Sticky and gloopy, not fudge!
I Ordered the yule tide fudge log and sadly all but 1 of the slabs of my fudge arrived gloopy and sticky, i couldn't even cut it with a knife due to it all getting stuck. It was more like a sticky toffee. The only one that had a fudge consistency and is edible is the irish cream fudge. I couldn't make contact with the fudge kitchen via email, the email address they provided didnt work and the emails bounced back. Paypal have refused my claim which is sad as I am now left £26 pounds out of pocket. I wouldn't buy from this company again nor recommend them.

Sorry to hear about your experience with us! This is certainly not how our fudge should be, and sounds like it may be a temperature issue affecting the fudge in transit. In incidents like this we'll always replace your fudge for you.

Hi Rose,
Thanks for your review and sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your fudge. It is definitely quite different from traditional "crumbly" fudge made with condensed milk and butter. We make all our fudge using whipping cream, all-natural ingredients, and work it by hand on huge Cararra marble tables to a traditional American recipe from the 1830s.
It sounds like your fudge may have gone soft, which can happen if the batch hasn't been boiled to a high enough temperature to compensate for temperature changes in transit, or if it's been put in the fridge. Please do contact our customer service team by email via info@fudgekitchen.co.uk and they'll be able to look into this for you.

Worth five stars just for the quality of their products and generally good experiences I've had both in-store and ordering online in the past.
However, on my most recent order they really outdid themselves. There was a small error with part of the order, and their customer service response was prompt, kind, and really going above and beyond. I wish there were 6 stars to give on here.
