If I could give 0 to this Freedating site I would. Not even 1 star for this. I do believe this is a scam site to get your details. I experienced the same as many of you have. I joined, my photo was approved, but I waited 2 weeks for my profile to be approved. Because they're trying to find data connection to your email to scam you.
My profile was suspended because they wanted my ID. That already shot red flags everywhere! No way am I going yo send a copy of my ID so that they can clone it and use it for their scams.
I believe most of these people on this dating site are married, not the people they say they are, and there are a very large amount of scammers too! Do you think Freedating are suspending those profiles? No they aren't

Beware! This site is a scam just to get peoples details. Like others as soon as you create a legit profile you get suspended.

I uploaded completely legit info and photos - then they suspended my account. At that point you can't do anything - they have all your stuff and you can't even remove or edit anything or delete the account. Read the T&Cs if you want to use these guys. They don't even send an email to tell you.

Its probably the most genuine free dating site out there because most of the profiles are older and unattractive people, the real world. There are hardly any of those fake pretty people glossy head shot ones or those Asian ladies around the age of 31 trying to sell you cryptocurrencies, the scourge of Tinder these days. The pictures on free-dating are the people that are actually going to turn up on the date looking like that, again refreshing as most dating sites profit margin is selling unreality.

I've used this site many times. Firstly they kept deleting or suspending my account every couple of weeks. I don't know if idiot men who call me fake, report my page, what, becauze I don't like them or they are too old for the age bracket I set my preferences to???
I even complained 4 times including today!! And they send me email saying we believe your profile is fake. What the actual...
They then said they would put my profile back up so saves me having to write my bio all over again and said they would make a note of it under my email address. So what happens again today?? 14/08/22, they suspend my profile, I only made it yesterday. After emailing them asking why everytime I filter my messages to the age bracket I want it never works. That's when I found my account suspended then they keep saying sorry it will 'never' happen again. What a joke. Dumb people being employed for this company.

Wow. There are some pretty nasty reviews on here and a lot of what I would consider false accusations. Freedating is absolutely free in my experience.
Sure there are some dodgy people on it, its free after all, but there are on every site I have tried.
Online dating is always a bit of a minefield so keep your wits about you

Decided to dip my toe in the water by trying a free dating site. Just confirmed what I already knew that online dating is not for me. The limits I put on re age and distance were totally ignored. I had young chaps asking if I was a cougar or wanting me to be their mum. One chap wanted a strict woman who would treat him like a naughty schoolboy and give him a spanking! There did seem to be a lot of sexually frustrated men on there. Got too much so was happy to leave. I gave 2 stars for the few nice chaps I had texts with and also for how easy it was to leave. Going to stick to the real world and see what life brings me from now on.

I tried this site again in 2022 and over 10 years ago to and it has not changed one bit its still a rubbish site Yes its 100% free to message people and you dont pay a penny thats the good side but the women on here i think are on it just because they are bored and lonely and have nothing better to do and just want someone to talk to thats if your lucky enough to find one to even talk to if they are just lonely they should call on the samaritains and not waste peoples time but 99% of them dont even reply back to your messages so they are very ignorent and who would even want to meet ignorent people with no manners not me and the 1% that i managed to get to talk to have some kind of mental issues going on i can tell even without out meeting them so these 100% free dating sites only attracted weirdo's and they are not really wanting to meet you because if these people were really serious in meeting someone to have a proper long term relationship they would go on the sites were they would have to pay like eharmony to show you they are serious so if they were to join a paying dating site it means they are seriously looking for the special one so just do your selfs a favor and avoid these freedating sites they are a waste of time even plentyoffish is no better they are all rubbish,So in the end i was so annoyed with the site and the women on it that i said to my self no more MR NICE GUY and that it would be easier for the site to boot me off yes i wanted the site owner to boot me off so i messaged a few women for the last time and insulted them all with an intro line of HELLO FISH HOW YOU DOING!! you guy's will know what i mean LOL and thats a big insult to a woman the next day my account was closed down HIPPY and i'm so glad it was but sorry to you few decent women out there as there must be some good women out there somewhere they are not all bad but its like trying to find a needle in a haystack

Id rather have a free dating site and get zilch than pay to get zilch...ive complained about so many and Dan Winchester always says: Il take a look...doubt if he does though...i find scammers are new faces who then disappear for a long time until you forget then they reappear. Iv learnt to not trust them on Freedating, especially those who write with bunched up sentences, with lots of commas and full stops in them with no spaces and extra capital letters in the sentences...with big smiles on their profile faces...who knows whos picture is posted online? even Freedating are clueless

I Want on for boredom, its sh#t the profiles send automated messages and never respond back when you reply to them also there's nothing for you about it because you have to pay to view messages just a scam like anything in life.

Just avoid. Having checked many dating sites there is the whole fake profile thing and you are on the site for a while and get messaged by someone who just happens to be offline when you find the message. This site certainly has a lot of bots on it, with random jumbles of letters and not much else. The moderator Dan is a pretty obnoxious character who spies on private messages and has not really developed a basic style of customer service skills. Apparently he is supposed to be against dating fraud, when the reality is he is just muddying the waters.
Well I had at least the mild entertainment of why online dating sites are so bad - stil I did miss having an insane woman talking about how she likes Breaking bad and her boyfried had been cheating on her and wanted revenge : which something you need when you have just spent a couple of hours on Windows Vista wallowing in the nostalga of 2007.

The same as other free sites, some guys just want one night stands, some want to move in within a week, others are rude, the seemingly normal ones ghost you.
Might as well spend money on a good site or spend it doing stuff you enjoy, more chance of meeting genuine guys/ladies!

Cons.......numerous fake profiles, trolls with multiple profiles in forums, sex pests, granny grabbers, moderator as useful as a chocolate teapot.
Sad that a good site has been allowed to decline so much.

This website is the worst dating website. The men just want sex they are not interested in dating. Within 24 hours of creating a profile I was messaged by men from all over the country incl Scotland, Northern Ireland. I'm in Northamptonshire. I put in a 25 mile radius.
The ages ranged from 20/30/40! My age is 68 so I put in 60-70.
I was even contacted by a cross dresser, and when I replied I wasn't interested told me we could have had great sex.
Freedating need to put controls on their website to comply with the user's parameters.

If you want to be stalked then this is the site for you one bloke messaged me using multiple profiles I blocked him on all of them and he was not prevented from contacting me again. Also the site is good if you are wanting to be used for one night stands or a visa but no way for proper relationships
