Excellent products and support

good experience
I read the review here about the packaging and got a bit scared, i ordered from the eu site (ships from their warehouse in germany apparantly) and had 0 problems. Came with dhl on time. Only had the router for a day but seems to work great (might update this later if anything negative happens). Anyway had no problems with site and shipping

Great support experience even for a refurbished product!
I bought a refurbished router that had some issues with the power adaptor. Support reacted very, very fast and told me to try a different adaptor. I ordered one online and everything worked fine. When I got back to support on how to proceed, they just refunded my newly bought adaptor including even my shipping costs! This was such a pleasant experience. Never expected this great support for a refurbished product. Thanks Zoey!

Terrible routers
Terrible routers, very poor range, very low transfers. Complete lack of after-sale support. Ignoring the customer. Poor hardware and very low-quality firmware. I definitely advise against purchasing it.

Beware of GL.iNet's marketing regarding openWRT support
I bought 3 products from this brand.
My early two pocket routers were fine (GL-AR300M and GL-MT300N-V2). Low power, good VPN support.
Yet, I returned my last purchase (GL-AX1800 / Flint) to Amazon. The product is mistrepresented as being openWRT. In reality it is using non-free Qualcomm's QCA Software Development Kit (QSDK) on top of a very old end-of-life openwrt 15.05. It is not compatible with true OpenWRT and doesn't benefit from the same security updates.

Really made my life much easier since I purchased Gl.iNet Product.
