The whole experience from end to end was lovely. The bed itself is fabulous. The delivery and assembly team were courteous and very efficient. I only wish I had more than one bedroom!!

Manufacturing fault - warranty not honoured
Purchased a piece of furniture that developed a manufacturing fault. After contacting the company they initially agreed to fix the problem as it was clearly a manufacturing error. Since admitting a fault they have now refused to repair or replace the item as I moved house, with a professional moving company, and the items were kept in French Bedroom packaging.
Pretty poor behaviour for expensive furniture, will not be using them again and would avoid them in the future.

We're saddened to receive this review and wanted to take this opportunity to explain the reasons why we were unfortunately unable to assist on this occasion.
Your furniture was delivered to your UK address back in early November 2025. We request that our customers check their furniture on delivery to make sure their items have arrived in perfect condition. Any issues which arise on delivery can then be resolved quickly thereafter.
You contacted our customer service team in early May of this year, six months after the furniture was delivered. To report an issue with one of your bedside tables. The team here, helped to review and investigate the reported issue to understand how this may have occurred.
However, it was later confirmed that the goods had since been moved onto a new address outside of mainland UK, from which the original delivery was made.
We are unfortunately unable to take liability for any damage reported once delivery has been made by our delivery team or if the goods are transported onwards once delivery has been made by our couriers.

600TC Paris Collective
I brought the new 600TC Paris Collective bed linen and fitted sheet and I impressed! It is so silky and smooth, it’s made my bed feel like a hotel! Getting up in the morning is going to be even harder now!
I ordered it on Monday afternoon and had it delivered Wednesday morning. Very speedy!

The BEST customer service!
We recently furnished a bedroom with several pieces from this company, and the whole experience has been fantastic from start to finish. The furniture itself is absolutely beautiful, and the quality and finish are exactly what we’d hoped for, but what has really stood out has been the customer service.
We had a small issue which needed resolving after delivery, and we were fortunate to find ourselves in the care of Kai, who has been genuinely exceptional throughout. Friendly, proactive, reassuring and incredibly efficient… a level of customer service that is increasingly rare, and therefore all the more noteworthy. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and the issue was dealt with quickly, professionally and with real care. [UPDATE: having sought further help on a related issue, Kai has continued to deliver nothing less than SUPERB customer service - she is a real asset to the company, and a shining example of what customer service should look like!]
I also have to mention the attention to detail generally. Even the wood samples they sent out were so beautifully finished that we’re now using them as coasters on our gorgeous new bedside cabinets.
It’s obvious this is a company which cares deeply about both its products and its customers. We wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again, and I’ll be recommending them to friends and family.

Conceited Customer Services
The furniture is superb. However don’t dare complain or you’ll be on the receiving end of a conceited customer service team.
Our bed arrived and installed fine in April. The delivery team assembled it well but left the house in a right state with all the packaging that unless you pay them £15 they won’t take away. Bit much at the price for the bed.
Funnily enough, if you look at their order pages you can’t send the bed back unless you have the original boxes (buried in small print). So if you tick the box to take the packaging away at your expense - and have an issue? you can’t get the items back to them on a technicality you paid for. Watch out for this!
Gets better..,,
We also ordered two bedside tables at a cost of £750. Their £50 welcome back voucher that came with the bed only covers the cost of shipping. Which given my above point I also find a bit much from a company that makes superb furniture. Shipping should be free.
So I complained about these two points when ordering the tables. Here’s what they did;
- one email confirming order
- no emails confirming delivery
- no phone call back despite me calling
- no message or response on website when logging into account
- 8 days later they cancelled the order and sent me my money back for the bedside tables!!!
Seriously - great furniture - but customer services on a par with utilities or banking - blunt and just ignore you.
Well done French Bedroom, you’ve got this nailed, right?

We are saddened to see this review and wanted to take this opportunity to respond to some of the comments you have made within your review.
We don’t offer complimentary packaging removal as standard because each customer’s delivery circumstances and requirements are different, and often customers want to keep the boxes and packaging.
To deliver quality, handmade furniture with a two-man delivery service is expensive and we heavily subsidise these costs so our customers don’t have to pay the true cost of their delivery. We wanted to point out that whilst you paid the subsidised amount for delivery on your two orders, you also benefited from discounts on both orders.
Your subsequent order was cancelled due to the abusive message you added in the ‘Notes’ section. This section is designed for customers to give our team any information they feel will help us better serve them and make their delivery as easy and smooth as possible (home move dates, pregnancy dates, shoes-off areas, narrow drive-ways).
French Bedroom and its staff won’t tolerate abuse, written or verbal, and that is the reason your order was cancelled.
Extremely overpriced
Extremely overpriced , cushion very poor quality , the inner cushion cheap and not quality for the price , the throw is marketed to fit a king size bed it dose not , very very disappointing.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service! I wasn’t happy with my bedding as when it arrived I noticed it was not 100% cotton and I felt this hadn’t been mentioned on the website. I was so disappointed as I’d spent ages choosing it. The customer services were easy to get hold of and very helpful and genuine. I was able to return the product and get a refund. I would use the company again.

Great customer service
My delivery was a little complicated due to my location, but the team were really helpful in communicating with me and ensuring my order arrived on time. I appreciated the friendly and professional approach and speaking with a human rather than a chat bot!
I did give some feedback about the description of mattress sizes on the website which I found a little confusing, but the team were so helpful and knowledgable when I called up to clarify, I was able to easily make my order with confidence.
I am yet to sleep on my Love Story ‘Serenity’ bed, but it is absolutely beautiful and seems to be exceptional quality workmanship. I also ordered bedside tables and some textiles which are also high quality and stunning!
