Your engineer Glyn (113) was very helpful, polite and very professional and new his job inside out. Our whole experience with Vaillant from our initial phone call to book our boiler service and the service itself was extremely good and we would definitely recommend them.

Time wasters
They sent a letter to book a routine yearly service but phone line busy so tried web. Their system is cumbersome and I've failed twice and wasted time to try to book this. AHHH! Update - eventually an appointment made a week or two ahead. We'll see but already paid!

Nice, polite, friendly staff over the phone who listen to your query / concern and ask you questions to get you to the right answer and right person to assist you further
Can book within 3 days and book a certain date that suits you. Get a time frame the week before and then a morning or afternoon slot for your appointment
We had Karl (338 Karl) who was head guy and was knowledgeable and obliging to help us out. Chatty and friendly too which was nice and made you feel at ease during the process. Karl fixed the issue and was very informative and positive about the process too

I have rarely experienced the level of excellence provided by the engineer who attended our address today. Superb and swift service which has not only completely resolved the technical issues, but has completely overhauled our boiler and given us complete peace of mind in terms of safety and efficiency.

I had our boiler serviced which…
I had our boiler serviced which highlighted an issue with the timer which the first engineer forgot to mention to us but had written it on the job sheet.
We called customer service when we realised the timer wasn’t working. Roll in Stuart 537 and he identified which clock was required and in less than 24 hrs the boiler was working! Thanks for a great service!

Loophole galore on warranty
Purchased a house in 2024, boiler was installed 2022 by previous owner. Had several calls on the boiler due to a fault the same one. F75. Because they haven't serviced it my warranty is void. Even though i have had a local engineer do it.
They have loads of loopholes in their T&C's, don't bother with this budget brand it will hurt you in the long run..

Your boiler was installed in January 2022, and an annual service must be completed on or around the same date every year to ensure your boiler guarantee is valid. As you have advised your boiler has been serviced by a 3rd party engineer, please can you email servicevisit@vaillant.com with your 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 service records so the team can advise you further.

Brilliant Engineer
Richard the engineer (no. 527) came out today to resolve an issue with my boiler. This was initiated by Your Repair/Hometree after the local engineer was clueless.
Richard was in a different league, systematically working out the issue, taking his time to ensure everything was correct. He was both professional and knowledgeable and a credit to the company.

Engineer 538 was great. He came on time and worked on our boiler in record time. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the boiler and everything we needed to look out for to ensure safety in our home.
