If I could rate zero stars I would. Fixd Repair installed two A/C units for us on 7/17 and 7/20. Installation went smoothly. However, since the units have been turned on, there has been an on-going humidity issues in the house. Both systems are blowing cool, damp air instead of cold and dry. Our humidity levels have ranged from 50-61percent. They’re lowest first thing in the morning and then rise from there. Compare that to my mom’s house where the humidity levels range from 33-37 percent.
Fixd Repair has sent the same technician to the house three times. First visit, he made some adjustments which only made things worse. On the second visit, he reversed the prior changes and admitted he was stumped and didn’t know what else to try. He tried calling Trane Support, but couldn’t get through. He said he would continue to try to contact them to schedule an appointment when he could be at our house and on the phone with them at the same time. After hearing nothing from the technician that week, we contacted our sales rep who said he would get right on it. They called the next day and said they would be sending out a third party to look at the issue. It took another week to get an appointment, but to our surprise, they sent the very same technician out a third time, not a third party. How insane is that? The tech admitted he had not tried to contact Trane Support.
I’m losing patience fast. It’s miserable sitting in a house that feels like it’s being cooled with an over-priced swamp cooler when it’s in the 100s outside.
I contacted our sales rep again this past Thursday, but have received no response as of this morning.

3 strikes and they are o-u-t just like…
3 strikes and they are o-u-t just like my A/C. In Texas, in August. The technicians have not been helpful. Opinion on last tech is tbd since a part has been ordered. Little hope since his reviews are 1 star for knowledge. May never have working A/C with Fix'd.

Don't waste your money
I had a simple bathtub repair that I scheduled under our home warranty. Immediately after scheduling we received an email saying that we would be notified when a tech was assigned, but that never happened.
The status of the job remained 'tech not assigned' until I canceled it. I tried to contact support, but I always got a message saying 'no agents available', and trying to send a message would just show a spinner on submit.
They were happy enough to take our money for the warranty, but won't even pretend to honor it. Total waste.

Fixd resolved my issues
My A/C system needed repairs and was too old to put money into repairs. Fixd gave me the lowest bid due to a credit for the parts they wouldn't have to replace on the old units. The install was rescheduled a total of 5 times over a couple of weeks while we were without air conditioning. Finally they installed it yesterday but could not activate it due to a defective part. I was promised by the installer that I would get a couple the next morning from his supervisor advising when to expect completion of the job and start up of my system. No one called even after I made the request twice again in the online chat. No response. I've now submitted an email to see if I get a response tomorrow. I am totally out of patience with the lack of response and the delays in service.

They don't deserve 1 star, needs to be an option for zero stars. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, hands down. Don't even think about buying a warranty from them. My claim has been open over a week now for a simple repair, they keep canceling and pushing it back every day. I have had to take off work to accomodate themand then they don't show. Customer service is pathetic, I have literally spent almost a full day on the App and phone trying to get service. Do your research, save your money, they are terrible. Read the reviews and then go somewhere else.

Beware frequent claim denials
So I recently had two problems, both of which Fixd refused to handle. First, I have a pool warranty and my salt cell developed a crack in the housing. Not covered. Strike 1. Next, my oven is failing and is a fire hazard. Some electric or plastic is melting below the induction coils. Not covered because it's okay for my oven to burn my house down as long as it still cooks food. Will be looking for a better warranty next year, not happy at all with Fixd. For the one problem they actually did cover (a plumbing leak), they planned to have me to wait 3 days to have it fixed even though I called and was able to line up their preferred contractor the same day. In the end he still came out that day but I think you get my point. Even IF you are fortunate enough to get them to agree to fix a problem you'll not be getting good service.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience! Pad in full (6k) for a new AC, they replaced everything outside and inside, after 3 months it still does not work!!!!! There is zero sense of urgency on anyone's part. Their customer service gets a negative zero on a scale from one to 10.

Do not buy anything from Fix'd Repair.
I had a complete A/C system installed in April of 2019.
Immediately began having high electric bills - Fix'd tech came out and said the unit had been installed so Air and Heat turned on simultaneously. He corrected the error. Everything was good until June 2020. Unit began leaking and before tech could arrive 5 days after service scheduled.. ceiling caved in.. My son came over and put a plastic bin in attic to catch water.. now 3 weeks later and 4 Fix'd technicians later (all of whom said the unit was not installed correctly and is a dangerous electrical hazard) I'm still stuck with a leaking A/C unit and cardboard patching my kitchen ceiling. With one visit I actually received an invoice of $187.50 for service that was not done. On the most recent technician inspection of unit.. My son witnessed a Fix'd employee attempting to level the AC unit in my attic.. he borrowed a screw from one of two bands securing the elevated unit.. it broke off.. they dropped another that couldn't be retrieved.. so now I only have two screws holding the entire unit in place. I continue to reach out to Fix'd and nothing has been "Fix'd". This company is now owned by ANGI Homeservices Inc. I am currently getting estimates to repair the AC unit and my ceiling and have contacted my cities court clerk to file a claim against this company.

Extremely disappointed
Extremely disappointed. After initially receiving a prompt response and bid, the technician failed to show up for their scheduled walk through appointment. We had to rescheduled 5 additional times, and no one ever showed up. After calling the Fixd Repair help line twice to inform them of the issues, we still never heard back from anyone. Obviously we are going with a more professional company.

If I could give these guys zero stars I would. The first job I ever asked them to come out for, they sent a technician who did not have the required equipment to even do the job. If I did not buy a ladder the day before he showed up, he would not have been able to complete the job, fixing a pipe in the ceiling. I proceeded to let Fixd Repair know I was unhappy about my experience and not a single person followed up.
Since then I chose not to reach back out due to their lack of quality in service. Almost a year later I experienced issues with my toilet that ended up being a bigger rooted issue, but initially I called to speak to a representative to talk about the toilet and the previous job. It took me 3 business days to even get someone on the phone, great call back system Fixd! And yes, I called back before they did even though the manager wants to say "i see a call back, sorry you didn't get it." They would rather argue that they do not want to help their warranty holders. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
Now that it is a bigger issue that they do not cover, they do not feel the need to do a single thing to help a warranty holder that still has a incomplete job done from last year.

Absolutely Horrible/Update
Please pass this company Bye. They are absolutely horrible. I called in on Monday and explained my carpet was extremely wet and I did not know what was going on. I explained it was by my air conditioning unit. The representative decided I needed someone to come out and look at the air-conditioning and not a plumber. The appointment we set for Friday (June 19th from 9 to 11). On Friday at 7:30 I was sent a text saying the appointment was canceled. Again this was done through a text. At 9:00 I was sent another text saying the appointment was confirmed and another tech would be there between 9 and 11. At 10 am I received another text saying the appointment was canceled and rescheduled to Wednesday of next week. I immediately got on the phone and asked for management. The representative said none was available and Wednesday was the first thing available for me. But I still have a leak that has my carpet extremely wet. I hope this Pandemic takes your Business out of business since you care nothing about your customers. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Burea and hope people read this. Please stay away from this company.

So I have had 3 Techs come out to home. 2 plumbers and one HVAC tech. Another is scheduled for today (06/26/2020).I was not called to schedule an appointment I am assuming they were just going to show up. I have attempted to contact a manager to no avail. I also attempted to send an email to the General Manager (J Tinsley) to no avail. I have to get national attention to this company so I will be contacting the News Media. Please Please pass this company bye. They take your premiums for a service but don't deliver when they are needed.

On 06/26 I received a text stating the appointment was canceled and rescheduled for 06/27. I have canceled my warranty with this company and went with another home warranty company. Please do not give this company any money for premiums. I promise you will be sorry. I am warning you, Stay Away.

A horrible home warranty company
A horrible home warranty company - I have bought and sold real estate for many years. I decided to use Fixd, I have a plumbing leak, I have been on hold for over 2 hours waiting for someone. I tried to log in yesterday online and after putting in email and passcode (as I am a new customer) it asks for my mobile number yet no place to input the number - so clearly a software issue. This company needs to get it together. DO NOT USE! I have a leak and its been over a day and still cannot get hold of a live person or set an appointment online.

Update May 2021:
After my initial horrible experience, Fixd has actually come through! I know - I'm as surprised as you are. With about a month left to go in my contract, my AC compressor blew out. It took a week in the Texas heat for someone to come check it out, then another week to get the part and install it. But the good news is, Fixd covered it all 100% (except for the initial service charge). This was about a $2500 job and they took care of it with 0 hassle. So in the end, this turned out to be an excellent investment after all.

Horrible service. I have a simple plumbing issue I tried to schedule two weeks ago. No one showed, no one has been assigned, and all 3 times I’ve contacted customer support they’ve said they’re finding someone “as we speak”, and yet they never do. And despite all of this, they’re refusing to cancel it and refund the $50 I already paid for the job. Isn’t it illegal to take someone’s money and not provide the service? If no one wants to come out, then fine - cancel it, refund the $50, and I’ll make other arrangements. I’m not sure who to file a complaint with so I figured I’d start writing bad reviews. This company was 100% a waste of money, especially given I was foolish enough to get the deluxe package.

FANTASTIC service and product
I’m a licensed engineer, union carpenter, and have led multi-billion dollar commercial programs nationally and internationally for 35 years, so understand most technical and business aspects of building repair & maintain, from the high level all the way down to soil, rebar, roofing - the works.
My recent experience with Fixd was Fantastic - on time, cleaned up after themselves, main plumber (who is licensed) was onsite to check/approve installation, high quality equipment installed, and no extra or "fake" fees as I've encountered with other warranty companies and their stable of weak contractors.
They’re also a US company that is totally based in the US - headquartered in Dallas TX - so no overseas customer service with a language barrier.
This was a great experience - my compliments fixd, and keep up the good work !

Wish I could leave a review with NO star! Had AC put in Wednesday 25th took them 12 hours only to find the next day my heat won't even turn on. Both Friday & Saturday they said they would send someone out....never showed never called to say what happened. Really sorry of ALL the AC companies in this Valley I picked you, now I am stuck with you all. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!!

not Good at all. Don’t use them.
We’ve had them for less then a year and I can say now the only good thing about them is the app. Their technicians are not very good at their trades - everytime we have a problem it always requires a repeat visit because it isn’t fixed the first time. And when it isn’t fixed the first time you have to put it in like a new ticket, wait for them to schedule and then call multiple times to have them refund the $50 copay. Currently we have a problem with our air conditioning which is pretty important given current state and it wasn’t fixed with the first visit which took two days and now we have left three voicemails, sent two emails and tried chat with no response. Just a terrible company. I’d definitely recommend another one to save yourself the headaches and get a quality service.

We recently purchased a complete heating and air conditioning system from Fixd. There sale rep Jesse Cummins was very knowledgeable and gave us an unbelievable price. We did have some scheduling problems due to weather but Jesse was on top of it and kept us informed of the situation. But, except for the price, the best part of the experience was there technicians Chris and Fabio. These two young men were outstanding. Even though they had some unexpected issues during the installation, their knowledge and experience allowed them to come up with solutions without raise any concerns to us. They even worked late to finish the job in one day. Once again thanks to Chris and Fabio.
