday he said he would be back Friday. Today I get a message that my repair has been pushed AGAIN further til the October 6th. For the first six months Fixd was wonderful for minor appliance repair. My issue came as my A/C went out when temps were in the mid to high 90's. 1st I had to wait two days to get an appointment. 2nd, when the technician came he knew what was needed within 30 minutes of inspecting. The issue is he would order the part and would not be able to install until Tuesday or Thursday of the following week. Now I receive a call that they will have to push it out to the following Monday. Two weeks without A/C in South Texas is near unbearable.
When I contacted them and explained I have small children and take care of my elderly parents they were looking at additional options to help (Portable A/C, fans, etc). They called back and said they were still working options. Still nothing. I will NOT be renewing with Fixd. Extremely disappointing when I needed the he most.

Horrible experience.
We hired this company about 3 months back for a/c Installation. The experience has been horrible.
1st. they guaranteed a price and when we agreed to take them on, they increased the cost. The agent said she had overlooked an item.
2. They had issues on installing one of our units. The tech suggested problem was a thermostat. He replaced it with one he said was Wi-Fi enabled. It was not. I called and a manager argued with me it was until I asked him to walk me through how to make it work. He stated “I am not a tech" I had to show him the thermostat on the target website and show him it was not. Though this was replaced with a Wi-Fi enabled one, I was taken aback by this managers assumption of my ignorance as well as his relating to their business of temperature regulation.
3. The unit, a trane did not work. It was very humid upstairs. The tech they sent said it was our fault as we kept the bedroom doors closed.
The unit we replace was much older and supposedly less efficient but never had a similar problems. The tech’s solution was to lower the temp in our house until it felt like winter indoors. They sent in a different tech who diagnosed the thermostat for the unit upstairs was to blame and changed it. He also was suggesting that the failure in cooling was because we did not have a large enough vent. As stated, the a/c system in the house was installed in 1995 had been working well with the vent size we had.
Marlon though is the one person in this organization I can report no problems with. Although he did promise to return and replace the thermostat on this unit with a Wi-Fi enabled one. A service manager reported he would make this happen. This has not happened to this day many months later.
4. Our system which is now about 3 months old broke again 2 weeks back. We called and they reported they needed to replace a defective part.
Note the unit is brand new and 3 months old. The tech reported they had to order the part and it would take 3 days. I asked to speak with the manager and he was laughing about the matter and blaming covid 19 for delays. I had to tell him over the phone that this as no laughing matter. My wife called them after the 3 days and was promised a manager would call us back but none did.
The 3 days became 10 days. When we called about day 7 we, were told the part was ordered and awaiting a tech to install it. It had been sitting there for 3 days per the person we spoke to.
The tech who came to install it reported that he was not made aware the part has there and that they had cancellations and would have gladly come in to replace the part. According to them, the company focusses on new installations and not on the repair of the faulty units they install.
I agree with his on this part as they seemed very prompt before we paid them for the job but after they had received the money, it was “ appropriate” for them sit on a part for more than 3 days while a family in Houston was enduring 80+ temp with humidity .
In summary, this company has a good sales pitch, they are dishonest as noted above and care about their clients’ money and not their plight. Marlon and Beatrix are good reps for this company.
I decided to write this review especially due to the manager laughing over the phone and I had expressed to him the temp upstairs was in the 80s and humid. In my 43 years, I have never felt such disdain for another human’s plight. I feel others should know what to expect from them.

Worst home warranty company
Worst home warranty company! I am a Realtor and I send business to home warranty companies. I will never recommend Fixd to a client and will advise other Realtors to do the same. I have been lied to multiple times through the Support chat on the App. When I get a supervisor involved they just apologize for the agent telling me wrong and will not cover the repairs. The last supervisor I was emailing with was rude and never made anything right.
Update 9/30/20
Was emailed by customer service last week and no effort was made to make anything right. The agent told me she is sorry I was told incorrect information, and to just contact her in the future about my home warranty. I am very disappointed and do not recommend this company to anyone. Just save your money and go with another warranty company.

Worst company ever.
I called for dishwasher repair, the coil was broken, it took them 3 chats, 2 emails to finally come out and fixed it
They it started leaking the tech came out spent less than five minutes and declared he would not do the job.... Took me another lengthy chat to schedule a call with a manager (Ps. those managers never call)
yea our pool we had already paid for it in the warranty, they still charged us $200. and now they are having a hard time refunding.
And you cannot get anyone on the phone, just chat with customer service reps who have no power to do anything except pacify you with "i am so sorry" , "I understand".....
Find another company, this one sucks
