Good value for money

An excellent retailer to buy clothing for single use. I’ve brought formal white shirts from them at £7.20 a piece and it’s remarkable how good the quality is for a single use clothing item, although I should mention that the shirts are useless after twice being washed

multiple orders simply not dispatched.

I've had multiple orders now where the warehouse simply hasn't sent the items. I cant cancel and get a refund as the items don't have tracking numbers yet, and i cant receive the items as they've not been dispatched. So I'm in limbo waiting for something to happen. I was promised a refund on one order but then it said they couldn't refund me until I'd returned the items - I never received the items so how do I refund them.
Customer service associates are useless with no access to the warehouse to ask about orders and no ability to follow up, and really can't do anything other than make false promises to try and get you off the phone. Honestly shocked at how bad they've been lately. I'm more shocked that I'm out of money and no attempts are made to resolve the issue. The company simply do not care.

Asda proven they are the worst

Asda have proven they are an absolute disgrace. Bought 3 items of clothing online on Sunday 17/05/26, one was full price, the other was buy two and get a saving of £2. Picked the items on on Thursday 21/05/26. Looked around my local store and noticed they had the items in the store but larger sizes but the prices and offer was still the same in store as it was online.

Go on to the website today 23/05/26 and notice Asda has reduced the prices of the items I ordered. I paid £26 for my online order, the change in prices means I could have saved £4. Like I said, Thursday the prices of the items were still the same but 2 days later they are reduced. Asda would have known months in advance they would be reducing prices on 23/05/26 but they said nothing to a long standing customer of theirs, they kept quiet about the reduction in costs and had me pay the higher prices. Scummy behaviour Asda, very scummy.

I ordered newborn baby clothe over 1 month ago in april 2026 ...the never arrived and I wasn't given a refund.

I contacted Asda customer service 3 times while pregnant and they kept promising me my refund. Till now may 22nd there has not been a refund.

I will go further and make further complaints regarding this.

No email since 4th may stating a regund issues... I called my bank checked statements from 4th may 2026 till now and I was right No REFUND WAS MADE BY ASDA GEORGE!.

SO WHAT DO WE DO NOW ASDA GEORGE?

My non next day delivery asda

I ordered an item next day delivery .it was sent by yodal 3 days later .yodal said they couldent find my adress even though they have delivered many times befor .they then said we will deliver tomorrow.which made it 4 days later .unfortunightly I was going away for 3 weeks and wouldent of been home .so my item got returned to asda by yodal .asda refunded me for my item.but not my postage .do not bother with on line delivery especially next day .its rubbish

Having been told by the courier whose…

Having been told by the courier whose driver delivered a parcel to my house despite it not being right name, street, or postcode that there was nothing I could do to get the parcel removed from my property and delivered to the correct address I contacted the sender - George. They told me there was nothing they could do as I don't have an account with them - why would I have an account when I haven't ordered anything? The very unhelpful man on the end of the phone told me to donate the item to charity. I'm sure the person who was hoping for delivery of said item would be very reassured by the excellent customer service - not!

Unable to provide refund over £200

Ordered £245 of school clothes for my 2 children on 29th April. It was apparently shipped in 3 packages. ALL 3 sat with Evri for 10 days with no movement. I called Asda and they told me I would get refunds for all three packages. Later that evening a refund of £26.50 came through. I called again the next day and was given a £15 refund for the second package but was told as the contents of the third one were over £200 they couldn't refund it and needed to pass it to someone competent. The next day I got an email saying the refund had failed and asked me to provide my bank details for a bank transfer (which I provided straight away). 5 days later still nothing. A further phone call was answered by someone who barely spoke English and couldn't help at all. I have now raised a claim through y credit card and can only hope it is resolved this way. I have re-ordered the school uniform from Tu by Sainsbury's instead. AVOID ASDA GEORGE AT ALL COSTS.

Will not allow me to return duvet set…

Will not allow me to return duvet set as i am unable to get on line the duvet set was advertised as blue its more grey then blue and the quality is awful for the price i paid no response to messages i feel i have been conned do not buy from these people beyond dissapointed !!!!

They have moderated my review on the website! I ordered a pack of girls sleeveless vests for summer 0-3months! They sent me the wrong vests that’s just basic ones! Asked for a review but I can’t add a genuine review to say I never got the right item because they changed the review! Well Asda George maybe next time check it’s the right item you are sending! Careless!!!!

Asda George Click and Collect

Asda George Click and Collect.

Placed a clothes order online for 3 items of clothing on the 3rd May 2026 through the App for delivery in store which was arranged for collection on the Thursday 7th May 2026, which was ample time for the delivery to take place ready for me to collect in store. Picked up one of the items in store on the 7th May. The second package I was told I would get an email/text to tell me when it was delivered. Called Asda George on the 9th May to see where my order was. They said wait until Monday, no update on the app, no update on Tuesday on the app when I clicked on Track parcel. Wednesday 13th I went into the Asda store and spoke to customer services who could not help as they didn't have any further information. I called the Asda George helpline (03300530111), where I was told the parcel was being returned as damaged. Firstly this wasnt started on the App when clicked on Track section literally 2 minutes before calling Asda George Helpline, so not sure where the advisor had this information from. Secondly, I was told the money would be refunded onto a gift card I no longer had. Then I would have to call back to get that sorted. I asked why Asda George could not do all this internally and issue me a new gift card directly to my email. I was told they are different departments and that's how it works.
This is the second time I've ordered and my parcel hasn't arrived where I have had to chase what's gone on with my order. I'll be honest, I like Asda George clothing, but the click and collect process and customer service is shocking. Once this is sorted, I'll be deleting the App and never using the Click and Collect Asda George service again. Don't bother with the faff either!!!

Incompetent morons.

Would’ve been zero if that were an option.
Made an online purchase of some photo frames. They took payment and gave me a date for collection. When I turned up to collect I was told the items were ‘missing’. They were clearly out of stock but couldn’t be bothered to tell me at the time.
I then requested a refund by phone and was told I’d have to wait 3/5 working days to get the refund on non-existent items that George at Asda had stolen my money for. Waiting SEVEN working days and was then told that no one had bothered to cancel my order so would have to waits another 3/5 working days.
Company ran by incompetent lying thieving morons.

My parcel had been stolen within 10…

My parcel had been stolen within 10 minutes of the delivery due to the driver not knocking on the door. A wonderful lady called Phile assisted me, she was kind, considerate and extremely helpful with my situation. She resolved the issue quickly and I now have a replacement of my items on the way. I shall be installing a ring doorbell now. Thankyou Phile, you are a credit to George at Asda. :)

Egg chair displayed in Asda…

They got an egg chair displayed in Asda Tottenham that is not for sale.Staff said is for advertising purposes only and might be in store soon. Not available in stores, not available online, not available nowhere. Waste of time trying to get one .

Rubbish

I ordered some school tights for my daughter. She wears 40 denier ones so that’s what I ordered. Collected them, opened the pack and they were 80 denier. I was in store when I checked so the store colleague (who was very pleasant and helpful) dulid the return and raised my refund. Did another order for 40 denier tights, collected them, lo and behold they’d sent 80 denier again. It clearly states on the order 40. So another refund and went elsewhere. Clearly someone at the depot just grabbed a pair of black tights and didn’t bother looking. Won’t use again.

Asda George Rubbish Customer Service

I rang up today about a simple sales enquiry with ASDA George & the customer services I have to say was absolutely disgraceful. They weren’t very helpful or welcoming, empathetic & they left me in a bad mood like I didn’t trust them. I had my suspicions that this is not a good company to do business with & after reading reviews on trust pilot I was right. I had a rude advisor that kept talking over me & treated me like I was an idiot. They kept asking me for an order number & I said several times it was related to a sales enquiry & about delivery, could they transfer me to the correct department. They did NOT refer me to the website or do anything & the website is very poorly run with no product codes for each item you want to add to your basket. I felt like every time I was asking for help & making it clear about what I needed, I was having to struggle but I just wasn’t being properly listened to. The advisors basically just did not care & it felt like I was talking to an AI or robot. I wanted to post about my experience because I need to let other customers know. I personally wouldn’t recommend ASDA George to anyone. I would stay well away & listen to the reviews.

SCAM COMPANY

SCAM COMPANY. AVOID.

I purchased a hoover. This has been an on going case for a refund for OVER a year now.

The hoover was faulty. Booked refund and collection. Said collection never happened. Fast forward to requesting again. Finally they collected. It’s now been months of promise of my refund to no avail. They received the hoover back. Yodel tracking confirms it. But no refund. They send case after case to the “senior team” for “manual refund”. Nothing ever gets done.

The Indian call centre sounds like it’s in someone’s back yard whilst a festival is playing.

What a disgraceful company Asda has become in the name of penny punching. Avoid like the plague. Won’t be using them anymore.

Rubbish

Have to give one to write a review. I ordered from asda, they took my money as the bank confirmed this. But no goods and it appears no order taken! Phoned customer service, well, what can I say, so unhelpful. Told to contact bank and get them to sort it. Won't be using them again. 0 stars from me .

After having a bad experience last year…

After having a bad experience last year with a George orders I decided to risk it again as the offer was good. However, once again the order did not arrive in store on the day stated. Rang them when it still hadn't turned up another 4 days later, to be told they will let me know in up to 48 hours what has happened ! Asked for refund and will definitely not be ordering from them again
