Wir haben in der letzten Zeit bei mehreren Bank Geld angelegt. Alle Banken wir waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, nur bei Ford Money haben wir grauenhafte Erfahrungen gemacht. Alles sehr bürokratisch, selbst zum abrufen der Postbox braucht man die Ford Money App, nur blöd wenn das Handy kaputt ist. Dann braucht man einen neuen Aktivierungscode. Auf den warten wir seit Wochen. Eine Vollmacht bekommt man nur über Post-IDENT. Auskünfte bekommt der Bevollmächtigte trotzdemkeine. Bei vorzeitiger Kündigung, werden die Zinsen einbehalten und man hält es für nicht nötig den Kunden im Vorfeld zu informieren. Ist ja leicht verdientes Geld für Ford Money, wozu dann Service anbieten!
Weder per Email noch am Telefon wurde hierzu Rechtsquellen genannt. Einfach eine Email, man bekomme keine Zinsen, ohne eine Rechtsquelle, ohne Namen des Sacharbeiter, nichts!
Wir haben, nun das Konto gelöscht! Ford Money wäre meiner Frau, wenn ich einmal ausfallen sollte, nicht zu zumuten gewesen.

An der Antwort von Ford Money erkennt man dass das Problem noch immer nicht begriffen wurde. Einfach unfassbar diese Inkompetenz...

Nachtrag zu unten stehender Bewertung:
Seit vielen Wochen ist der Online Zugang nicht mehr möglich, sodass wir zwischenzeitlich unsere Konten kündigen mussten. Dennoch stellt die Bank weiterhin fleißig Unterlagen (z. B. Steuerbeteiligung) online zum Abruf ein, was ja aber eben nicht möglich ist. Auf Emails wird nicht mehr reagiert. Absolut kriminell was die Ford Bank hier macht. Meldung an die BaFin ist mittlerweile erfolgt. Weitere Schritte folgen.

Seit einiger Zeit ist der Login nicht mehr möglich weil die Secure Sign App von Ford nicht mehr funktioniert. Es heißt plötzlich immer dass die Zugangsdaten falsch sind (was natürlich Unsinn ist). Bereits mehrfach habe ich den Kundenservice angeschrieben doch hier wird man schlicht und einfach nur verarscht. Jedes Mal wieder antwortet die Bank dass man sich einloggen soll und dann ins sog. Sicherheitscockpit gehen soll. Aber der Login ist ja eben genau nicht möglich. Neue Zugangsdaten werden trotz mehrfacher Aufforderung nicht übersandt. Ich kann nur jedem raten: legen Sie bei dieser Bank auf keinen Fall Geld an!

Entering my third year of fixed rate savers. Interest appeared promptly and have had no issues throughout. Online & app clear and easy to use. Rates remain competitive (although offerings obviously fluctuate). Also, customer services very helpful when discussing isa transfers.

Opened two accounts in the past two months. Experience totally positive. Excellent web site, so easy to use. Communication excellent.

Really poor experience for my son. He could not withdraw his money despite the app and iOS being bang up to date. Ford told him he wasn’t showing as authenticated despite their screens showing he had been (when he managed to open the account). The only way he could get money out was to go through yet further admin hurdles to re-authenticate. All Ford’s fault. Yet my son had to bear the consequences. He’s shut the account yet Ford claim it’ll take 5 days (yes 5) to get his money out, despite the fact one can normally get money from one’s Ford account within one working day. He’s putting the money into a higher paying account, just like I’ve done. AVOID FORD MONEY!
Update: Ford has asked for my son’s details. But the horse has bolted! He’s off to a better rate!

An awful shame but i've had to move my money from Ford as the rate has dropped. They're the easiest company ylto deal with! Fast & efficient if you're looking to save etc. Hopefully their rates will be raised & or a new a/c will appear as i really enjoyed dealing with them. Good to find a bank that's on the ball.

The bank of england held interest rates the last announcement yet Ford Money sends an email out to say they are lowering their rates. Certainly changed my opinion of Ford Money. Moved all my money out to someone more competitive.

I have a Ford Money 1-Year Fixed Saver account which I had requested to mature into an easy-access Flexible Saver account on 23/12/23. Logged into my online account today on 27/12/23 and the maturity instruction has still not been carried out and I’m unable to withdraw my matured funds. I appreciate it’s the Christmas period but I’ve never experienced such a delay with another savings provider - systems are normally in place to ensure that maturity instructions are carried out in a punctual and timely manner.

Since original review, a member of the Ford Money Team has since contacted me to arrange the maturity transfer to another Ford Money Flexible Saver account - which I was advised would take up to five working days. Still not actioned as at 3/1/24. And I fail to understand why an internal transfer should take up to five business days. Atom Bank maturity transfers - for example - are carried out immediately. Not impressed.

I opened an account when Ford Money first started and had no problems opening my account online, been with them ever since earning some of the best interest rates Well done Ford Money.
Be aware 15 Dec 2023 I had 3 Ford Money emails with different details on them. Never part with your money or details until you get that letter from the Company, and still check bank details and email address

Ford has an excellent and user friendly web site and opening accounts has been easy. On the one occasion I needed customer service support the member of staff was very helpful and went out of her way to help. An ISA transfer was straightforward using the online tool. Interest rates are very competitive if a shade off the best on the market.

They are totally excellent. Great communication and easy to use.

From saving perspective , great web / so easy to navigate , and very clear , comparatively good saving rates and very helpful customer service when I had cause to call them

I myself have an account and opening it and using it have been seamless to date!
However my daughter and her partner tried to open an account on my recommendation and talk about polar opposites!!!
They lost her partners documents sent by special delivery and refused to open an account on some sort of BS technicality
If you as a bank are serious then I would suggest you sort out your admin side and also the rudeness of your telephone team(who deny that calls have taken place)In my experience this only happens within companies where the workplace is toxic…..and it shows.
This treatment of customers who actually provide a living to your staff is disgraceful and to that end I think it best to withdraw my deposits from Ford Money and move it elsewhere.Really great app based account ruined by shocking customer service within the Company!

Die Bank bietet zwar gute Zinsen bezüglich Tagesgeld, bei derzeit abszeigender Tendenz und ist nun der Unsitte anderer Banken verfallen, Lockangebote für Neukunden mit höheren Zinsen für sehr wenige Monate zu verbreiten.

Derzeit liegt der dauerhafte Zins auf Tagesgeld bei 2,65 %. Neukunden erhalten über 3,2%? Allein dafür sollte man derartige Banken meiden, wenn nicht sogar wechseln, wenn man wüsste, daß andere Banken sich langfristig besser verhalten und Wechselvoegänge nicht mit ordentlich Aufwand verbunden wären!

Katastrophe und ein ewig anhaltendes Ärgernis ist die Führung der Konten mittels zweier nicht perfekt ineinander greifenden Banking-Apps, welche die Bewertung maßgeblich herunterziehen!

Die Apps arbeiten niemals konstant ohne jegliche Fehler und wechseln die Fehlermeldungen unabhängig von verwendeten Endgeräten.

Oftmals ist der Zugriff auf Konten von unterwegs nicht möglich, weil entweder Netz überlastet, allgemeine Fehler, Passwort vergessen und, und, und.
Updates erfolgen selten und wenn, sorgen sie nie für eine Verbesserung!

Unzählige Hinweise im Playstore bestätigen den Frust unzähliger Nutzer diesbezüglich, erzeugen allenfalls standardisierte Antwort.

Gern wird die Schuld an der flüssigen Funktion auf die Fehlbenutzung von Kunden geschoben oder stetige Verbesserung versprochen.
Es passiert jedoch NICHTS, was die Zuverlässigkeit deutlich erhöht!

Die Bedienung erfordert die Öffnung der eigentlichen App und anschließende Secure Sin App. Diese solle mit Kennwort oder Fingerabdruck bestätigt werden, wobei danach nicht automatisch die Hauptapp öffnet, sondern erneut manuell geöffnet werden muss. Umständlicher geht's nicht mehr!

Wenn es denn einmal für wenigstens eine Woche durchgängig ohne Fehler möglich wäre...

Es verschiedene Banken mit eigenen Apps. Bei jeder anderen Bank, bei der ich Kunde bin und war, erfolgt die Anzeige der Kontostände sofort und zuverlässig nach erster Legitimation ohne zusätzliche App. Diese ist erst nach einer weiteren Buchung oder Auftrag vonnöten!

Leider scheinen es die die Verantwortlichen Administratoren nicht zu begreifen, sind nicht fähig oder testen es nicht hinreichend!

Where these negative reviews come from i do not know, been a customer for the last 4yrs and have no complaints whatsoever great place to save/deposit your savings

I opened an easy access savings account some months ago as I was tired of the measly interest rate offered by Santander. I find that Ford Money gives good communication and had no trouble setting up the account and changing money over. The interest rate is very good and the mobile app clear and concise, making it very easy to move money about. The interest was also paid promptly. I'm also notified each time there is any activity on my account.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Ford Money.

Although there are quite a number of negative reviews my own experience in opening a 1 year fixed term account and depositing money has been very straightforward.
I have made all applications and transactions online but not via a mobile app.
I have only given a 4 star rating because I have not yet had cause to call customer service, nor requested a refund , closure or any other request for return of funds.
If the monthly interest is paid on time and the correct balance is available at the end of the 12 month term , then they will get a 5 star review from me.

Shame there's not a NIL star rating as that is what I think of Ford Money

Twice sent proof of ID and followed up with an email acknowledgment - stating will be resolved within 3 days

A week later - and nothing

Gone elsewhere now - opening an account within seconds

Don't waste your time with these chancers

Misled on product I was trying to open on behalf of mother who comes under Court of Protection. 3 wasted telephone calls on 0345 number, initially told eligible with application sent out weeks ago (not received) to find apparently now not eligible. Stated an intention to complain which had not yet been actioned, but astonishing I have now received email from Ford Money that they are now progressing my complaint or to be accurate their version of the complaint. I am now liaising with the Financial Ombudsman and FCA to establish if Ford Money are allowed to write their own version of a complaint and then investigate it without reference to the potential complainant.
